A little trip from Narrabri to see this nice little town. After geocaching we enjoyed the nice and warm bath. TFTC!
After our travels it was time to sell our Matilda the campervan and settle down in Narrabri for few months. On our day off from work we drove here to do some geocaching and enjoy nice day. Thank you for the cache!
What happened to PWW #4? Beautiful but muddy walk after last nights big storm. TFTC
Stayed here overnight while enjoying the nearby artesian pool. Enjoyed the wander along the wetlands. Most hides where found after a short search. Loved the different containers and hides. Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
We stayed at the Pilliga bore baths overnight and I thought I’d check out the wetlands walk this morning.
It was lovely and peaceful and I could hear and see lots of birds. It was interesting reading the info boards. This cache needs a new log and I unfortunately didn’t bring a replacement with me. Tftc

Luckily this cache was high and dry.
I am glad to discover this cache trail. I was told that the bird life here wasn't very interesting but I am already up to 32 species.

Tftc Coongoola, When we stayed at the bore baths here about 3 years ago before we were geocaching we did this walk.
It was a lot drier then.
Today there was some wet to the wetlands and a variety of water birds enjoying the location .
All caches were in good condition.
Thanks

I started out relatively early for me this morning and I was so glad I did. The walk is exposed and the sun was hot. Especially by the time I finished at 10:30. Thanks to excellent coordinates all caches were found .
This was an easy find, a quick retrieval of the cache but apparently a bird had taken exception to your cache Coongoola as it was perching above it somewhere and decided to leave a little white present which sealed the cache. A finger nail did the trick and broke the seal so the log now carries my name. TFTC

Caching in and around Pilliga and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
A nice stroll around the wetlands, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks coongoola for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We spot this cluster of caches on the map and were thrilled to see there was a walk involved. Our two favorite pastimes combined - geocaching and a nature walk.
So we decided to take a detour and travel from Narrabri to Gilgandra via Pilliga.
It was well worth the extra 40 kms. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and were surprised at how much water there is here. All the caches were easy to find and the info boards are interesting.
Be sure to cover yourself in insect repellent and wear a fly veil if you have one.

Found. It was an excellent idea to put caches along this walk as it gave me and I am sure others the incentive to do the walk. Thank you.
Day 3 of our epic journey to Cape York and the third day of our streak. We continued today with a series of easy little finds along the Pillaga Wetlands walk - a lovely stroll of about 4 km return. TFTCs
Hi there coongoola. We're currently camped at Burren Junction Borebaths, so today was a touring day between Burren Junction and Pilliga - a pretty easy day. This cache was a quick find and the container and the log are dry and in good condition. SL. Thanks to coongoola for this cache - our find #6662.
We stayed overnight at the campsite in Pilliga.
We’ve done this series as part of our plan to do a nice walking tour
Thank you for the cache

An easy find, there were horses as we drove around that came up for a look at what we were doing, they approved so we continued.
Continuing me walk today,
through the parched lands of Pilliga way
By the only bit of green,
around here to be seen,
I soon tracked down this cache hide today
Hey !! They have both species of spoonbill here [:o]
The common as muck yellow billed variety,
and the very impressive looking Royal Spoonbill
You don't see them everyday [^]

We have camped here by the bore baths, a great location. Free swim in the hot pool. Wild horses in the paddock beside us & a kangaroo that came to drink from the creek.
Bill took his bike & completed the trail.
We stopped where it was suitable with the caravan on to find caches.
It was good to find such a variety of caches & hides along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache coongoola

TFTC! This one took me much longer than it should have, so many possible hidey holes at gz, I almost gave up but there it was, in front of me the whole time.
TFTC these are all nice quick finds along this lovely walk on a fresh morning, back for a soak when we get them all.
TFTC. We are camped at the Bore for a few days. Before have a plunge this morning we decided to walk the Wetlands and cache. We started badly. We had to come back for 3 and 1 as the eluded us at first. We found all of them and our names are in the log.
We are touring Australia and caching as we go!
Spending a few days at the bore baths so thought we may as well do the wetlands walk while we are here. It's a little hot here this morning but we didn't let that stop us.
Found all the caches along the way. Thanks coongoola, your trail of caches is much appreciated!
Cheers from Canada!

Even though it's at the camping ground where the bore flows into the creek we decided to test the water here to check for warmth . . . . cold! Found the cache and rode on. TFTC coongoola.
Found with hodgee42, the FTF'er
Grabbed all these ones at night before going to the bore. Good to see some caches in a small town like this. TFTC
