Logs
Found and logged after quite a bit of manipulation.
The magnet has gone AWOL and therefore had fallen to almost unredeemable position.
Has been replaced very gently for time being so that it can be accessed.
But needs a new magnet to protect its longevity.
TFTC and glad was able to log it on second visit.

Found it, but with a recent smashed wrist was unable to retrieve this one, even passerby muggles couldn't help.
Interesting Alley!
Interesting Alley!
Happy to find, particularly after a DNF. All good but the finger got some exercise.
Due to the thunderstorm in the morning we decided, that hiking was not an option today, so we did some sightseeing in Launceston and Devonport. After seeing a lot of rubbish close to the cache, we finally found the box! Thank you for placing it!
Found this one a while ago but for some reson didn't log it, found again and signed Good little hiding spot
Had to come back to put the smile back on this one as the Cat 1.0 must have been Muggled, hard to get out but All ok TFTC.
Back in Tassie finding caches that have been published since our visit.
We decided to tackle this one after tea so there were not so many muggles about. After reading the hint Mrs "T" made the find, but it was hard to extract.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

No find for this one today. Doing a bit of a round trip from Newcastle to Launceston and back. Will have to try some othertime choppersrule
Frustrating!!! We looked around the same spot so many times with no find. Came back a 2nd time and still took ages but eventually found it. TFTC
In town for some shopping and caching.... The party consisted of Zekeapea, Viking Erik, Abilily, Wiglet, Crystal Warrior, 1JRocket and wing6rider. I could feel it but 1JR did the trick to extract the cache. We put it back more sensibly. Thanks....
Tried to get to this one whilst over in Tassie doing a whirlwind seven day tour around this amazing island state. Home again now, tired but happy, and committed to returning another time to explore some more. Didn't find that many caches during the time I was there, but this was one that I did manage to sneak off from my muggle companions and attempt to find. Found the mural, and found some likely hiding spots, but no joy in finding the cache. Launceston is proving to be a challenge for me for some reason. Oh well, still enjoyed the early morning walk. Thanks for showing me the artwork choppersrule and Grumbligrot.
Out caching with AmelieDog and bindismum. Although we found the container, we weren't able to extract it and anyhow didn't have a pen. TFTC, interesting art.
Found with AddisonPascal and AmelieDog.
We found the cache but couldn't extract it.

Found it 9:50pm in the break of a ruckus Thursday evening with drunken revellers questioning our presence in the alley! Best attempted during daylight hours!
Our ninth day in Tasmania and we are in Launceston. After taking a tour of the James Boag brewery we are touring the CBD. Had to come back twice because the first time a bunch of muggles were camped out at GZ. Nice little hide. Hello from Calgary, Canada. TFTC.
Hi there choppersrule.
We found your cache **"Alley cat 2.0"** at 10:13:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18560).
The plan today was to log a random cache some distance from our camp site, and then find a few more caches using the "next closest" method. We started our journey in Launceston CBD and had a great day even though the tall buildings make the GPS jump around quite a bit!
Free parking in the city on Sunday is a great way to find a few caches without having to worry about feeding parking meters or getting a ticket. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 10 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape, but very hard to remove.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We had found the previous incarnation of this cache so we had a fair idea what we were looking for and soon had the cache in hand (well fingertips), but extracting it was a different story. Eventually we managed to wiggle it free from it's hidey hole. Thanks choppersrule and Grumbligrot for organising and maintaining this cache.
Day two of our Tasmania adventures with maccamob and this was our first cache for the day.
This one took us a lot longer than it should have, both with the GPSr not liking the location very much and a very well hidden container. We were very happy it was a Sunday and very few muggles around. The clue helped a bit but it was the third time we had looked there that maccamob came up with the goods and we both happily added our names to the log.
Many thanks choppersrule and Grumblig for the hide

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 0840. Our first for the morning after arriving yesterday. A colourful area and totally deserted this morning. Our thanks to choppersrule.
Took a bit of looking as it was tucked away really well but all logged and replaced
On a quick 24hr visit 'home'. I'd found the original previously so it was a quick grab at 0640 Sunday. Left a pathtag for the next finder. TFTC
Our GPS didn't like this area and wouldn't cooperate at all but by a process of elimination we eventually came up with the cache container. A busy little thoroughfare at midday. Thanks.
In town to visit family and managed to grab a quick couple of caches. Found a parking spot nearby and wandered into the laneway. A quick find between groups of muggle shoppers, think we found a cache in this alleyway a while back but this must be a new one. TFTC
Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
found this cache after spending the night here in Launceston
Was walking around looking for gift shops and saw the graffiti here and stopped to take a few photos, and realized as my gps pinged that i was near a cache, so waited for all the muggles to leave the area, and went for a hunt. Cache was soon found signed and replaced. Then off again to resume my souvenir hunt (more challenging than some cache hunts)
thanks to the CO's for this cache

Maintainer note, area is fenced off and cannot be accessed. Have requested CO to disable until available
My deepest and sincerest apologies for the absolutely woeful logging time for this cache. I currently have a backlog of 460 found it logs from the last three years. Yikes! Obviously, many of these will be difficult to remember and with such a big backlog I simply have to do a default log (other than a few special favourites along the way). I am writing this on the 18th of May 2019, when this log is for 08/07/2017 Thanks to all of the owners and sorry for the pitiful log!
Hi Choppersrule
Had an unexpected trip to Launceston for a family bereavement and today, we took a drive to look around and to gather some caches as we went.
This was the first find of the day. Anne had left her phone in one of the shops on the other side of the road. We went to retrieve it but the shop did not open until 0930hrs. So while waiting for it to open, I took the opportunity to search for this cache.
It was Sainted at 0925hrs after a quick search and find.
Plenty of muggles made their way past - but no hindrance to the search nor making the find.
I don't think the "murals" have changed since I was here looking for version #1
Cheers and thanks for the cache
OldSaint.
Incidentally, we got her phone too! Double jeopardy with two good outcomes.

Whilst we were away in April and May, a number of new caches were published in the north of the state. Now that we have caught up on the immediate priorities, we turned our attention today to some of the new caches. It was good to see the return of Alley Cat. As with its predecessor, the GPS signals are erratic in this area because of the many reflections off walls in a narrow alley. Initially we disregarded our GPS units and looked in likely spots - we soon had the cache in hand. The cache and contents were in good condition. After out GPS indicated that we were 17m from GZ when we found the cache, it was down to 5m by the time we had signed the log and replaced the cache. Future finders certainly need to let their GPS settle for a couple of minutes before looking for this cache. Thanks choppersrule for the return of the Alley Cat and thanks Grumbligrot for maintaining it.
Swept on my way through this alley on my way to my next appointment. Thanks choppersrule and Grumbligrot.
Tftc found the first version here so had to come and check out the second. Nice early morning grab with no one around!
As I had found this one in a previous life, I knew exactly where to look. Fiendishly hard to get the log book out, but I did. TFTC.
Found the original alley cat a couple of years back - great to see it back in action.. thanks..!!
Second find on my morning run and having found the original it didn't take long to locate and sign. tftc
Found Alley Cat 1.0 a few years ago, snuck out under cover of darkness tonight and found Alley Cat 2.0.

TFTC found quite easily tonight. I was worried when I read the last log but it is easy to reach
Found it but whoever was here last pushed it so far in you can't get it back out. Unable to sign the logbook for this reason.
