Today I went sightseeing in the city.I looked for a cache here and there.Thank you for the cacheTeam sissifalke
Tftc. Took me way longer than it should have but hats off to the CO for a good hide.
Great hide, we came at night, I would imagine a little easier during the day. For anyone reading its not the sprinkler The tiny rubber ducky is still in the container. TNLN TFTC
Second visit but this time with a little more luck. The cache was found and the log signed. With the cache returned as found it was time to move on. TFTC
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! A few days ago, I arrived in Brisbane and today I explored the city again. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, last Tuesday night, for a couple of weeks work. During my time here I hope to find several geocaches, but for many reasons none was more important to me to find than GC8E - Queens land. I always enjoy the old ones. So, after a morning of effort to 'fuel' up the car I had, I headed out to find that and have a walk around. Then on my way home, I stopped for a few more, like this one.Actually I came this way for another nearby cache, but since I was here I went for a walk down by the river for another couple (just one more). All quiet in the area and after checking the wrong places I then expanded my search to the correct idea and found the nicely hidden cache, safe and well.---Thanks to TrickyT for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Brisbane Day 2: On The Other Side of the RiverTodays schedule was jammed packed with things to do, and of particular interest were the caches in South Brisbane, and U of QLD at Saint Lucia (which I learnt was pronounced as Lu-chee-ia and not Lu-see-ia) on the ferry. It was also river cruise day, making maximum use of the 50 cent fare trial period, and hopping on and off at all the various stops on the Central Brisbane area. Ended off the day at Kangaroo Point, and crossed the Story Bridge back into the CBF to end the day. Walked 37.5k steps today over 26.5 km, making for a very crazy day of geocaching. Thanks for all the caches across Brisbane - they all made my day in some way or another. This is the specific log for this cache: It took a little while for the River Hopper to carry me across the river from New Farm to materialise and I was glad for the opportunity to catch my breathe and rest my weary feet. Crossed over and found this nice little lookout, where I had yet more opportunity to rest my feet and poke around. The initial instinct was wrong, of course, but looking at the logs gave me an idea that materialised into my geosense activating and the cache getting found. Very clever hide here, and thanks for the cache!
TrickyT I found your cache Dockside Drydocks on 4/8/2024, 1:30PM. This is my find 6884 and find # 10 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip between Cairns and Adelaide and have now touched ground at Brisbane. We spent our first day here just walking around, enjoying our exploration of the city. We encountered many places amd enjoyed the local cuisine. We were also lucky enough to be able to find a few Geocaches as well.I took a few minutes to inspect the most obvious hiding places and found the cache at the last possible place. Nice hide with a nice view!TFTC!
Really fun find! At first I thought it was a nano, but I was mistaken. TFTC from pea555
I got the cache on my second visit, thanks to a little tip from the CO.Its a little trickier than you think, but use your caching sense and youll soon have cache in hand.
Well happy that it's up and running again. Thanks famerlor_dragon for checking it out.
It's there and eagerly waiting to be found. Sorry for prematurely visiting, but I was in the area!TFTC!
Happily the news tonight indicates the new drydocks ferry terminal is up and running so I'll check if my geocache is still in place and will enable asap.
Still fenced off but apparently terminal is due to be completed early 2024. If so cache will be back up.
Revisited the site and construction of the new terminal is certainly well underway but for how long no one seems to know. Happily my cache hide location seems to be untouched and I'm hoping I can hold onto this one unlike the other one along the walkway. I will continue to monitor but I assume when terminal is completed it will be on the news.
I have made a few attempts to ascertain how long the boardwalk will be closed to public but have not yet been able to do so. A new ferry terminal at dockside is part of the construct but I believe the wooden part of the walk will be replaced too. I will continue to inquire and will update if further info is acquired,
As per the last log entry the walkway has been fenced off. Apparently lots or renovation and a new ferry terminal being constructed. Disabled until I can clarify what the time frame is.
Sadly this cache is in a cage. No find today. Works going on in the area for who knows how long.
Last find of the night before my time on the hire scooter runs out - now back to the hotel

What a beautiful little area. Didn’t take us too long but that just gave us more time to explore. Still don’t know how it stays though TFTC!
Out on the bikes today cycling up and down the river and all around Kangaroo Point. This was a surprisingly pretty little area here. The cache was found after a short hunt but we had to outwait some muggles who turned up to take in the views before we could replace it. Thanks TrickyT
Hi tricky, two visits many years apart. First unsuccessful after an exhausting search, this time around and after reading some logs - success. A very clever hide. Thanks.
Finally, it happened to me. Right in front of my face but I just couldn’t find it. Finally, it happened to me. Found the right spot so I just have to sign it. Finally, A fav point from me. I’m so bxxxdy happy and I just can’t hide it. Finally!!! TFTC
Slipped out of the office between meeting today to pick up a nearby cache that has been tempting me for years to add it to the list of finds. Walked straight up to ground zero and laid my hands right on it. Inked the cache as two muggles turned up. Had to wait until they left to return the cache to its home.
In Brisbane for work which is great as I can explore new areas.
This cache had me thinking o places to hide then I discovered something which would suitcase cache and after inspecting a couple I had it found.
Thanks to TrickyT for the fun and the adventure.

