Decided to head out about town to make a few finds before the rain sets in. Very chilly today think the wind was coming straight from Antarctica.

Container quite wet and is starting to rust the lid closed (log safe sealed in plastic bag) glad I parked where suggested as ground is wet and slippery TFTC
Visiting from Adelaide on a golf trip. Had to do the touristy thing and find a cache or two. Tftc
Took the hard path rather than the easy path across the road from the lake. Muggle partner spotted it from the top of the hill. And when we got there, sure enough the likely container was the treasurer. TFTC
Found during a long weekend geocaching around Mt Gambier that saw an entertaining variety of caches and events, some caches as easy finds, others challenging, a few that required a hint from a kindly CO to locate, and one or two failed attempts that will need a return visit for another search! Thanks for the cache mogni!
I came down with mogni to do cache maintenance on some of her caches in Mount Gambier and surrounds. quick find.
After a short serch we found it. Unfortunately the logbook is verry wet and we coudn't writh in. Greatings Fasabrir
This was a milestone cache number 250. This was an easy find but the log is wet. TFTC
Doing "A lap of the lake" we stopped off for this cache. Thanks for showing us some extra parkland!
Today was a day of various activities in the limestone coast region. The morning began with Mount Gambier parkrun around the blue lake, a breakfast and farmers markets, and then geocaching to Penola to catch up at the Millicent mega promotion event. It was then geocaching back to Mount Gambier and finished off the day with a cave dive at Engelbrecht Cave East.
Killing some time before meeting friends for breakfast, I came past this one approaching from above, and started lookig around the various trees. Not a lot of luck in the usual places. Eventually spotted something half covered, with the reflection of the container looking back at me. So no camouflage in this container here - the hint may need to be updated? The logbook was quite saturated, and with no plastic cover and the usual rains in the area, it was probably fate more than anything Apologies but left spare logbooks and plastic covers back at the car, so the next Geocacher visiting may need to do some quick TLC to this one. Thanks.

Considered doing this one last night whilst on my walk, but decided to leave it and attack from another angle. A quick find today at lunch. TFTC.
A short stroll to GZ and the hide was located. Thanks mogni, found with Motndarg.
Read the description but was too lazy to drive around the other side, well we reckon we probably should have, the slope has very loose sand while trying to get back up.
Not sure what the clue meant on this one but with good co ordinates we had the cache in hand, great view from here across to the east too.
Thanks mogni for the meander and the cache. TNLNSL

Of course I made my way from the lake as always when I kind of higher the T valuation I slipped a few times but finally made it safe to the cache.

After I dusted myself off from falling down coming from the road something out of place immediately grabbed my attention. Nice hide. TFTC
Hi there mogni. Today started with some maintenance on the van then shopping, and fuel before some Geocaching in the afternoon which the rain caused us to stay close to the CP. This container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to mogni for this cache - our find #6385.
Suscoe's last day in Mount Gambier and we had a lovely time picking up a few more caches.
The day started out with solid drizzle before we got up. The remainder of the day was cloudy, a little sunny and mild, the perfect temperature for us to caching in.
We enjoyed some town caches, some farmland caches and some coastal caches.
Thanks to mogni for this hide, we came down from above and after getting to the correct side we found the cache.
All good here today.

Hi there mogni.
Today we decided to find some caches to the south east of Mount Gambier today. As it was going to be a hot one, we decided to do as many drive-by caches we could before the heat reached its peak.
We enjoyed our outing and found 8 caches (& DNF'd 1) in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Walked over from the suggested parking spot .

Who would have thought the lake is 'just over there [?].'
Thanks for another one Mogni.

Going on a long geo walk to get fitter and grab a few caches whilst the geo hubbie and daughter do their car fixing thing... both mechanics. Quick find, great discoveries as I hadn't walked around this area before.... wow lots of hills and great views too. TFTC
Found uncovered, I have rehidden as I think it was meant to be. CO may want to check. TFTC Mogni
Still heading west on a cross country trek. Stopped here and found the container OK. TFTC.
Following the mega at Parkville Melbourne, our route now takes us westward. This was an easy cache to find on the journey and when the log signing had been completed it was put back in place. It was then time to move on to make the next find. Thank you to mogni for placing this cache, which was fun to find.
Yes we parked at the wrong spot, but after attempting another cache nearby we found ourselves on the right level and were good to search. That turned out to e successful until geotoddler who was with me took a tumble down the hill after we signed the log. She was so brave and laughed it off telling me that she had been like a super hero! We giggled at all the sticky things on her clothes and then went down to discover that you can blow dandelion seed heads and it is lots and lots of fun. The real adventure came about when we tried to get back up to the top of the hill... we should have walked back the long way, but decided to take a shortcut. While I kept up my happy demeanour I was VERY concerned that we would end up tumbling down in a big TeamUs! mess. Geotoddler didn't really understand the gravity of the situation, but I somehow managed to drag the two of us up to the top in one dirty, dusty mess. Geotoddler had carried some dandelions all the way up, but with one metre to go decided she didn't like them anymore and dropped them like a sack of spuds... if she had done so earlier my job would have been much easier. Nevermind. Thanks for the adventure and thanks for the dandelions!
Found by Mary & David at 0915. What a view. How The Mount has changed. Our thanks to mogni.
After attending a morning event, cabbos and myself decided a walk around the Blue Lake was in order, something to do with exercise, sunshine, views... oh and of course... finding caches.
We started collecting the info for the multi and had to remember to check the app for any trads we might pass along the way
For 5 minutes I was literally barking up the wrong tree, decided to go check elsewhere and within seconds had the cache in hand. Now to get back up to the trail!

The first of a month of at least 2/2.5 or 2.5/2 caches to satisfy a 5/5 US challenge. Quick find when at GZ when I spotted something amiss. Now it's time to bid SA a fond farewell and head back home.
First for the day after attending the event at maccas.. Guess who went down the hill.??? and it wasn’t me.! Thanks mogni for the cache.. Now for our walk around the lake to get some smileys and do the multi..
School Holiday time. I joined becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke for a roadtrip from Maryborough to Mount Gambier to the Glow worms and back again. So much fun. Thanks for the cache.
School Holiday time so we formed our Clarmensma family team and headed to Mount Gambier then home via glow worms for a mini road trip.
Lots of fun had on our trip. Sorry for late, generic logging. TFTC

Nice quick find here by Gemma.
School holidays yet again which means we form Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07, AdamSistema & LukeSistema), choose a destination and off we go.
Mount Gambier was the chosen location this time with a 3 days trip, ending in a detour via the Otways to see some Glow worms. Lots of km traveled and caches found. A fun getaway yet again. TFTC

Ooh just a few more around town whilst we have daylight....
School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

Time for one cache today and this was it, found a way down and soon spotted the cache. Had a bit of a look for a way back to the road but decide it was easiest to go back up where we came down. TFTC
Great time to search for this cache, golden hour over the lake and it had just finished raining. One thing look deceiving which threw us for a moment but within minutes we had the cache in hand. Thank you for the fun!
Quick and easy find in the rain (why is it always raining when we get here) while on our way to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache mogni

Attacked this one from the wrong side but still managed to find it. Getting back up was another matter in the rain. Thanks for the cache mogni
While walking around the lake I crossed the road to find this cache. This time the cache took a while to find due to there being plenty of hiding spots. I looked around and saw nothing. I then noticed something that had no reason to be there. I then saw the cache. Thanks mogni
