Logs
Alas, due to wanton acts of vandalism at 2 sites, I'm archiving the series. A bit deflating after all the work. Moving on and upwards. Container will be collected Saturday.
Going to swap #1 with the Final and see if that improves its life expectancy. But won't physically be able to do this until end of June.
Getting towards the other end now, the cache was located in the first place I checked, which was pleasing. The log is a little samp but can still definitely be signed. There was a little water in the container which I dried out and left the bag with the opening down to keep the rain out.

I had to get the cache...I just had to. I was so close i could taste the sweet relief of putting a killer behind cache bars. This was a quick and easy find so I was stoked. I guess calling out why in the middle of the tracks isn't the best option when I have been running from the sounds of things that go bump in the night...or Moo-ing at the cows I saw along the way! TFTC! Now onto the final!
AHa! Got you! Now for the parlour scene and the big reveal.
Awesome caches, we’re really enjoying ourselves here!

If I were to do this series again I would do it on foot and not on bicycle. The terrain isn't good for the wheels.
A quick find here and time to solve the mystery.
Didn't take long to figure it out and off to the final.
I watched Stand By Me a few nights ago and it was quite fitting after finding myself here.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Thought we'd do a bit of a day trip and do some caching, always travel around here on the way to Wilsons Prom. But never really get time to stop for caches.
Thanks for these awesome series, we had a lot of fun with these ones.

Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. When the forecasted rain arrived we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. As we drove back to the city we went through some serious rain but once we got near to Lang Lang there was a break in the showers and we had time to tackle this series. This was the final pf the trads in the series and suddenly we had all we needed to solve the murder and zoom in on the final. My 48th of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and a great series tassieexpat.
This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and tassieexpat for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.
One of our TB's was dropped in the final for this series and the cache name caught our attention. Looked like a fun interesting series. So with the cooler weather today here we are. Thanks for placing this series.
Oaky dokie now hopefully I got everything correct ? Now after belting half of the local flies into oblivion
Catching up on my logging...
Today I was out and about with GoodLook and Alansee - certainly a fun day. We had decided to do this series and we really did love it. Well done.
Thanks so much tassieexpat for placing this wonderful series.

I LOVED doing this series!!
I have been in Victoria for just over a week (visiting from Adelaide), hanging out with the lovely micaparamedic and attending lots of events. Today we headed out to meet the awesome Alansee and to find a handful of caches - what a fabulous day we had!
Thanks so much for the cache tassieexpat!

The Drovers were staying with us for a quick visit so we naturally went out for a day of caching
.
We haven't been around this area for quite awhile so we decided to target it today. We really enjoyed this well themed mini series and thought that it was a great idea for locating the final.
With a bit of driving and a bit of walking we had no trouble locating the caches and taking note of the clues.
Our favourite was certainly gz where the theme still continued but we did have a bit of trouble getting in to add our names tot he log until we re read the cache page and realised that we were doing it the wrong way. Once we followed the correct instructions we were soon adding our names to the log.
We are leaving a favourite point on the final to show our appreciation of the effort that has gone into this very enjoyable series.

Spending the weekend with Team Crackers, and headed out for a fun day of caching.
We found a variety of caches, some harder to spot than others.
Signed the log, and collected the clues along the way.
Many thanks for placing this cache, tassieexpat, for us and others to find.

I have been looking the last month for replacement equipment for the final. Once I can replace the container, the series will be back up and running.
Today we explored Lang Lang and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Being not so wet today we continued on with this series and made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Well we are on the trail now and the posse is gathering for the showdown, hang on wrong movie here! Try again....We now have the suspect in our sights and all being well we will have them by 5pm. Just a short walk along here and we will have them surrounded. They wont escape now!

Interesting old railway line. I have walked sections of it before so was happy to see an excuse to go for a stroll along a short section.
Almost looked too hard but getting the hang of these now. Easy but again a little sneaky. Thanks

Another vital clue and this murder is now close to being solved. We have eliminated a key suspect. Log signed and back safe.

Well it takes a lot for me to give out a favourite point, as I am a bit fussy when it comes to handing them out, but it is really the little differences that make me happy enough to give out the point. I can say that the final of this series does deserve it. After parking near the most southern cache in the series I proceeded to go up and walk along this long abandoned railway line. With all the cache finds being not that complicated I quickly proceeded along to the final with no real trouble. Took the geocoin out of the final, was really cool, am going to try to buy one for myself haha.

What an absolute pleasure it was doing this series today. Love all things train related and to be able to have the actual line to walk along was fantastic. It really added to the theme. All the caches were easily located and nicely hidden.
Thank you so much tassieexpat for the cache and for bringing us here

I only had one hour for this group of caches and I wanted to do as many as I possibly could. I am someone who might stay at a cache for way too long searching in all of the not so obvious places when I should be looking at more obvious ones. I'm so glad that I gave this group a go. Just what I needed to finish off the day well. Thanks for the caches and showing me around Lang Lang. I haven't really stopped her before, it can be seen as a 'passing through' type of town. So glad I stopped and went for a lovely walk, just what I needed.
Found and enjoyed the walk while doing it. Thanks for placing this interesting series.

The last clues found and soon our 9 year old daughter was telling us all the weird and different ways that it could have done by XXXX, while our son explained that that couldn't have happened.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Expat

Visit Lang Lang with accompanied crank1 for the day. Perfect day for us to do the Murder on the Lang Lang Express series. Thanks tassieexpat for this series
Out and about early on a day off, so decided to grab this series while the weather was nice, just a pity the grass is so wet.
I found all the traditionals easy enough, forgetting some clues as I had nothing to write them down on, so the final is for another day.
Thanks tassieexpat for this series.

Another nice hide as we walked into the setting sun towards the final cache. This series is very well done. Thanks for another great cache.
Well maybe I'm not getting into the swing of this like I thought. It took me ages to find this easily findable one. The wasp floating around the tree was a bit off putting until it disappeared and then I didn't know where it disappeared to. I had visions of getting stung and lying here close to death .....maybe thats how the murder happened...stung by a wasp!....get on with it drama queen! I've come so far (across lots of rocks) and it would be a shame to fail now and go home empty handed ( I would have to do the rocks again....noooo!) so I kept looking and looking and looking. It finally turned up in the first place I had looked and not seen. Hate it when that happens!! So now I have all my clues in a row and can do the final. Yaaaay
Taking a detour on the way home to try to grab this series of caches
this being one of them. Thanks tassieexpat FTC. Last one sat down and
did some calculations from the clues collected.

Having spent most of yesterday not doing much as I have a bad head cold I was determined to get things done today, the sun was shinning and the birds singing!
Having to hang around at home for the Foxtel man and the Solar technician I decided to get out in the garden. I had two dead gum trees in my sights, hubby had avoided chopping them up but they were driving me mad, I had to get rid of them.
This saw me tow them down from the front yard to the back paddock where our bonfire is. The ground wet and my poor territory wasn't keen on towing one let alone two dead gun trees. Anyway I was successful but then managed to get my self bogged down the bottom of the paddock... whoops!
Being worried about still being bogged when school pick up cane around I decided I needed to think up a way to get out that didn't involve asking hubby to come home from work early! Then when the notification emails for these caches come through it was doubly important that I got out and soon!
Some decisive moves had me out and in my way to Lang Lang!
A fun little series with a great ending!
