So much to do and so little time. Armed with a short list, I headed out to start ticking everything off. First up was getting a cache and as this one sat out by itself, it was the targeted one for today. Only one vehicle in sight upon approach and he soon turned off to a shed out of sight. Cache was found, log signed and all replaced quickly. Time to head off to get some more items sorted. tftc
#16022. Parking was a bit dodgy so I stayed in the car and Troodles did the searching. Eventually, I had to join in the search, and soon found the cache. Nice views from GZ. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on day one of our long weekend visit to Nelson.
Well, this was embarrassing - I must have dislodged the cache while searching without noticing it and it took a look from SW to find it. The lambs were sooooo cute in the neighbouring paddock. TFTC.

Yay our geocaching visitor found it! Perseverance the key! Nice place to go for a bike ride
Thank you Lyn and Jerry for a very enjoyable day geocaching
Arrived at GZ, the log book was soon signed and onto the next cache
Thank you Evschnz for the cache

Poor old Jeff is no more. As we were taking the grandchildren home we stopped off here for a quick find. Thanks Evschnz for the cache
I made the find here today, there were lots of sheep and lambs baaing to each other on the hill. tftc
I missed out on meeting Jeff, but pleased to make the acquaintance of his feet today. A quick and easy find as I parked nearby, no one else around today, and replaced as found. T F T C Evschnz
A trip over the hill has been planned for a couple of weeks now, and the threatened rain was not to dampen my spirits, nor curtail my caching options. Should probably have built an ark but the Civic coped admirably with the downpour and damp roads. The thing is with rain, once you're wet, you can't get any wetter, or so I thought. Have just about dried out now, many hours later! Just the 2 DNFs for the day and a pleasing 18 finds so pleased with that number

Familiar spot...work and play.
Kept an eye on the sheep movers below, then returned as found.
Thanks a lot.

Paddle chick picked me up after work to go and get a quick cache Thanks for the cache Evschnz
As we drove here i suggested that Nanzie check her phone for other caches out this way as I've driven this road before. Or maybe not this is where I stopped last time. Then I read the description. Thanks for the cache evschnz

Alas, poor Jeff! You once stood so tall and now you are but just a fraction of your former self. I'm sure they had their reasons.
I had mine too today and having navigated a nearby jack russell with a death-wish, pulled up by the GZ and was pleased to find the cache in the first place I looked.
Thanks for another nice hide and three from three of the CO's this lunchtime.

I normally try to go in a different direction each day but I have a very special reason for keeping that cache for tomorrow which means I am back out here again for another of your caches today. I'm sorry to admit not remembering Jeff's cache until I arrived on site and then I remembered the cache and a chance encounter with another cacher at the time. Very pleased to be able to return today thanks Evschnz. The significance of the cache name totally went over my head on the first visit but today I got it - derrr! TFTC # 10,685
Aw I remember Jeff fondly as I remember what a nice little valley this is. Great views all around, thanks very much
Out for a morning drive with Ms M to collect a few of the new caches.
A familiar spot.

I thought I would have to spend today in doors given the weather forecast. Nice to see it was wrong and a bike ride with Kiwi Grandad became an option. Thanks to this new cache we included some uphill in an otherwise flat circuit. Quick find here. I felt a bit sorry for the tree.
Thanks Evschnz for the cache.

FTF With Holymu. I had just past the immidiate vicinity of GZ when the publication came through. It was past the point of return and breakfast beckoned. Then on a recheck of the cache page the usual suspects hadn't logged yet and the spur of the moment decision was made. To our surprise we found a blank log. Although present the woollie muggles were detained otherwise in the form of some freshly fed out hay. Took TB. Thank you Evschnz
FTF with Hazedarus.
I remember your first cache here so we didn't need the GPS but did have our phones as back up, although in the end they weren't needed either.
The quick find was made by Hazedarus while I tried a more difficult approach. Took TB.
Thank you Evschnz.

A familiar spot from a previous find here. Unfortunately commitments in town prevented me from racing out here when the cache was first published. Drove out here after I'd done what needed to be done to quickly find the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Why does that happen - - - you hide a cache and then suddenly after years of nothing happening a road gets widened, some serious gardening is undertaken - - - or a tree gets chopped down. Still it's always a great excuse for a brand new cache. This road has been very busy this morning - - - the locals will soon be demanding traffic lights . TFTC .
3TF. Had seen this published this morning but was doing a few jobs in Nelson that needed done. Had a check at 1030 when in Stoke and still nobody logged so thought would head out and make the find. Plenty of visitors though already . Still counts as a FDF though . Thanks for the cache.
This was planned to be the third cache we looked for in a midday break - until we realised that somehow Stumpy was not on the GPS. So we sidestepped to find this one while Mrs Sobad used the miracles of new technology to find the coordinates for Stumpy. We had found Jeff before so knew where to go, and where to turn.
Thanks.
Thanks.
