After a nice swim at the pools, I went for a quick drive around the block to grab this cache, all good here, cheers
Visiting beautiful Dunedin and its surrounds for the mega. Many city and country roads driven to search for caches and appreciate the many COs placing them for us to find.
While staying in Mosgiel, while attending the Dunedin Mega, we ventured out to do some caches. found the cache and signed the log. TfTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there were staying near Mosgiel for a the long weekend, so we can attend the Geo Toroa Event we had a spare day today so thought wed might as well go do some Geocaching this was a quick parkngrab, in between the odd bit of traffic using the road turned out to be an easy find were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,307 for us!
Great day for geocaching. Sunny not windy perfect temperature. Thanks for the cache!
Touched base in nearest saturation area close to the residence on the big hill. Walked over Friends Hill and plod out a few kilometers around North Taieri. Much safer than walking up Three Mile Hill. Previously in the area getting several FTF's on some micros, we hadn't been around the industrial area much and remember where the tavern was in Saunders rd, it had been a good club to have a quiet family meal thirty years ago. With so much redevelopment it's hard to recognize many old landmarks recalling where the whisky barrels were stacked in the distillery yard in Dukes rd. At least the aerodrome still works and we hear the gyrocopter flying around sometimes. A distinctive sound compared to all the helicopters that fly overhead. Road around the GZ is always busy, one stop was thwarted by mugglers on their mini motorbikes and abandoned. Returned with not too much traffic on the road and leapt the fence for a search. RRP at the place pronounced cache was here and 400ml dry box was in hand to sign the logbook. Some small swag in cache and the logbook was ok but baggy is ripped. The gel packs are doing their job at least. Returned cache to dry possie in the tussocks and popped back the camo. Nom nom nom Crevena, it's been awhile since we've had any venison but I think these backstraps will be a bit 'Jenny Craig lean'. *2nd Favorite Fan! Heart challenge **10pt 9th** trad **90pt***. TFTC

Quickly sorted the cache find and sign, then took a few pics to end back home to a work colleague who is into hunting, told him these deer are already roaring... he reckons they look stick thin, not worth shooting...

What a laugh the cache title and placement gave us. Some clever people around, the deer didn't seem hungary . Thanks for the cache W.E.K.A.
A fav from us.
A fav from us.
I have deerly departed Mosgiel today for Oamaru after locating and signing off this cache plus a couple of dot-day multis - only one was needed.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
After completing the Geo Art there was still a few hours of daylight left so I did a bit of leisurely caching in Mosgiel. Tracked it down as day fast turned to night. TFTC
Another quick find to finish our day off on our way back to our motorhome at showgrounds.
On a three week trip to the lower South Island with tmann421 hunting caches.
Enjoyed the trip around and the challenge of the finds.

Checked this cache again this morning and chatted with the gardeners.
One knew about it but not where it is, (she does now), and will tell the other gardener.

Trying to track down this cache and not having much luck when we here 'have you found it' called out from across the road. Turns out the CO was out for a bike ride and saw us hunting. A quick check confirmed the cache was missing and with a container from our car and the CO supplying the log book a replacement cache was soon put down. Thanks to the CO for all the help today. tftc
Came down this road by mistake on the way back to Dunedin from Outram and decided to check for caches before I turned around. This was a wee treat. Deer oh deer. TFTC.
Cache 506 Nice quick park and grab I keep telling myself just one more cache today just one more I don’t know if I’ll ever get back home to Invercargill tonight if I keep this up at this rate, cache is in excellent condition T4TC
Another one of those driven past multiple times without really noticing what's around ..... geokiddo might like the wildlife next time we're passing as long as I don't have to do too much explaining! TFTC #353
Awesome sculptures of deer in a field of daffodils. Pity our camera decided to throw a wobbly. I found the geocache easily while M was fooling about with it.
A very clever cache title that works on several levels.
Firstly, I thought it was a play relating to the nearby airfield.
Then, I thought it was a play on all that valuable and irreplaceable farmland in the area that is rapidly being destroyed to build houses on.
But nay, it was a play on the type of business where the cache is located.
Very clever indeed.
Thank you for this cache.
PS I do not recall seeing a trackable.

Checked the cache today and it is still in the usual place as described in the hint.
On our way home from a bissy two days .
With last appointment done we headed back to the big smoke.
It would be rude not to pick up a cache or two before we leave.
O deer o deer what do we have here.
It's not a john deere, or a deere farm not even a rain deer.
So we need to check this one out and yes it all makes sense now .
Dearie dearie me a great cache in a great location.
Thanks for the pick me up after a tough couple of days.
Thanks for the hide

Originally uncertain as to reason for the name of this cache - and then the reason for the spelling - all became clear as I approached the GZ.
No clientele around this afternoon and little passing traffic allowed me to count down and discount some hiding options.
A little poke around at a good vantage point and the cache was found.
Thanks once more W.E.K.A.

PS. Sorry, no Super Bee TB (https://coord.info/TB4X704) seen here.

Had a look for this one awhile back but could not find. Back today with the Garmin instead of the phone and it lead me straight to the right post. TFTC #2090
I had only even noticed the one deer here, so I was surprised to see two deer. An easy find for us early in the morning before too many people were out and about. TFTC
Today 4Clubs and I spent the day caching and this was our second find early in the morning. The deer are awesome, they looked great. TFTC
Spotted the artwork as we walked along. Cache was located about 6m away from posted coords but not too many places it could have been so all good. TFTC
I really enjoyed the play on words here. While I was searching the hint items up and down, then up and again, a couple a couple of boy racers went racing past. They need to be careful otherwise they'll end up here too. TFTC # 13,280
Out and about caching at the first day of Spring. Quick find once we looked at the right post (GPS was way out...). TFTC
A quick find on Wednesday as we were travelling past towards Dunedin. TFTC [^]
