I'm unable to check it because I moved. It's time to head out. Thank you for finding my cache in the past. Lava
Wow what a work out! TFTC , TN, Left a little rubber dinosaur for someone. What a view!!
Time for one more cache whilst in the Flagstaff Hill area (just finished Goldy’s Adventure Lab), and there was time for one more trad in the fading sunlight. What a great spot, awesome views, and the contours to this one aren’t too challenging. A standard Lava12 style cache, only this one is larger! Favourite cache of the day, thanks Lava12.
Spot on coordinates led to a quick find of this one, didn't need much effort searching once close to GZ.-----SL-----TNLN-----TFTC
Found after attending the Catchup at Flaggy event at the Flagstaff Hill Baker's Pantry. Thanks for the cache Lava12!
I had headed to Sturt Gorge for a wander. I had walked along the gorge and had a lot of fun rock hopping at various points. However I was unable to continue much further without getting very wet as the water level was up. As a result I climbed out of the gorge and walked along the top track. My route took me close to this cache so I walked uphill towards GZ. Luckily a nice quick find. I also dropped a TB here. TFTC Lava12
Nothing like some star light during the day. Our star was certainly visible in its magnificent glory today.
Thanks Lava12 and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

A busy week for our team as we come to the south of town to work on a theatre production with SA Light Opera (oops, a shameless plug, find us on fluffbook!) , but there's always a time for a cache in between things! And here we are at yours...
A nice little track, once you find your way through the winding streets to get to it !!!
Cool container holder too.

Caches everywhere up or down are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck and groping!

Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
slippery steps with broken grips, collapsible ladders...
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

When I saw this unfounded cache on my map i couldn't believe it. Surely I haven't missed a local one for this long? I took the dog for a walk to find it and didn't take to long to locate it once at GZ. I checked through the logbook to indeed find that I hadn't previously found it, so I duly signed the log and returned it. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found It!
A quick find here while walking down the hill to some puzzle caches!

Started the day with bronze at a brand new traditional over West Beach way.
Found four more newish trads on the way south and found myself at Flinders Uni. Eventually found a park and spent some time walking around to get the 3 trads there.
Headed further south to Flagstaff Hill and found 7 more trads before it was time to head home.
Thanks Lava12 for putting this one here

I started 2020 with some improbable caching goals that only lasted until mid February.
Then came Covid-19 and now caching will have to take a back seat or be socially responsible.
No more than one or two people and target caches that haven't been visited in some time.
So today it was just Anymules and me going for long walks in Sturt Gorge and surrounds getting caches nobody has visited for a while.
Time for the first walk for the day down Starlight just to get this cache. [^] A quick find once we got to GZ. Now where. [?][?] Nothing to make a loop trail here so back to the car and onto another trail.
***Thanks Lava12 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Today was one of those days of extreme heat, and gusty winds. Going hiking seemed like an absurd idea, but everyone at work was leaving early (one of those unofficial last days before Christmas), and I didn't want to give up an evening with so much daylight to just sit around home. with an unknown cache type required for today's calendar day, I thought I would head towards Flagstaff Hill and Sturt Gorge for a small cluster of geocaches to visit. When I started walking, I was delighted that a slight cool change had occurred with some nice breezes in the area. It was mostly a solo jog / trail run as I used the session as a form of exercise. I really enjoyed walking along the river and various rock formations that decorated Sturt River - Another one of Adelaide's secret gems I think.
I parked my car just near the start of the Starlight Track, and made y way down the steep track. It was then a short departure to reach GZ. I always love the CO’s professional cache holders, of which this was one of them! Logbook signed, but not sure if the location has been compromised, as there appears to be an unofficial log in the logbook? Otherwise, everything else like the container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lava12 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A Favourite Point from me for your attention to these cache holders you seem to have around the place!

Found after a nice hike in the gorge. Water was thundering today. Thanks for the hide.
Fantastic hike up Starlight Track from Gorelon Track with geodog, certainly got the leg muscles screaming !!
Great place for a cache, thanks Lava12

Mr Tardis went for a nice walk this afternoon, enjoyed the views and found this cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
The cache holder needs a new zip tie to fasten it to the tree.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Lava12.

Parked up the top of the track and walked down to this one, a well constructed hide and cache container in it. Cache was stamped and replaced.
On the way up to blackwood this afternoon to do some baby sitting for some family friends, since I had a few hours spare in the afternoon I decided I would go somewhere different and collect a few caches. Decided to go up around flagstaff hill and surrounds. All together 13 finds for the day with 2 DNFs along the way.
All the caches that we’re found were in good condition.
Thanks to the cache owners for their placements

Out with the dog to get a few caches in the gorge.
A short walk down was easy but coming back up got the heat started.
Nice work with the placement but would we expect anything less from the House Of Lava?

Had been working nearby, and it was lunchtime. With a few minutes to spare, I decided that this cache was the target. With a work location so close, most of the caches in the area have been found. So, drove to the area and parked nearby, and wandered down the track to GZ and spotted the cache as soon as I left the track. Gotta love that. Extracted log signed and replaced. Now back to the office after a lovely walk.

Well that would have been easier to approach from above...but at least i got some high impact exercise! Quick find at gz. All in good condition. Tftc
Out for an evening walk with my muggle friend. Could have taken the fire road but decided to come up the hard way from the track below which was much steeper than first thought. The black and white looked like a magpie at first ha ha ha but no that was indeed the cache.

Wanting a cache find for the day I decided to head out in this direction in search of a find. After navigating my way through the twists and turns of the Flagstaff hill back streets I parked at an easy access location. After a short pleasant stroll down the fire track I ventured into the bushland and before long I was at gz. A short search turned p the desired cache and with the log signed I was on my way back to the car. Half way back up the fire track I stopped to take a photo of the view before heading home.

As it was another lovely day I decided to go out and get a few stray caches and this was the first one. [^]
Had a nice little walk down the track and was very pleased I didn't have to go much further, it gets very steep.
Found the cache and thankfully didn't find any slithery things on this warm day.
Thanks for the cache Lava12.

Strolled down the Starlight track on a starlit night with the geowife and the geodog to find this cache. A quick find thanks to accurate coords and another well crafted Lava cache. Signed log and then admired the twinkling lights of the city from the track. A great spot for a cache - thanks Lava for bringing us here.! (Retrieved TB too)
A quick stroll in from the road to find this cache. Great views from up here. Nice spot for a cache.
Took a TB and left another.

Lived in the area for over30 years and not known these wonderful walking tracks until starting to goecache. Thanks for getting me out and about.
Daylight stroll on the starlight track. The trek was good and the views are awesome. Well done on a neat hide.
Woo hoo, pristine log ... Well except for a strange team, Postal girl and Murtle or something like that. ;D
Silver for the armored one.
Thanks for the walk, I would have taken a pic but rain obscured the view, it would be quite speccy on a clear day.

What do you do when a new cache is published 1km away, while on way to the shops? Detour to the cache of course!
Another walking track in the Sturt Gorge found by Lava. Think we been down this one before for another cache a longtime ago.
A quick find of a securely anchored cache from the shed of Mr Lava?
Geokid#3 swapped a weird ball thing for an eraser.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin in for a visit too.
Thanks and Lava Nirvana is restored...

bronze for me. A early start and a early finish wasn't good enough the see me get any higher on the ladder today. Still always good to have a short stroll in the bush and the view on route to gz was cloud free. accurate co ords let to a quick find.
A nice walk and quick find on my way home from work to be the fourth finder so far today. TFTC Lava
