Cache is missing and not going to replace it as I think it was not using a correct location anyway.
Will free the space for new ideas

21-May-18
I don’t think this is here anymore. Spent 30 mins looking as it’s my local cache.

We didn't have our caching eyes on Today as couldn't even spot the cache let alone get into it

The clues were spot on and it all made sense when I got there. A couple of issues though. The cache is full of ants at the moment, which is a minor problem, as the don't bite. The second issue is the screws. Some are not long enough to secure the cache. Might be worth checking. TFTC btw.

Tiny cute harmless ants have made this its home with raised from the wet, warm, 180degree views and free rent, really a dream home.
Previous finder left it tool not required as being finger tight, thanks 2qt2brstr818

My first find!

19-Feb-18
Wanting a cache to keep my streak going I came here today by public transport, which was not a good experience.
I walked down from Edgecliff Station and across Rushcutter's Bay Park to the oval. I could see the cache as I approached and also two groups of dog walking muggles so timed my approach until they passed GZ.
I had my own tool, two in fact because I didn't know what type and soon had CIH. There were three log rolls and I didn't know which to sign but chose one and put my name on that. Everything was replaced carefully colour matching things but one of the screws seems very loose and might need a CO check.

I walked back to Kings Cross Station.
I think its an easier walk to and from Edgecliffe.

Fresh from the first AFL X in Sydney we wandered down the hill and across the park to this tricky hide. Gorgeous oval in a lovely location. We had our own tool but liked the clever convenience of the provide implement. Did our thing then colour-matched and closed the box up. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Luckily arriving by bike I had both the required tool on me and the excuse to pull it out and play for a minute or two! Great little urban cache. I used to run around this oval training when I was a NSW AFL umpire. Cheers!

A great little urban cache. Fun added with mugglers added but got a break.

First cache in 2018, which will be my 10th year of geocaching. Even though I had a few years where I found less caches, I never stopped. Thanks for showing the place and telling the story to it.

I found it. It is difficult to be stelfy and I had never seen a tool like this. Definitely going on my wish list. I have to apologize because one of the screws fel and I have patted the grass longer then I was looking for the cache, but I cannot find it. Sorry from a clumsy Dutchy (put the tool back).

Really cool find on the way to the hostel. However all the scrolls were full so couldn't write our names. But great idea!

25-Nov-17
Great location, can be opened with the screws, so no tool necessary to open today! Tftc!

Beautiful lay arfternoon. Found tool and then a lap of the oval to allow an elderly gentleman time to vacate GZ. This had to be quick in and out. TFTC.

Found it! Unable to open as too many people around (including two sun bakers right behind the location). Lovely spot and walk. Thanks!

19 October 2017 @ 1:34 PM

Came out to do some work in the area. A cache at 150m from me? Walked over and spotted the tool and hide straight away. Luckily no muggles were there. Saw a TB but left it there for next finder.

stopped by while exploring the area...quickly had it open, the screw heads can be used as the tool. Picked up a tb and dropped one off that wanted to come to Australia. Nice area. tftc and adding to my days here. As always, dipped my gps GC for mileage from Vancouver, Canada.

Tftc, and the tool provided, as we didn’t read the description before we left the last cache and walked across. Apart from one muggle who was absorbed in his book and the occasional jogger, it was pretty quiet around here.

After my exciting time with the police at the Cross, I though this one would be uneventful. NO WAY.
When I went to retrieve the tool, I was stung by a very unfriendly wasp. There seems to be no reason that it was there unless it was on the hunt for spiders.
Anyway, then I had to wait for a muggle to leave a nearby bench, then for others to pass by with their various dogs. Just as well I am now retired and not in a particular hurry!
Anyway, once it was all clear, I quickly had cache in hand. TFTC

Sneaky spot. Nice find. TFTC!

15-Aug-17
I very much enjoy your "gadget caches" 2qt2bstr818! It was raining slightly as I fiddled with this one, and so there weren't a lot of muggles about. I enjoyed the film 'Babe' and raised an imaginary glass of wine in honour of Miss Piggy! Cheers and thank you!!

Lovely set up.
Easily found the tool and and the box containing the hide.
Lovely spot.

06-Aug-17
Came by this one twice before, both on relaxed sunny afternoons where muggles were enjoying the afternoon sun doing nothing in particular. Today I was replacing other caches in Elizabeth bay and had to walk through here. On the way up it was sunny and again there were people at the bench. But on the way back the sun was gone and so were the people. Great idea and camo, looks like it belongs. Interesting caches... Tftc!!

Another nice part of the city to make the furthest point of our walk. Something different for the hide too. Glad I read the description first.

Found it! Very close to our hotel and a nice easy find to start the day. tftc.

27-Jul-17
Took a short walk from the car around the bay to GZ, carried on to collect the tool then returned to GZ to use it.

A cute, interactive cache on a beautiful oval

25-Jul-17
What a fun find! We managed with fingers only and used the pram for a bit of subterfuge:)

25-Jul-17
I found this today during an early morning walk. I didn't have the required tool with me so I used the one provided. No problems opening the container and very few muggles at 8am. Tftc!

