Having been here a couple of times, I thought I'd return to see if I could remember where it was. Went to the right area and had a look around but couldn't find it. In the past it was easy to spot but now I think it has gone.

The whole area looks as though a herd of elephants had been through, yet still no sign of the cache. I recommend that the cache be archived, unless another previous finder can find it.

Also spent about an hour here Saturday Afternoon but to no avail. Searched around every tree within cooee of co-ords.

Please let us know if still there and we'll have another go but that's 3 no finds.

Nice spot though, from D,S & H B-A

Looked and looked and looked and looked (over 2hrs on 3 different days). Sure I saw the tree pictured below. Looks like others have been looking also. Have the muggles taken it[?] Who knows. Saw some Mt Bikers practicing the first day nearby.

Thanks all the same.

PS Can any one else verify my suspicions.

Our one last try before the light faded away. This should have been number eleven with Team Crackers on our day out.

Firstly we were kicked out of the park by the Ranger. Then we discovered we didn't need to be in there anyway. (Don't assume) Follow the clues and you shall find the way (but not the cache).

We looked high, we looked low. We kicked & prodded but to no avail.

"If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you"

We shall return.

The GPS was all over the place on this one, but Joe's keen eyes found it. The mozzies got really bad once I stopped to write in the log book. BTW, we really like the colourful first few pages.

Left shell and took fossil,

Thanks Daniel, Jordan, Charlotte, Kate & Tony

Went on the Saturday with a friend and arrived here at about 2pm it was raining a bit. The GPS took me right to the spot. Nice easy one to find. Any yes you right the lid is hard to take off Big Grin . I wasn't going to do a swap as there was nothing I wanted. Someone left an empty CD case. It wasn't till we reached the car that I realised I had left 2 Chinese soup spoons [8)] . Thank you for the cache.

Found at 5:50pm in a nice secluded spot. Last for the day and a really good way to finish - easy. Thanks. I took a fire engine clippon and left a golf ball (too keep the other one company).

Found at around 5.30pm on the way home from my nephews 5th Birthday Party, a good way to end the day. no exchange was made.

This is my second only ever cache that Ive found and it is in a favorite part of the world the dandenongs. This is such a nice area. I had to look around for a while I think because there were lots of trees and also it was cloudy but I found it eventully and was glad to find it. Thanks

Found by Mary & David at 1615. This one we liked - almost drive-through! A short walk from the road, an even shorter search when we reached GZ, and there it was. Took the Team Frogger Bookmark Card and left the flashing fire engine badge from ''Otways Hard One'' (pity the batteries are flat though) and the trilobite fossil from ''Peninsula Gateway''. Lots of memories around Monbulk for Mary, as her paternal grandparents lived there for many years, and there are still relations in the area. Thanks to the Brierleys.

Found without difficulty.

Despite the tree cover, my GPS lead me straight to the cache. Others in the log book had difficulty, as have I in the past, but occasionally everyone has to have a bit of luck I guess.

I intended swapping a photo frame for the LEDs but unfortunately, it was about 10mm too long. (There goes my luck already). No swap made as a result.

Its a beautiful area and it was a lovely day for a walk in the bush. My thanks to the Brierley's.

Tree cover had the etrex take us round in circles a couple of times, but cache was soon found by the Junior member of Team Frogger, who was also very excited to find the Rubic's Cube, and exchanged it for frog card and bookmark.

This was the easiest cache I have yet found. It was only 25meters from the road as we drove by so we found it in less that 5 minutes from parking the car. Did not take anything as we had forgoten to bring something with us.

Found 11:55. Had lunch at the nearby picnic area, and made mental note to return when the weather is a little more pleasant.

Took plastic praying mantis and left Rubic's cube clone.

Nice area, but was raining very heavy when we visited. Excellent container for a cache.

Found this one easily although the trees played havoc with the gps.
No exchange.

That 4WD track certainly is a test for a rental car! Good one, Daniel Jordan Charlotte Kate & Tony!

Found it after about 30 mins of searching - hard to get a GPS lock in there!

With all those tiny little winding roads, it makes you realise why bushfires in the dandenongs are such a problem - it'd take a whole day to get everyone out of there! And that's if their cars didn't break down from overwork in the hills - I think that's the first time I've had the ole calais above half-way on the temperature gauge!

Great spot, keep up the great work Smile

Took a golf ball and left a stubby holder
Nice area for a picnic too.

This was our first attempt at this new craze. My two daughters were keen as mustard to go treasure hunting. The GPS took us right on top of the cache which is in great condition. Lots of goodies inside, we took the switch which will come in handy for my new spot lights on the car, and left a golf ball.
We're off to look for another one when the weather clears.
Have fun folks............

Found this just after 9pm. Had 3 Children with me 9, 6 and 2, which made for some fun in the dark. After searching in the bush for 20 minutes, went back to the 4wd track to try to get some sort of triangulation fix. Decided to go bush for one last try, and spotted it next to the tree about 15 metres from where we were first looking. Contents in good condition, left some lip balm/sunscreen and took the torch.

It was raining hard by the time we got to this cache after visting Fine and Dandy. We didn't stay long but got drenched all the same. It's probably a nice spot in good weather. We swapped a torch for the clock. Greg and Bev

Well, after finding Scottish Hillside (GCD3A) nearby, I checked the GPS and found yours listed a scant 4 km away. After driving all the way out from central Melbourne I wasn't going to skip it now Smile Nice drive on the mud (it had been raining) and the road managed to take me up to about 50m of the cache. Finding the cache in those final few metres wasn't easy, with the pour coverage underneath the canopy. After about 25 minutes or so I was going to go but just had to keep checking out these trees. Bingo!! There it was. I had been circling it for quite a while but at last I had it. Didn't take nor leave anything, was just satisfying to find it. Good Cache! Cheers Gav [19]

Found today in 10 mins, after searching for ages yesterday. It's a very difficult area to get a satellite lock due to the extensive tree cover. For ages we had no lock yesterday. I tried one last time and got a fix for about 2 minutes, enabling me to get within a few metres of the cache, but still couldn't find it. Came back today and still couldn't get a position fix, but searched the area again, and found it next to the 3rd tree I looked at! It's in very good condition, with not a drop of water inside after 2 months of rain. Swapped an ID card holder for the Rubiks cube.

Not found by Brad, Jen, Cass & Britt!
Planned to jump on the first break in weather this weekend. Ate an early lunch and headed off. Left the car near the cache and walked down the muddy track only to be defeated soundly by tree cover. Kids were disappointed but we kept the goodies for another cache.
Will return when we get a new GPS or a helicopter.
Jen thinks she knows D from KPS.

Found by Ray and Maya (Nomads) with help from friends Terry and Dianne, at 1:25 on Sunday afternoon the 29th April 2001. On a beautiful sunny morning, we started off from Glenrowan after spending a fun Saturday night Square Dancing in a Shearing Shed. We traveled through Yea and Montrose to the cache location. Without a detailed map of the area we initially enjoyed some interesting walks along incorrect tracks. We finally found the cache in good order after a couple of GPS restarts to correct errors due to the tree cover.
We took the key ring light and left a dummy (Pacifier). Our thanks to the Brierley family for the challenge, and a healthy and relaxing walk through the bush. Liked the photo, nice touch guys.

Found by Tony and John on Anzac day. Took us several restarts before we found it. When you're looking for a bucket under a pile of branches it seems every tree has a pile of branches under it. Took a magic ball and left a clock.
