Another quick visit to town so things came together for some caching. Always nice to be out in the bush and saw a few Roos too. Given dry tracks we had no issues making our way around.
While the GPSr was a bit laggy geo senses generally kicked in for most locations. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

With only two weeks until I relocate to the east coast for work, it was time to get out and see some of WA. I borrowed a car for the weekend and planned a micro-adventure. Mundaring, York, Northam, and overnight in Toodyay. Tomorrow I'll visit New Norcia before heading back to Rockingham.

This was a gorgeous little wilderness area! The geocaches took me just far enough off the track that I got to see some wildflowers that I'd not seen before. The contrast between the blackened wood from recent burning and the new green growth was stunning.

Thank you for the caches that brought me here Smile

22-Mar-20
I had come over to Mundaring today to hike some of the trails with the geohound and pick up this series on the way. It was a fantastic walk - the weather was perfect, the trails pretty quiet, and (with the exception of Ozzy Lusth) all caches were found quickly and easily. For some reason Ozzy gave me the run around and it took quite a systematic search to finally uncover the container. As I neared the end I also realised I was coming up one number short for the bonus cache - those that I had put me in the right area however so all was not lost Smile All caches were in good condition and great fun. I do however have to ask the CO's forgiveness on two counts: for the copy & paste log on each cache and the fact that *whispers...* I have never actually seen the show. Great cache series though! Smile TFTC

Catching up on some old logs that were never sent. I really wanted to write a decent log for this series but have never had the chance. A great series, hidden in tribute of a great TV show.

A catch up with AlliedOz was in order, so we hatched a plan to come out to Survivor land and grab a few smilies, remembering a few of our favourite players of this great show along the way.