25-Jul-17
Loved the tool aspect!

22-Jul-17
Got the tool, found the cache but there were 2 muggles sitting on the seats enoying the sunny winter day doing nothing in particular and rather observing the area and thinking. Rats. Just what I don't want. I'll come back here when It's a bit quieter and I'll bring a pen too.

21-Jul-17
Out for a mid morning jog to check up on a nearby cache which I was the last finder. Unfortunately it has been lost/removed/muggled, made a note and PM the CO. Anyway back to this one, was a lovely morning and very few muggles about which made for an easy retrieval of the tool and also the log roll in a familiar container. I did play out some stretching moves to advert any wondering eyes. TFTC 2qt2 another excellent one and history lesson. #383

19-Jul-17
Nice cache but quite difficult trying not to look suspicious! Thankfully I had a big backpack that I could use to hide what I was up to. Great camo. TFTC

Took a slight deviation from my normal route home from work this afternoon, going via Rushcutters Bay and Point Piper, to grab the next waypoint of a world wide multi-cache and to also have a look at a few Traditionals in the area. This was the 1st of 3 finds, and 1 waypoint, for the afternoon.

After collecting the world multi waypoint info this one was next on my list. Parked the geomobile in New Beach Road and then headed off across the park toward GZ.

Spotted something interesting on arrival that required further investigation and, after application of my own handy tool, soon had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found, again with the aid of my own tool from the geobag. TFTC 2qt2bstr818.

8/7/17. 7:34 AM. Cache #5185.
1st of 5 early morning around the city - Rushcutters Bay, Surry Hills.

I recognised this as the same park where b@w and I had FTF'd 2qt's "Rushcutters Bay" back on 31/03.

Made my way around to the tool WP and - it wasn't there! Damn, now what do I do? I went to GZ and fortunately I was able to get to the log using fingers alone. Signed and replaced; it should still be able to be found by fingers until someone tightens it too much.

Now off to finish the morning with some artfully dodgy nanos, beginning with "Old Sydney Date Palm". TFTC.

Misspalot helps me keep my caching streak alive. A whole 11 days. Lol! This was a neat construction and well camoflauged tool. I enjoyed the cache description. Thanks for the cache 2qt2bstr818.

06-Jul-17
Keeping that streak alive, we walked here with our muggle friend whereby raindoctor got the tool and let me do the honours while a guy did laps of the oval Smile

Found it in such a nice day! Quickly grab the equipment and got the cache! One screw was missing and I couldn't tight the top right one properly (I tried my best and there was one guy sitting besides so I didn't want to spend too much time). Sorry about that:( Thanks for hiding this cache here!

Love this. Found the tool quickly enough. Found the cache quickly enough. But had muggles near by so had to wait. But wait i did. Then soon enough had CIH. Signing done and another crossed off the list. Tftc

Early on a beautiful Sunday morning, frazeydaze and I set off to tackle three of 2qt2bsr818's caches, complete with a backpack containing a two litre milk container filled with water, screwdriver, pliers, a wrench, a cut down 600ml water bottle and various other safe breaking tools that we could possibly need during the mornings endeavours. We considered an early Sunday morning the best time as there would be fewer muggles. After completing the Rushcutters Bay cache we headed around to this side of the oval and again frazeydaze soon had the cache in her sights; I having grabbed the necessary tool to undo the lid on the way, even though I had the tool in the backpack. Whilst completing the signing duties on a nearby bench we were surprised when a couple of young chaps turned up and sat at an adjacent bench, complete with enough alcohol and a bag of ice (the water type) to last them well into the night. Fortunately they showed little interest in us and the old tying up the shoe laces trick was brought into play. Thanks again for a fun an interesting cache 2qt2bsr818.

25-Jun-17
After finding Rushcutters Bay cache, oldmorty and I headed off around to the other side of Rushcutters Bay Oval to find this cache. Oldmorty located the tool needed to unscrew the screws and I located GZ. We retrieved the cache, sat on a nearby bench and signed the log. It took a little while to replace the cache as a couple of guys turned up, sat down on another bench close by with a bag of ice and a bottle of something. They looked set for the day and didn't appear to notice us. Just as a precaution, oldmorty pretended to do his shoe-lace up. Thanks for a wonderful morning 2qt2bstr818, it's nice to see something different. (PS. we could only find 3 screws to unscrew)

24-Jun-17
Tftc. Almost didn't find the tool but thanks to the hawk eyes of my companion the day was saved

Great cache in an amazing location!!

Lived near here for 7 years now and had no clue about the rich piggy history Smile

One thing - while I'm pretty sure I had the waypoint location found, could not locate your tool - maybe it's gone?

Luckily I had one with me so managed to log.

Thanks again and great caching Smile

Finally I am in Australia and how can I miss caching in Sydney. My schedule was rather pack and I have to do caching at night. This makes it more challenging. Fortunately with the hints I have no difficulties finding it. With hindsight, this could only be done at night to avoid muggles. This is my first ever find of this kind. Great experience. There is even a "guardian" overseeing the tool. Next cacher please watch. I don't think you want to disturb it when retrieving. Greeting from Hong Kong and TFTC!
