Unfortunately this one has gone missing. I will not replace it as the one that was placed here was found at Eagle Rock and I won't be placing a fake of a fake. Thanks to everyone who found it.
Had another look for this one this morning. Still could not find it. Considering the placement of the other two fake eagle rock caches I thought I would find this easy enough. It would not appear to be this way. Will come back and try again! Need to get the smiley on this one.
Had a look for this one today and could not find it. GPS was all over the place. Will try again on my next ride.
Had the day off to visit the Eagle Rock legendary cache. Since I could not find this one even after PAF, decided I was wasting my time with the D5 original. Why oh why do I have trouble with these supposedly easy ones!
Gotta log this as a DNF, spent an hour here with no joy. Will be back though, it can't be this hard. TFTC

Find #9490
After finishing up at my nearby event, I hitched a lift with leafotwind and nirgalagrin to find some of the unfound caches in the area. It was a pleasant afternoon chatting and throwing in a few smileys just for fun
Cache was found in A1 condition, I think the CO just needs to remove the NM flag.
Many thanks to arkbell80 for the cache. TNLN.

After attending the nearby event, ahomburg, myself and nirgalagrin wandered off to find this small mini series. Although both nirgalagrin and I spotted the correct hole through the screening vegetation at the same time he took a slightly different entry point. Consequently I put my mitts on it first.

Out with ahomburg and leafotwind, taking a nice walk in the sunshine along the river after the nearby Mega lead-up event...
A nice quick find as we continued upriver.
Thanks for turning an annoyance into a mini series, arkbell80.

After attending the nearby event I returned here. I had had a short search before, but ran out of time, so back for a more thorough look which soon resulted in success TFTC arkbell80
This was a good secluded spot away from any prying eyes. Although they weren't really going to be an issue with the rain showers keeping the muggles well and truly away. The log is full so I signed up the side of the sheet and took a photo just in case.
Thanks to arkbell80 for placing this cache.

Was working along the Werribee River today, and stopped next to a patch of trees for lunch. Happened to look at the geocaching app, and there was one 11m away! Jumped up, and made a fairly quick find. An excellent hide, with some good detail to it. Thanks!
Didn't have a pen with us today, but this tricky little bugger took us a fair while to find, i had my 83 year old nanna in the bushes with me.
This one took longer than expected to find but BFMC spotted it on the right angle. How did we miss that one! Still singing Eagle Rick in my head!

Nice quick find while I dodged a staffing that kept barking at me and the fricking owner stood around saying, ‘I’m not sure if she is happy or upset with you’. Who cares, bloody pull her off me! Knew I couldn’t find Eagle a Rock so cut my losses and headed back.

Happy Australia Day! After an Australia Day morning in Lara, I decided to clean up a few caches closer to home before it got too humid. A DNF was rectified today and the cache exposed itself easily today. Sometimes its all about the angles. Thanks for the cache arkbell80.

Hi there arkbell80.
We found your cache **"FAKE Eagle Rock #2"** at 1:00:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 18396).
We started the day off by looking for "Eagle Rock - Daddy Cool". Then we headed off to find something easier.
We found 3 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 4m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Not sure if it's my gps but no sign of it. Looking for a long time as I hate it when I can't seem to find it
One last look and at last I found it. I just can't give up. Gps coordinates are not quite correct around 6meters out but don't give up, it's still there
*Out and about grabbing a cache to keep my streak alive*...
**327** *consecutive days with finds*
Another one crossed off in this series. Good to be back from my 4+ months away and time to clean up some of the many new caches (and one or two older ones).
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment arkbell80. Appreciate your effort.
Greetings from Victoria.

