Felt like I moved every single rock and leaf in the area but no luck. A man even stopped to help for about 15 minutes but no luck. I'm hoping someone else will find it so I can come and have another crack.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 103. Proserpine Day 1. I went for a day trip to Cannonvale and Airlie beach today. The area has some amazing coastal regions and the crowds reflect that. I can see now where some of all these travelers I am seeing are going. There seems to plenty of water based activities to get involved in. I stuck to caching today, and it was a bit up and down. I met a group of new cachers at a few and they seemed to be having fun as well.
It was fun scrambling around the rocks. So many nooks and hidey holes, but I did not find it today.
Thanks.

Found in the last place we looked . Last stop on our day trip to Airlie Beach. TFTC!
A lovely little stroll to grab this cache, found lots of interesting coral along the way. TFTC
Came up to get out of the cold Victorian weather and to do a road trip from Rockhampton to Townsville with the family checking out the sights and grabbing random caches along the way.
Stamped log.
Thanks for the cache.

What a mission. $35 to hire scooters each to get here. Stashed them in the bushes while we searched. Found w a Rach. Tftc.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Blain-Fam

We have driven south today, to explore this area.
15 minutes ago it was raining, and now the sun is out and the water looks amazing at GZ.
The island across the way looks great and at this tide you could walk to it. We walked along the Rocky Shore to GZ, and soon this one was signed.
Thanks Blain-Fam. A lovely spot.

Wow that was a whirl wind! We found the original log first, scurried around further for the cache we had seen in recent find posts.

It was a lovely wander out from the parking area to the point. We speculated on what had happened to the wreck that was in the area on our last visit. Obviously gone!
On arrival at GZ we soon Found log sheets in a likely hiding spot where the GPS had us on “0”! No sign of a clear container with a green top so we kept looking. Then we found a black film cannister very close by secreted behind a rock with a log sheet in it. We signed it, but kept looking for the cache the CO had just put out. We finally found the clear plastic container with a green lid and a TB a bit further away. After signing all 3 logs, we took the TB and re-hid the cache containers-all within a few metres off “0”!
Our final day in Airlie Beach and time to finish caching the area closest to our caravan park. Another beautiful day in paradise! Only a few to find and then sadly we will be on our way further north.
Thank you to the local COs for placing and maintaining the caches for us to find.

Cache has been replaced. It is now a clear plastic container with green lid. A trackable picked up in Tassie and wanting to visit beaches has been dropped off. Please replace the cache as you found it to avoid it being muggled. Cheers Blain-Fam.
This cache will be replaced very soon. Hopefully the container lasts longer this time. Cheers
TFTC, we found the log book but we did not find the container, we maged to sign the pieces of paper that was the log book. Stunning views.
The cache container is missing and the logbook is water damaged and needs replacing.
TFTC Blain-Fam! Found the logbook removed from cache and no sign of the container. Will submit photo as evidence.
We've moved our caravan from Mackay to Bowen, and are looking forward to finding all the caches in the local area. Today we thought it would be nice to take a day trip to Airlie Beach.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape. (We replaced the soggy log).
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Luckily our balance is ok the trees helped! Baffled log won’t ink! Wet but thanks for the fun
Nice find. Log very soggy managed to sign with stamp but wouldn't be able to sign with a pen.
Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, Airlie Beach. Today, we took a lovely walk along the waterfront, and found ourselves within reachable distance of this cache.
So, after sifting through the course sand, stumbling over some stationary rocks, on the lookout all the time for those lizards with big teeth, we arrived at what was definitely potentially GZ. After a good look around in all the obvious places, we decided that the magic pigeon had flown the coop, and potentially taken the cache with it.
Not saying it was not there, just that we could not find it. Instead, we marveled at the view. Thanks for bringing us here Blain-Fam

Day eight of our northern trip: third and final around Mackay. Out and about with hatzofff, Snickersallan, Grannysmith1947 and Youngoldfella.
After a little time searching and moving rocks we eventually uncovered the hide. Great walk along the Shelly beach.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on December 5, 2020. TFTC, Blain-Fam

Nice walk on the beach at low tide. Quick find. Well concealed. All good. TFTC
After all the strolling around pathways and boardwalks today,
this cache was a pleasant diversion off track
With the tide heading out,
getting to GZ and back was feet dry
A scratch around the rocks,
revealed the cache eventually

Found fairly easily, hint helped, lots of great hidey holes though. Timed it perfect for a walk to the island too. Shame the island one mentioned in notes isn't on map anymore.
Took awhile, gps about 5m off, just kept looking and bingo! Then sat on large rocks awhile to enjoy view and breeze
Bikes from Airlie Beach caching as we went ...this is the end of the walkway and some ...loved the outlook TFTC
A wow factor at this location so after we took in the view it was a short search for the cache. Bit smaller than we expected but in a logical spot. Thanks and fav point
We arrived in Airlie Beach around lunch time and decided to see a bit of the place while finding some caches. We searched around for a bit before reading a couple of previous logs and then made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Unicorns are magical creatures. You don’t see many of them on the Disc. They mostly live in the realm of the Elves. Mostly they are evil stinking things. John and Keel are different. They’re like the Unicorn version of Carrot.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Found on the last day of our Queensland holiday before flying back home to Vic. Thought I better at least get one cache before leaving. Took a while to find this one! My pen which had been working half an hour earlier magically died, but I will send photos to the CO for confirmation. Thanks for an awesome cache!
What an awesome day for an adventure, out and about caching with BenM70 and greencordial. A bit of caching before dinner... lucky it wasn’t too muddy in our dinner clothes. Cache located quite quickly and in good repair... TFTC Blain-Fam
A bit interesting getting down the hill. Only nearly went bottom up a few times. Lucky that ESCO was able to get the cache quickly. looks like a local hangout for kids to smoke. Next cacher to visit - if you have time can you bring a plastic bag to clean up.
Such a beautiful place very romantic!! Old school cache container I love it! Thanks for my 100th cache

Out and about with Mornington and enjoying the weather and the Airlie beach atmosphere.
Down the beach and up the shore,
But don’t forget the tidal law.
Watch out for stingers and for crocs,
The cache is hidden in the rocks.

Coming to the end of of cruise from Singapore, nibletricecakes and I decided to wander this port stop and collect as many caches as we could. We caught a cab from the port to the furthest most spot we though we could wander back from and started our hunt. TFTC.
First find in Airlie!! And a new county! A nice sea breeze helping take the edge off the heat. TFTC

In port today with the Carnival Splendor, on it’s maiden voyage from Singapore to Sydney. Rather than take a tour K8TYBEE and I decided to tackle the local caches along the beach, bay and creek. Both coming down with tonsilitis, it was a long and hot walk, but we were rewarded with magnificent views and a real sense of the town. Thanks to everyone who planted and maintains these caches so we can have a fun day out like this!!

Searched a while and then used the brain for a quick find. When you get there, just stop and look. Don't overthink it. T4T$
Dies ist mein 2. Australischer Cache! Vielen Dank fürs legen und Pflegen! LG aus Dresden
While staying in Bowen we opted for a drive to beautiful Airlie Beach and enjoyed a great day caching in this tropical paradise
A short walk along the beach at low tide soon had this one in hand.
Many thanks for the hide Blain-Fam

The muggle family were eager to hit the lagoon for an afternoon swim and were happy for me to go grab a couple of caches. So off they went and I made my way to this cache.
It was an enjoyable stroll to GZ and it didn't take long to find the beasty. While signing the log I took in the views and then replaced the container as it had been found.
I see the Whitsunday Magic wreck has been removed!
Thanks for the cache Blain-Fam
