Staying at the caravan park, we decided to go for a short walk to find the cache. Ha Ha Ha Ha. That was a MISSION!! But well worth the effort. Great photo opportunities. Cache found quickly. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Sometimes I think I have the best job in the world! Monday night and I was on a mission to hide a body, well that is what a training officer for the SES do. I wanted a place that would test the local unit's ability to setup a low angle rope system on their stretcher. I consulted the caching app and found I had not collected this one and it was up a "big hill".Armed with this information I set off and found the area to be perfect for what I needed, body was dropped and then I found the easy access track ... A quick story about the missing person having set out to collect this cache, a set of map coordinates (in MGRS) and we were off. Noting like a team of searchers to help find the cache, located quickly, signed and returned. Body collected with a job well done by the VICSES crew with a bonus happy face for me.
TFTC 10/05/24 needs some attention, container no longer there but log is. Put inside black conduit
Had to be a bit creative to retrieve the container when we saw something move in the location but soon had the log in hand TFTC
Bit of a hike to get up here but had a nice view to enjoy once I got there. The container is deteriorating rapidly so may need a replacement.
Great Cashe yet sadly a photo gave it away if your not looking for just a cashe this is the one, amazing view recommendation.

It felt like high time to get out caching again after a day off and I was itching for a bit of a drive and a cache out of town. I checked the map and the Wedderburn area looked inviting so away I scooted. I am hoping to find about eight or ten caches today.
A nice cache hide here and with tweezers the log was soon signed. Returning the container to its niche was a bit tricky and i may have made it harder for the next finder to retrieve. Tweezers strongly recommended!

200 meter slog up the hill got the heart pumping, cache was spotted from a distance.
The smallest cache we have ever found and our 4 year old was the one that found it. Go Ryder!!
Finding the cache was easy - retrieving the log to sign- that proved a little difficult.
TFTC and great views.
Cheers, HEYVJ

Our first Geocache find, nearly give up at one time, thought it may have been removed, but after reading some past comments we found it. Thanks to Team Campion.
Found very quickly but took a long time to get the log sheet out, had to resort to the tweezers. Signed the new log sheet and returned as found. that last section of road was rather steep. TFTC
Found with tassie expat after a short search. Gps was a bit iffy and we found the rolled up log on the ground. The log is full so we put a new one in. Tftc
frmen1 and I confidently took the x-trail up the hill and admired the views. We circled around a bit and frmen1 was the lucky finder. The log sheet was rolled up and on the ground. Signed in a small gap in the full log when we realised that we had a RITR replacement, just the right size. Popped it in and moved onto the next cache. Then realised that we had forgotten to sign the new log sheet. I have a photo of our signature on the old log if the CO wishes proof of our forgetful moment lol TFTC
Missed seeing an uphill, road so headed up through the bush to the tower. I’m en expert at making easy things much harder. My phone was all over the place so too a while to track down this devious cache. Used my stamp retuned the way I’d come to the geovehicle and couldn’t find my stamp Hopefully another cacher will head straight up and find it but I did make another return trip up and down that towering hill TFTC Tram Campion
Having a great time touring and tripping around Wedderburn. What a great place to visit and explore this wonderful country especially the history of the gold mining time. Thank you for placing this cache
Find #2554 for me. Found at 1:39 pm with my dog Bonnie while visiting the area from Bendigo. I parked at the bottom of the hill and walked up with the dog to get some good exercise. The first place I looked turned out to be empty, but then a closer inspection revealed the hide - very clever and impressive! I assume it was supposed to have a lid which was missing, but all was dry so I was able to add my name to the log-sheet. Thanks for bringing me here today Team Campion and thanks for another great cache!

Many thanks Team Campion for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
That was very tricky indeed. The hint helped. In fact I picked up the cache container more than once and didn’t have any joy. Got there in the end!

Yeah, that was a good one. After previous finder’s comments, it appears that cache has found it’s proper home again. Still missing lid though but ok. A favorite from me. Thanks!
Found it on the ground. There is no longer a lid. I placed it upside down in case it rains before the owner can replace it.
I'm sure its a good hide when placed in the right spot. Tftc.

I don't know if there is another way up to here but my 7metre motor home and the track I was on do not mix at all. Need to come back with a 4wd.
We had decided to spend the night at Wedderburn before heading to Melbourne and the ferry home tomorrow. As there are a few caches here that we have yet to find we decided to look for a couple. We left our 2WD Kia at the foot of the track up to the towers and walk up the hill.
After a short, steep stroll we arrived at the top where we startled a couple of high school students doing what teenagers do. After a smile and a hello we admired the view while they composed themselves. We had a short chat then left them to themselves. Fortunately the hide was well out of their sight.
When we arrived at a spot matching the hint we found the log container on the ground in the open. The lid was on and the log sheet was dry. After signing the log we looked round for the hide. We spotted an item that looked out of place. On closer inspection we spotted a place where the container would fit. We left it on the ground as we were not sure where it should have been.
Thanks for this cache Team Campion. You might like to check it and place it where you originally had it. Have a favourite point for a very thoughtful and appropriate construction.