Huzzah! Got ya! It's a lovely cool morning and I'm very glad that the longer than I wanted time spent looking was worth it! TFTC TN LN SL Returned it to its hiding place.
Had a great overnight stay in Werribee
Took the opportunity to grab this one during an early morning stroll along the river
Many thanx to arkbell80

At least we have found something that has Eagle Rock in its name. A busy day, but a little bit of time to kill between appointments, errands, dinner, and footy. Took some careful looking, then spotted it from afar. Hooray. TFTC arkbell80
Wow. What a cold day to be about. Determined to knock off these along the river. Find after some fighting with the trees. TFTC
Down this way to look at a possible new car. Brought the kids, and as the dealer was just at the end of the road I had to get a name on Eagle Rock.
But that was not to be - it was consolation that this one was nearby and avaiable.
Thanks for this one Arkbell80 - some good fun with the kids but the ultimate prize remains hidden oh so closely.

A nice stroll with the family to sign a couple of logs either side of a sad blue face. TFTC
As per our log for #1 we achieved success here quite quickly. One day we hope to be able to say the same about the real Eagle Rock.
Our pen gave up the ghost and refused to allow us to place our mark on the log sheet. We crushed up a few biits of green leaf and rubbed it onto the log sheet, we will fix this when we next return to the area. SL TFTC

Another lovely walk this area - did not take long to find this well hidden cache. Fortunately there were no muggles here this am! Nice little series that was much appreciated.

After finding #1 and cleaning day #239 off my calendar, I now had a double motivation to find this particular cache today: first, I'm still trying to move my centroid a bit closer to home so I can have a crack at the Centurion Centroid challenge cache without having to do a 1000 km + round trip; and second, I doubt I'll ever find the real Evil Rock, so minor consolation prize of finding both of the two FAKE Eagle Rocks.
The cache is in good condition.

With a 3am start at the Geelong 2017 Flash Mob Simsfamily, No worries and Nevile Devil decided to continue on with visits to Werribee, Melbourne Art Centre, FairField, Lysterfield, Cranbourne and every corner of Casey just to have fun with Great company and laughs along the way.
We thankfully were able to make a find here unlike its namesake.
Thanks for the cache arkbell80

Hahaha! I DNF'd the actual Eagle Rock a while back, now I can DNF a fake. I couldn't locate this cache today, if I can't spot it in the first few minutes, I'm not going to find it, so I headed back to the car! Maybe another day.

Found by Mary & David at 1646. Nice to have a new cache fairly close to maccamob HQ to keep our streak going, now at Day 385. Took a couple of minutes searching around in the greenery before the container revealed itself. Wonder how many more "fakes" will appear around here in this new role? Our thanks to arkbell80.

Returning to Geelong, in the good company of fellow Geelong cachers, the Suscoe duo, we could not help making a diversion to pass through Werribee. The Suscoes were right onto this one, great to add our name to this well repurposed cache. If the series continues, we will be back!
Thanks arkbell80 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe continued our journey down stream with Phetlern and we folllowed the weed spraying team from the Council.
Thanksfully they continued walking and we stopped, spread out and looked.
Soon we had found what we had been seeking.
Seeing Fake News has become a talking point inspired by the Whaite House we were pleased to have this bit of Fake Cache in our hands, but hang on, if it was fake then how did we found it and sign the log?????????
Some thing to contemplate!!!!!!
Thanks to arkbell80 for this hide.
Good work in recycling!!!!

Na'wal and I moved on with B Boy in tow, to search for this one. Na'wal did the honours here. I decided to have a look at the original 'real' rock on the way back to the car before heading helter skelter back home .

The geo boy and I decided to go for a few caches this morning, a play @ the park and some morning tea. The morning was a great one as it is the geo boy's birthday. After teaming up with 6Hinemoa2 for the FTF on the other in this series, we moved along and found this one quickly. It was great to catch up with 6Hinemoa2 as we had not seen each other for a short while. We walked back to where the geo wheels were and parted ways. Signed and replaced as found.

Geoteen had been scoping these new caches at school when she should have been studying! And was keen to try them the minute I walked in the door from work... getting dark... but we managed to find this one. Thanks for cleaning up the fakes!