Stoked to be the first to sign the new log book. Really glad I didn't give up on this. TF a superb hide!
Lovely walk along the river and amongst this neatly mowed quiet dockland area at the moment. Guess it is busier on weekdays. Quick find here, experience always helps. Just found a space in the logbook to sign next to someone else as it is full. TFTC
You need to search hard for this one. Hint - it’s up the stairs in the viewing area. Bring a small item for the container so that you can swap it with another small item Happy hunting! Thank you
It took some searching and reading logs before we got the inspiration.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache

Found by the scooter gang! Thanks a lot for the adventure. Actually took 4 of us a good 15 mins but we were in the wrong spot. Maybe 4-5m from actual waypoint but what ever! The hunt is the fun part
#11328 - The last day in Brisbane before heading back home tonight, and the last chance to grab a few more caches. First on today's walk was this find. Not one of the obviuos hiding places, but still classic. Not many mugglers around this drizzly morning, but just as I located the cache, a few rays of sunshine made it through the clouds.
TFTC and greetings from Sweden!

The last day in Brisbane, after having spent 2,5 weeks here on business, and it was time to head home again. The flight wasn't until this evening, so there was time for some last caches. The morning was a bit rainy/drizzly, but with a rain coat and an umbrella, it wasn't too bad.

Looked at the spot where it could’ve been, wasn’t there. Then looked at the other ‘one’ and found it!
Wasn’t the horticulture find I expected. Left a few coins. Loved the originality so gave it an FP. SL, TFTC
Out for a run enjoying the sunlight and doing some caching. Third stop, quick find once I checked the other obvious place. TFTC!
We looked for two days and just gave up now we are going to find caches in the goldcoadt
I've had this one in mind for some time but never able to go grab it. Finally had a chance to go make the find, with assistance from millzorz and geostubs. A nice cache in a popular area. TFTC.
I’m in town for magic round and thought we’d do some caching in between games.
An early start to our Sunday morning, we managed a few finds before the footy.

After being at hospital for appointments, my Mum mnance101 and myself decided to this cache. TFTC!
After being at hospital for appointments my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to do some nearby lab caches. While at Dockside we discovered that this traditional cache was also here. We struggled to find it. I then messaged the CO. I then noticed a spot that I hadn’t checked and there it was. Sneaky hide. TFTC!
Needing to be at our favourite Vegan restaurant by 5pm we found we had almost 9 hours to fill in so a-caching we will go!
I think we nailed over 30 smilies to our map today.
Well, well, well & done EXTREMELY well!
TrickyT alright!
We must admit we did spend more time than we should have here but will put it down to the ambience distracting us!
A very clever cache placement indeed.
What can be said that hasn't already been covered in Recent Logs? [?]
Great cache, beautiful spot, clever CO yada, yada, yada ...
Made our mark & replaced AS FOUND!

With a hint from TrickyT, we returned today to find the cache. Brilliant hide that deserves a favourite.
Nice hide! Took me longer than I want to admit to find. Lovely spot, so I didn't mind so much.
Up in Brizzie for some caching and we had attempted this one a while ago but the area was very busy so we gave it away. Back today and stood back and looked after reading some previous logs. Saw something and the penny dropped. Quick check and had the cache in hand. TFTC A fave point from us.
The light was fading on this one and I was about to give up but then thought to look in another place and boom! there it was.

Found on my walk around Kangaroo Point today. Surprisingly, this was my easiest find of the day. I have found similar ones and I felt an attachment which I saw on a couple of TrickyT caches in Springfield earlier this week. Coordinates spot on. Tftc
I read this one before getting out of the car and thought it was going to be too hard. I did find it eventually but took some time.
Out and about this morning with geopup, I headed to the lovely Kangaroo Point to find a few caches.
This one took a little while. Something I had read in a previous log kept popping into my mind but I couldn't make the connection. I was about to leave as I had to get home for work, I remembered the thing and realised I hadn't checked properly. I then had the cache in hand ... very clever. Log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks TrickyT for placing the cache here, a great spot, a fav from me.

I need to learn to stop overthinking. Found while running from the CBD around the river and back. I’m 8km in and have been on my feet for 2 hours. The running is fast - the cache hunting today is slow. But I’m enjoying it. TFTC
This afternoon, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I escaped from work a little earlier to take a walk around Kangaroo Point Dockside area. There were a few joggers and dog walkers about, and it as a nice area to explore. We parked on one of the side streets, and cut through a building vicinity that we probably should not have, but we couldn't work out a better entrance to the river promenade.
We made a stop here to complete one of the stops/Locations of *The River City Ferry Adventure* Adventure Lab, and so once we answered that question, our attention turned to this geocache. As it turned out, the cache was very well hidden, and we took a good 5-10 minutes looking around for many possible hiding spots. However, as I was reading past logs trying to obtain a clue, it was [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) who made the discovery. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TrickyT for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

This one screwed us over for a while but after a hint or two we got it! Nice day for it
When we arrived we were originally looking in the complete wrong spot. We spent ages looking and I had already saved it as a DNF when I saw one spot we hadn’t checked. Turned out that was where the cache was! Glad we found it in the end. TFTC!
Some thinking back to other caches we had found before and found it soon enough. A lovely area. TFTC
Took a while to get. Went for a walk to a nearby cache and let the brain work this one out. Came back and saw some spots and there it was. Tftc
Looked for a while, needed a hint, found in 2 seconds afterwards. Nice hide. TFTC
Just one more while I’m walking thru this beautiful walkway. Admired the houseboats here. Thanks handshow again for this hint. Saved me some time in this wet weather! Another good hide! Heading home this time thanks for the hide

Thanks to a few hints in the logs I had a pretty good idea of the GZ. Getting a real ‘feel’ for these types of hides.
