I wanna keep the cache active.
It's gone missing many times so I had to re-think the hide and I came with a possible idea that I need to work on for a bit.
I am not un Sydney at the moment but will come soon to check on it.
If anyone needs the space to hide something on their own, I am happy to hear about ideas and I could free the space if necessary.
Thank you

The area was accessible and muggle free so had a good crawl around but I think this one may have been removed.
Bitterly disappointed not to get this one. Should really be deactivated during Vivid Festival
I think the barriers made this cache just just out of reach so had to let it go.
Couldn't really reach past the barriers (not that I'm certain the cache is blocked by the barriers) so will have to let this one go this evening. The wind was blowing me away. As we left the lights for vivid turned on. It was a pretty sight!
Could not get into the area to search due to Vivid barriers. Disappointingly, not even the Furry Opera Singer was in residence. Another day.
I walked up to GZ after a work celebration, but couldn't get close to GZ as the area has been fenced off, presumably for Vivid. FOS was there, so at least I got a picture of him. I'll be back!
I'm going to blame this one on the skirt and heels, I think I know where it is but that's not happening in this outfit!!
Took quite a while to get it out and back in but managed to thanks to the distraction from the seal (wingman!). TFTC #145
Quick and easy find. No seal around and hardly any muggles. TFTC greetings from Germany. These couple of weeks here have been awesome.
14/5/17. 7:23 AM. Cache #5011.
2nd of 5 finds - Darlinghurst, Sydney, Northbridge, Artarmon, Greenwich.
Early Sunday mornings are great for coming into the city - few muggles around, less traffic and easy parking. So, with the geowife enjoying a Mother's Day sleep-in, I decided it was a perfect opportunity to get a couple of recent caches in the city, plus some North Shore ones on the way back home.
Started at "Gay and Lesbian Holocaust Memorial" and then this was my next target. The closest I could park was Albert St, so I had about a 650m walk down towards the Opera House. Got to the end and seeing as there were a handful of muggles walking about, the first thing I did was have a look down the steps to see if Syd was about. Nope, probably out hunting in the harbour for his breakfast.
When the muggles had walked off I had GZ to myself and could get into position for a good look, so got an easy sighting of the cache. SL and replaced, then on to my next cache, "Long Gully Bridge" which I found in Northbridge only 17 minutes after finding this one; I think more of that short time interval was the walk back to the car than the drive over the bridge! TFTC.

Pre-shopping caching on a nice Saturday with Lili. The only one we found today, and - Lili made the found! I think I can just do signing from now on and leave all the searching work to her:) Thanks for hiding this cache here we enjoyed the walk and the cache a lot!
Final find of the day and a nice one to round out my little afternoon raid on the area. The rain was easing up a bit and there was a break in the muggles as I approached so, armed with the helpful clue, I went in and made the find, signed and replaced it as quick as possible. I'd never actually walked down this end of the Opera House before so it was nice to be brought here. TFTC!
Ha... missed the peek. However, we did see someone in water gear come up the steps. Not sure what they were doing. The views are spectacular from here!
We found an opportunity to fly out to Sydney and stay with our friends, the delloro family. What an experience it was! We found several geocaches, but we also found a lot of history, culture, people driving on the "other" side of the road and new terminology. We found some nice side walks, umm...foot paths to take in the botanical gardens that were nice. We found some good "to go" food, I mean take away. We found an elevator, I mean "lift" in the QVB building area to help us on our journey. The list could go on on new terms we discovered. But, more importantly was the hospitality and the awesomeness of Australia. So much to see and do...all beautiful!
Most of our logs are signed as "TKG + S_G". Thenkengrene and Serenity_Girl.
Thanks to all the hiders, without you...there wouldn't be any finders!
This is my #7506th find. I found it today at 12:06:00 PM. Thank you 2qt2bstr818 for hiding it for me to find!

A busy location this evening but we sat down at GZ pretending to be waiting for sunset. The selfie video tactic was adopted and on playback the cache location was easily spotted making retrieval a doddle! TFTC

A to nezůstane ani jediná keš bez povšimnutí!

Out geocaching with thenkengrene and delloro. What a fantastic place to vacation! Thanks for the geocache!
Muggle central had to be stealthy, I pretended to chill out while Aza222 reached for the cache!! Nice hide! TFTC
Just two more nights in Australia *sniff* and then a 7 months sabbatical will come to an - all too early - end and it is back to Switzerland. I was very pleased though to find some new caches around the Sydney Opera House. So I first attempted this one. No seal in sight who could have distracted all the muggles, but eventually I managed to -hopefully unnoticed- grab the container. It took another while to put it back after logging, but people seem to concentrate on the opera house anyway.
Thanks heaps 2qt2bstr818 for the hide!

TFTC located cache didn't move as didn't have a pen with us, but noticed this sign nearby . Had a few dnf today so was pleased to find this one
Today we headed into the city, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.50 per head capped Opal Card fares, to have a look at some of the new Traditional & Earthcache placements, and to visit the waypoints of some other largish Multi/Mystery caches.
No luck for us with this one today, but we now see that the CO has visited and fixed the cache, which was obviously after we had been there. Spent quite a while searching, while trying to dodge the heavy security, and wondered why we couldn't find what was suppose to be an easy grab. A bit disappointing, but will have another go on our next city visit.

Went to check what could have happend with that list of DNFs to discover that the cache had fallen into a tube.
Replaced in it's location and it is again ready to be found.
Please, next cachers, leave it in the middle, not on top of the sign legs, as it could be dropped and it is hard to get it from there...

Boo. This was not on my downloaded pocket query so did not show up on my GPS. Had a great day walking around Sydney - logging caches at airport now. Hope it is not another 7 years before I return to this beautiful city...
Wow. Just as I had the cache in hand the maintenance crew turned up. Rather than risk the cache being removed I have taken the cache until this afternoon when I will bring it back. 4.30 is the time. Apologies for anyone missing the chance but better for the long term.
Thanks to the previous finder for the advice that the cache is temporarily missing - that explains my inability to lay a hand on it this morning - just as the maintenance crew disappeared...!
A quick search in the early dark hours of the morning and CIH. This could be very difficult in day light hours
Thanks for another cache
Thanks for another cache
Thankfully fairly muggle free this morning - but still needed a short wait before both retrieving and replacing until the coast was clear. No seal today sadly.

Thanks to Mrs Jaybeem!! and her clever fingers cache was eventually in hand. Tftc
Tftc. Took a while to find due to muggles and not searching high enough. Giggles1610 acted as decoy for retrieval and return.
Feeling a little under the weather today but wanting to keep my streak alive I decided a walk around the Opera House should make me feel better.
Sydney Seal wasn't around today but even with grey sky's the muggles were everywhere.
I grabbed the cache quickly as there weren't really that many options for a hide here but had to hold on to it for 15 minutes before having a safe window to replace it.
Great location for a cache, l really hope security don;t discover this one as quickly as they have discovered others in the past.

{FTF} joint Everest High. Was helping at cub scouts and on way home, I stopped at Woolloomooloo to sign a log and I got a message about a new cache at the Sydney Opera House. So I drove over and pumped into Everest High, we looked around for a bit and hit GZ a few times before finding the cache. Nice night not 2 many around! Cheers for the cache!
Had just found Opera House cache and collected data for the two Opera House Earthcaches when this new listing was published. As I walked towards it Morry9 came walking briskly up behind me in his Scout Leader uniform (must have got an early mark) . We looked around and eliminated lots of places and finally got CIH. Yes! A blank log sheet. Joint FTF at 9.45 pm. TFTC 2qt2bstr818
