Frog has been given notice of eviction and should be vacated within a fortnight.
Needs Maintenance
There is a frog in the tube so we can’t get the cache. Please don’t hurt the frog but if you can maybe put it a different spot.

Day 3 of our adventure to Townsville Mega. Found stamped log and replaced, after getting big thorn in my leg. Thanks to coongoola for placing this series, Shame we can't finish due to long grass.
TFTC,
Attempt #2 to do this series.
First problem was resolved after contacting the CO. Replaced with their permission.
Second problem was again the grass and so all caches along the walk are not attempted.
We may pass this way again in September when the grass should be gone.

Thanks for the wonderful walk around the Wetlands.
We chose to do the walk early in the morning, left the camp at 7.30 and after completing this great series, then continued walking to the cemetery for the cache down there
The grasses are so lush and green, so high to walk through, watching for slithery creatures as we made noises with our boots.
That sticky stuff from the early morning dew from the seeds of the grasses was so sticky but a good swim back at camp soon had it all gone )

TFTC. We stayed at the bore for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Did the wetlands walk into town and came back via the road. What a lovely walk. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley
While the family was relaxing at the bore baths I went for a nice walk along the waterway.
Log book almost full
Thanks coongoola for the cache.

Found with Sophiescout on a short walk of the trail - time did not permit the full length. TFTC
I started out relatively early for me this morning and I was so glad I did. The walk is exposed and the sun was hot. Especially by the time I finished at 10:30. Thanks to excellent coordinates all caches were found .
This was the first cache on my list and took a bit of finding but it was a great feeling and it is a good hide. Thanks for hiding this series Coongoola. SL

This one was tricky, but after reading some previous posts we got there on a scorcher of a day. TFTC!
Caching in and around Pilliga and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
A nice stroll around the wetlands, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks coongoola for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We spot this cluster of caches on the map and were thrilled to see there was a walk involved. Our two favorite pastimes combined - geocaching and a nature walk.
So we decided to take a detour and travel from Narrabri to Gilgandra via Pilliga.
It was well worth the extra 40 kms. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and were surprised at how much water there is here. All the caches were easy to find and the info boards are interesting.
Be sure to cover yourself in insect repellent and wear a fly veil if you have one.
Thanks Coongoola for creating this trail and bringing us here.

Heading south from Gundy geo-caching and camping. Took a detour to the Australian Telescope Compact Array, then another to the Pilliga hot artesian baths, and blow me down if there's not a whole series of caches here as well ! Camping at the bore, so headed out on the "wetlands" walk in the late pm. Got three well placed, maintained and accurately recorded hides. Thanks so much coongoola. We'll do a few more tomorrow hopefully
Day 3 of our epic journey to Cape York and the third day of our streak. We continued today with a series of easy little finds along the Pillaga Wetlands walk - a lovely stroll of about 4 km return. TFTCs
Hi there coongoola. We're currently camped at Burren Junction Borebaths, so today was a touring day between Burren Junction and Pilliga - a pretty easy day. This cache was a quick find and the container and the log are dry and in good condition. SL. Thanks to coongoola for this cache - our find #6659.
Found by Mary and David at 1420. Well hello. We met you both at the Red Centre Event. Remember too the guitar serenade for Cat's birthday. We left home over 2 weeks ago for a big family reunion on Fraser Island, and now were headed to the Clear Waters Mega. Lovely to see water here. Our thanks to coongoola.
We stayed overnight at the campsite in Pilliga.
We’ve done this series as part of our plan to do a nice walking tour
Thank you for the cache

Last one in the series, an easy find and then we went over and checked out the baths. Thanks for the series.
After a visit to a boring spot nearby,
I went for a stroll along the creek
Bit dry out this way !!
And the only wetness is the creek itself,
no doubt fed by the bore nearby
First stop was not far away,
and a quick cache find to start me along the way

We have camped here by the bore baths, a great location. Free swim in the hot pool. Wild horses in the paddock beside us & a kangaroo that came to drink from the creek.
Bill took his bike & completed the trail, didn't like to take the bike off the track because of the cat heads. He encounted wild horses which he said he didn't know which way the were going to move.
Really enjoyed his ride, giving this one a FP for the series.
We stopped where it was suitable with the caravan on to find caches.
It was good to find such a variety of caches & hides along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache coongoola

TFTC. We are camped at the Bore for a few days. Before have a plunge this morning we decided to walk the Wetlands and cache. We started badly. We had to come back for 3 and 1 as the eluded us at first. We found all of them and our names are in the log.
We are touring Australia and caching as we go!
Spending a few days at the bore baths so thought we may as well do the wetlands walk while we are here. It's a little hot here this morning but we didn't let that stop us.
Found all the caches along the way. Thanks coongoola, your trail of caches is much appreciated!
Cheers from Canada!

Cheers
After a good long soak (or two) in the Pilliga Bore (and MrsG now sporting black jewellery for what was once silver) we set off to ride the Wetlands Walk . . . and hopefully not find any cat eyes which would result in a Wetlands bike push.
It wasn't till we checked the size of the cache that we knew where to look. [^] TFTC coongoola.
