I'm heading back towards Melbourne now and just slowly heading along picking up ad labs ,virtuals and earth cases as you never have any muggle problems with them and also attempting anything else that is close by.This is another cache that just happened to pop up on the map so Ithought I have a try at it.Using Google was not very successful as it took me to a totally wrong place but once we got the Google Earth map I found the right way in and not long after arriving at gz I found the container which has certainly seen better days but the logbook was still dry and we were able to add our name to it before turning everything as it was. Many thanks for showing us this interesting location.
Find number 14466 at 8:33:45am on Monday the 14 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we headed off from Kalgoorlie and across the Nullarbor not quite sure where we'd get to, finished up in a free camp just past Cocklebiddy.A quick find here before going next door to play the Nullarbor Links hole (the second last for the course).**Thanks for placing this cache therogershow**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
We came for a walk to have a look at the lake after parking near the golf course. It did look quite silvery this morning. We are having a day in the area having driven down this morning from Kalgoorlie. Log sign and return. We were grateful for the white rock! Thanks therogershowDomsky
Found with e.gregory1 at the start of a trip to WA for a few weeks. Spent an hour or so caching around Kambalda mid-morning before heading up to Kalgoorlie for a late lunch. Thanks for the cache therogershow!
On the way to Adelaide mega.Sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day four travelling from Norseman to Coolgardie via Kalgoorlie on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. There are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.I trucked on across the beautiful scenery grabbing many caches. After 3 incidents the day before, 800km and 13hrs on the road my third incident was the motel had booked me on the wrong night. Thankfully i was able to get the last room at the pub at about 1930. Grabbed a pizza and a couple of drinks and up to my room.It was a nice cool beautiful morning and i knew i only had about 250 kms driving so i was happy.I grabbed the caches around Norsemen and did some sightseeing as well before heading to Kal via Kambalda..This cache was very quick to find and there were lots of swans on the water as well. Thanks for the cache the ogreshow
Full time Nomads since March 2014, in WA to visit family.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash. Today we moved our caravan from Kalgoorlie to Kambalda. Set up in the RV camp then headed on out to attempt the local caches. We found this one in good order today.

Happy to get this one logged. I have added a screw top metal container to the cache for longevity.

Day 5 of our road trip/ camping adventure. Many packed up and left this morning but N2O and I are here for another day of caching around Kalgoorlie. Planning a busy day to grab local caches after an epic couple of days out at Victoria Springs.
I found your cache therogershow which added to my adventures. Thanks for placing it. Your cache makes my 6185 find.
The hint was very helpful here

On a big year-long road trip around WA, stopped in Kambalda to play two holes of the Nullarbor Links golf game - including the Silver Lake hole. Dropped by the signposted BP Dam and quickly located the rocks mentioned in the hint, took a few more minutes before finding the now very battered and almost flattened cache. Left a lucky Chinese Feng Shui coin. TFTC
Start of our geocache journey. Got distracted by another POI nearby. But good trinkets inside
Staying in Kalgoorlie for a few days, we visited Kambalda on our way back to camp… This cache was our first stop in town & gotta admit that we made it way harder than it should have been lol

Travelling the wheatbelt with richlink using geocaching as our guide. Love being in these more remote locations. Thanks for bringing us here
Out and about with ILT caching rural towns and dusty tracks - our kind of caching. Thanks for enticing us to visit this spot.
Thanks therogershow for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces in the remote areas on WA.
On a neat little trip coinciding with some work requirements, so short and sweet but well worth it!

Heading in to Kalgoorlie, we cached out the town by fading light and then torchlight.
Always enjoy a visit to Kal, a unique and interesting place. Thanks for the hide.

We are travelling from Portland Victoria across to WA to see our daughter.
We are stranded in Kal for a few day as we are the victims of what we have now learned was unleaded petrol being added to the diesel tanks at Eucla. Many vehicles broke down across the Nullabor and we were one of the early ones.
This is our fifth day in Kal and we headed out caching along ANZAC Drive and then took the hire car to Kambalda. A great variety of caches for the day and all in pretty good condition. What a great spot - it would be pretty spectacular when the water is flowing.
Thanks for showing us this part of the world therogershow

The container has been completely crushed by the weight of the rock on top of it. Full to the brim but the lid will not fit on so it is at risk when the rains come. TFTC
Found it. TFTC. Well, what’s the saying “I didn’t leave any stone unturned” well it felt like that. My GPS was not helping much, it was all over the place. Got it in the end. Thanks for bringing me here.
Did not find, there are many what stones around unfortunately not a find today will have to look when we have more time.
My son and I found it today. He had fun treasure hunting. Was so excited when we found it. Sadly no pen to sigh our name.
Thought it would be a quick easy find but GPS bouncing around and so many places to hide it was a challenge. Lucky we had time and got the find. TFTC
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Fraser Range Station to Kalgoorlie
.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Connor Brooke & Goldfields Care' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with '230517 SECRET YABBY GEOCACHE' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Well that was a bit of a mission but ended up finding it exactly 3m from the car. 1yo Geoson enjoyed scrambling up and down the rocks, making my heart stop, and also enjoyed looking at the swag once we found it. Placed a few hint items closer to cache to assist next finder. TFTC
