Logging some caches I forgot to log in Australia. After the walk around Uluru, we went to the Kapi Mutitjulu waterhole. Another beautiful sight that's important to the aboriginal people. What a shame that it is not usable anymore due to human activity!

Drove around Uluru a couple days ago, hiked yesterday, and did the Mala Walk and Base Walk today. The walls of the Gorge are imposing and remarkable. Came to the waterhole and found the (?) answers and sat in quiet contemplation for a few minutes before a tour group arrived. I didnt get a good picture of the water, but I captured a bird (finch?) under the walkway.TFTEC

A very enjoyable early morning bike ride around Uluru. A very peaceful lo action and we're surprised to spot a cormorant on the far side of the water just before decided to move just out of sight. Thanks for placing and answers sent as requested.

This was definitely one of my favourite parts of the walk around Uluru. Lush, green, just beautiful. A cormorant was sunning itself on the edge of the waterhole. I did not think I'd find one of those so far from the coast! We sat and pondered the answers while listening to the birds. A special place indeed. Tftc

Greetings from Wales. We continue our Australia adventure in the red centre with a day trip to Uluru and a walk all around this stunning place. After a long and hot walk it was lovely to hit the shade of this secluded valley. The location is amazing and we could actually make out the features relating to the snake woman legend. Answers from the earth cache sent to the CO so I hope they are OK. Thanks for bringing me here.

Brad and Janet are on an epic 6 week trip aiming to travel along the Canning Stock Route, the longest stock route in the world. 51 wells and crossing 4 deserts. We are traveling with a group of 11 vehicles on a tour led by Ron and Trent Moon. We have the geomobile towing the mini-geohouse on wheels. We have a couple of caches to put out if we find a good spot. We will grab what we can as we pass. We have finished the CSR part of the trip and are now headed home via Meekatharra, Sandstone, Leinster, Leonora, Laverton and the Great Central Road and Surveyor Generals Corner then across to the Stuart Highway. We started the Outback Way geocache trail in 2013. Slowly adding as we revisit from time to time. Hopefully we can add some more. Revisiting Uluru is always good. Answers collected and sent. Photo attached showing Brad and his bicycle during his ride around the base of Uluru. Other photos of Uluru showing changing colours added as well. Beautiful place as always. TFTEC Smile

Was actually here just under a week ago and it was 28C - the next day hiked Kata Tjuta and got caught in a huge downpour with waterfalls running down - wouldve preferred circumnavigating Uluru instead during the downpour and seeing waterfalls off it instead. Answers sent via message. TFTC in this sacred place.

Freddo sent Sallymander to Uluru and told her to find an earthcache. Earthscience answers submitted to the cache owner for approval. Amazing location. Thanks for the wonderful geology lesson.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. 2449 - After arriving at Yulara yesterday evening and setting up the four wheel drive with tent as my base for the next two days, I made the necessary arrangements to get the National Park Pass and a Tour Bus drop off and pick up organised. They dropped me off at the Mala car park and after checking out the Mala walk and Kantju Gorge, I headed off to the coordinates to be able to claim this Earth cache. What an amazing place! I grabbed many photos of the Rock as I circumnavigated Uluru in an anti-clockwise direction. I grabbed the information I needed here at 2:28pm and I was on my way to complete the hike. Thanks for placing the cache here Team Ferreira - a place truly deserving of an Earth cache and a favourite point.

Explored Uluru with my family and fiance on my visit from the United States. I'm heading back to Melbourne today, but I had a wonderful time out here in Yulara. Met some wonderful and friendly people and had a blast exploring this vastly different land and experiencing cultures. We spent a day exploring Ayers Rock and spent a second day exploring Kata Tjuta. Experienced different foods and the field of lights. Visited the cultural center and learned about the Anangu people. It was a blast. Thanks for the wonder-filled experiences.

Velk cesta do Ocenie - den 23 - Nrodn park Uluru - Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory (80 km)Po vydatn hotelov prav anglick sndani s peenmi fazolemi, ampiony, rajaty, slaninou a vejci jsem konen vyrazila objevovat krsy nejslavnjho utru Austrlie - Uluru alias Ayers Rock. A stihla jsem to v prav as. To m samozejm vzdlaly earth keky, jinak bych to netuila. Tak konm a jedu zpt k utrku podn si ho ut.Todays main goal was visiting of National park Uluru - Kata Tjuta and I spend whole day by Ayers rock. It is amazing stone ! And so photogenic. I walked around on Mala walk and Kuniya walk and some other stops on the road. At noon I was back on the hotel for rest and continued with walking in late afternoon. Wonderful place. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic. The answers were send.

This was definitely one of my favourite places to visit while in the area to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Fortunately, we were able to sit in the quiet at this amazing place. Also on our way back to the car park we met with some Aboriginal artists, of which we purchased two beautiful pieces. Thanks for the Earth Cache.

The snuggle muggle and I got some great deals on cheap flights, so over the Melbourne Cup weekend we decided to leave Victoria and head for the **NT**!After seeing a somewhat hazy sunrise, we started our base walk and headed over to this Earthcache. It got warm on our walk quick with a high of 37C today. Luckily, there was a bit of shade as we were exploring the waterhole and so we were able to sneak out of the sun to grab this Earthcache. This wasn't my first time to Uluru, but I wasn't really geocaching on my last trip and so this made the visit extra fun!I always love Earthcaches as they usually take me to beautiful locations and teach me some fascinating things, but this one completely out did the usual Earthcaches I find. Not only was the location one of the most beautiful I have been too, but it was interesting reading up about the Mutitjulu waterhole and how it was formed.A huge thanks goes to [Darth Briji](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=804e94c7-7393-404e-a7b1-6994df79fbb5&wid=8fc3084c-b543-4fb9-a376-f63f240949f8&ds=2) for this fascinating and beautiful, Earthcache! Found by The Empire + HWalking close to Uluru is an awe-inspiring experience that allows you to truly appreciate the magnitude and beauty of this iconic natural wonder. As you approach this colossal sandstone monolith, you become acutely aware of its presence, both in its sheer scale and the intricate details etched into its surface. The path leading you closer to Uluru takes you through the arid, rust-colored desert landscape that surrounds the monolith. The earth is still beneath your feet, and the only sounds are the whispers of the wind and the occasional call of desert birds. It's a serene and humbling atmosphere that envelopes you, intensifying the anticipation of what lies ahead. The closer you get, the more you can see the intricate patterns and textures of Uluru's surface. There are caves and crevices, small alcoves that have been shaped by millennia of wind and water. These formations tell a geological story that stretches back eons, and you can't help but marvel at the forces of nature that have sculpted this monolith. The color of Uluru becomes even more vivid as you approach. In the changing light, it appears to shift from deep reds to softer oranges, creating a dynamic visual display. The rock's sheer vertical walls rise majestically, inviting you to reach out and touch the cool, ancient sandstone.Walking around Uluru, you can't help but be conscious of its cultural significance to the Indigenous Anangu people. The site is adorned with ancient rock art, and as you explore, you gain a deeper understanding of the stories and traditions that have been passed down through generations. Thanks for the earthcache Darth Briji, favourite point added.- MEarthcache #408