So clever. Another fun find but definitely needed the hint . We decided to walk up and it was the right decision, our camper Andy would have hated it
Wow... that’s a all for an old woman. the breeze is delightful. The lid is cracking and breaking off so it might need some attention. Great cache. V clever.
Made a last minute decision to hitch up the GeoPod and take off for an overnight getaway to target some caches on some roads less travelled, and in particular to head towards the 2017 Wedderburn caches we have been intending to find for ages.
We managed to tow the GeoPod (Jpod) up here without any dramas. We remember being up here for a cache quite a few years ago now. This one was found after a couple of minutes searching. Very clever. TFTC Team Campion.

Found staying in St Arnaud for a week to attend the Mega Event, had a great time finding some quality caches around the area, this was one of them. I teamed up with My good Mate Rosstaman and Green Gecko from Brisbane. Well we had 29 caches left in a 35km radius so today once we picked up the letterbox's and a few around town we headed to Wedderburn to do a few out that way.
Thanks Team Campion for the cache.

Found while traveling to the St Arnaud mega with Dr Owl. We stopped to admire the spectacular sunset from this vantage point. Why do you always find the hard way to a cache and the easy way out.
Thanks for the cache Team Campion.
Thanks for the cache Team Campion.
An Owl and a Fish set off on a caching adventure to St Arnaud. As this decision was made too late to get good accommodation in the town, Wedderburn was chosen as their base of operations. After settling in and a huge meal at the pub, Owl set out to find the last few caches before her next milestone. This was a challenge as in the fading light the Fish directed Owl up a less-than-ideal track. A much easier one was used to exit GZ!
Caching day at St Arnaud for upcoming Mega Event. Found your cache. Thanks Team Campion for the fun and placing it.
With pwala and crank1 at St Arnaud Mega.
Today we drive the car "country" to see plenty farm and animals, with such lovely weather.
Signed the log Thanks for the cache and hide
Stayed at St Arnaud for Mega week and enjoyed with different caches Found your cache today. Team Campion, thank you so much for placing it.
Road was too steep and slippery so left car at bottom of hill and walked up. A real heart starter !! Found cache easily thank you Team Campion.
Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Team Campion (F=242 H=40) for the cache.

TFTC.We had left St Arnaud this morning heading for a recently published Breakfast event in Donald. We were traveling with Muff1 and were expecting a good day out caching. We were not disappointed.
WE had left Donald and made our way toward Wedderburn via some caches that Muff1 had not previously found. We were now in territory where both of us were in green territory.
We spotted this hide a lot quicker than we thought as we drove up to GZ. Eagle eyes.

What fantastic views from here, after checking them out we headed to GZ, while three of the group looked 'there' hubby looked elsewhere and was the one to find the cache. Only because I know his finding and pretending not to find look did I realised that he had found the cache. SL TFTC
Me wanderings around the towne took me to this little hill again
I rode the pushbike up here last time
Today I left the geomobile at the bottom of the hill and hoofed it up to take in the familiar views [^]

Found at 3:59 PM GAFF1.
We loved driving through this area and thought that some of the caches were in interesting locations.
However nearly all of them are in our opinion too lowly rated for D/T. For instance this one the D rating would be a 2.0 or even a 2.5 anywhere else.
Thanks Team Campion.

Ye Olde Geocaching Heape of Junke has made the ascent to this location on a number of occasions and again today it was upward ever upward.
I soon found the camo but no cache. Where was it? Ahhh, there it is.
I signed the log and off I went, not before admiring the view. The view from up here is awesome.

Added 2 swaps. Walked around and went on our way wasting time before picking the men up from their tractors. Thanks for the hide.
Suscoe had a big day out in the Wedderburn and surrounds area on this delightful Spring day.
50 finds from 50 caches, Whoo-hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
We enjoyed a very early start and saw lots of interesting countryside. Hilly tracks, bush, granite outcrops, lots of quartz, some old equipment, beaut gardens, buildings aplenty and even a solar array, what a great day to be out and about.
Thanks to Team Campion for this cache, a beaut view!!!!!!!!!!!

Bendigo to Wedderburn, retracing a few tracks from the past.
Often we struggle on micros after 4pm, luckily this one was fairly exposed and we had the strength to log our visit.
Thanks Team Campion for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Staying in Wedderburn o/n as we head towards St Arnaud for a CITO today we couldn't resist the only cache in town we haven't found. The tracks look like they have been recently graded making for a smoother sail to GZ.
Thanks Team Campion for the placement.

Find # 4318
Found with Mrs Tyred n Cranky
After having a look at the local Wedderburn Swap meet and hitting a Garage sale in town. We decided to go find a cache. This was the only one I have in the area. So it was a short list to choose from.
A bit of a bush bash and thankfully the track up was nice and solid.
After a couple of minutes on the hunt it was Mrs Tyred n Cranky that found the goods.
over time I think this is the 3rd cache I have found up here on this hill

A drive to Wedderburn to attend the Swap Meet, then discovered a Garage Sale in town, so we went for a look. Before heading for home we decided to go locate this cache as it was the only one in the area for us to find.
Have been up here a few times before for other cache hides which have all been archived, so we know the area well. Had a look around and came up with nothing, so Mrs Tyred n Cranky decided to go for a walk a bit further over and soon discovered the hide. Signed the log and replaced and now time to head back home.
