After collecting the rest of the Little Bird GeoArt and attending the Christmas in July event, Snickersallan and I went to find more caches in the area, sometimes bumping with other event attendees along the way. Almost no muggles on this cold and windy day.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Lindsish and Trishbomb. Good hint, quick find.

Today, I explored Bribie Island centred around the *Christmas in July* lunch event. With a late morning home departure, I first visited Woorim and completed the *Sculpted Woorim* Adventure Lab. I then made my way to Bellara to join the event's Christmas festivities, before visiting a few geocaches around Bellara and Banksia Beach. I then had a 6 km walk along Red Beach, before joining a small group around Sandstone Beach with some tree fishing as the day's light faded.
What a cool tree, and the split down the middle was seriously impressive. There were also nice views of the bay despite being quite choppy today. The last log helped to narrow down this hide, where it didn't take long to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lindsish and Trishbomb for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After an earlier event nearby I set about with a group, and then just one and then just me to work my way around the island searching for the outstanding little boxes on my map. Caching with Mr (and Mrs) Crew 153 today - this was our final joint cache. A quick find in not the obvious spot, but quickly adjusted our attack.
Thanks Lindsish and Trishbomb for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I teamed up for this one. The cold wind was blowing off the passage but luckily we found the cache and replaced it so that we could return to the warmth of the cars.

Took us a while to find but did eventually. We are new to this App so I’m sure we will get better . Thanks
I was over at Bribie crazy early this morning for a round of golf at the somewhat challenging Pacific Harbour course. Had a good day and got that I thought was a fair score and fortunately didn't loose as many balls as I expected.
A bit of a detour from heading home to find this cache, but was found nice and quickly.
Thanks!!

Quick easy find even if I walked past it the first swoop. Mighty cold here today.
Is a lovely Sunday afternoon here on Bribie island. Current temperature is about 19°C with a gentle breeze and a lovely sunny sky. I’ve attached a photo of the outlook to the south west.
The inside of cache is quite wet and I’ve dried it out the best as I can. But, I was unable to spend too much time here to make a good job of it. The Logbook is still dry.
Thank you for bringing me here it’s a lovely part of the world

Awesome little find it was a bit off from location and hint. Have replaced at location and corresponding hint. Also left a small swappable.
We are not sure if this cache has suffered cache creep but the hint indicated one place and the co-ords are right for this spot but we found the cache further away.
A lovely reason to place a cache in such a beautiful spot, thank you for sharing with us all. SL TFTC

Continuing our afternoon tour of Bribie Is - this was #6 of 17 caches found today.
We pulled up alongside the park and noticed that the gz we were heading for was right in front of some muggles picknicking at the table. We walked further down to the beach then feigned some scientific interest in the plantlife in the dunes to get closer to the tree again. Lots of discarded chips around that surprisingly had not yet been located by any seagulls.
J was brave enough to reach up undercover of the tree foliage now and found the cache. It was very wet inside, tipped out as much water as we could & replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache beautifully quiet spot today no one around just the birds.
Found it on a quick night hunt to the area. Thank you. Took out a small kiwi & placed a couple of things in there.
Thank you, that was a nice way find. We are filling in some time because there is some type of police drama going on in the street where we're staying! Not what you'd expect on Bribie Island!
I'm surprised that this was still here; it was not well replaced and quite visible. One nosey muggle close by had to attend her child's calls so hidden by the feature and visibility of the cache was actually rather handy in this instance. Replaced more thoughtfully this time. Tftc
Two of our team are having a few days at Bribie. We thought we'd grab a few caches while here??
Lovely place for a morning walk as we followed the trail along the beachfront of Pumicestone Passage to find this one; all the while enjoying the views across the passage and beyond.
Log signed and cache replaced as found.

Another nice easy one, our last on Father's Day. Haven't been this far up on Bribie before. Worth the trip. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a beautiful location and I’m sure your wedding must’ve been terrific here in such a lovely area. In the afternoon, the sun was shining and we really enjoyed our walk along this Esplanade.
Thanks

Was an easy find but definitely difficult to put back with the amount of muggles. Would recommend to go get at night time
What a stunning view for this cache. We found it pretty quickly but had to take care with muggles on bikes and scooters regularly passing by. Our first cache on Bribie Island.
Found ️
We decided to go caching at night so it made it a little harder but easy find ️ tyftc

It took a while because there was split trees everywhere. But we eventually found it.
Chamad and myself has been talking about going to Bribie Island for some time now, so today that day came to reality as we both had several target caches that we needed in the area.
I had a few caches that were a MUST for me as they would knock off a few more degrees for my 360 from home and a couple of DT combos that will help out on a few challenges also.
Today I ended up with 16 finds, but unfortunately 2 DNF's.
All in all, it was a fantastic day to be outside today and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

While I was out to continue a couple of challenges which I’m working on; a traditional a day and a cache a day, I did have some target caches in mind. So today I was hitting Bribie and clean up a few I missed from last time I was here. I had mentioned to geonayfee I was going and if he would like to come along, he mentioned he had a few to get in the area for his 360 degrees grid.
The “nayfee broom broom” was our mode of transport around bribie. While I had my last find for a lab series this one was close by, a quick stop, park and a short walk to grab this one and an easy find. With the log signed and cache replaced as found we were off to the next one.
Thank you for placing this one here and maintaining it.

My first ever time searching and finding a geocache. It was actually harder than I was expecting! I was inspired by my brother and sister in law to give geocaching a go. I’m now excited to start hunting for more
Found it!!! The little notebook is soaked as the lid previously wasn't closed properly but still lots of fun to find
Will be putting on hold until that craziness is over and going to re place for new container.
