An easy find thanks to the hint. Our last cache after a day walking this track and the ones in Talbot Forest Reserve. TFTC
Found it but didn't dig for it due to others comments regarding wet log book etc
TFTC. Found and replanted. So wet inside, I think something may start growing in it. Needs drying and paper. Photo instead of ink.
Cool hide log might need some replacing as it had quite a bit if water in it tftc
Seemed to be on other side of a fence, wasn't sure if it was private property.
Quick find. Stunning spring day today for a bit of caching. Thanks for the cache!
#21449. After doing the Downs/Gale track, we had to decide whether we had enough energy (around 4:30PM) for one more cache. The lure of avenging a DNF was enough to get us up the track to GZ and make a quick find. TFTC.
With temperatures dropping, we were keen to head to our accommodation and a coffee, but made the time to try and avenge a DNF.
I think we must have come from a different access point last time, as I don't remember the path being this steep. StreetWalkerNZ made it to GZ first and made a quick find. Good to turn a blue face into a smile. TFTC.

We needed to do two geocaches to celebrate 22022022 or 22222 day depending how you look at it. These two have been on our list for some time. Easy find though extremely wet. Paper unsignable though I did make a mark of sorts. Easy find. I suggest a new piece of paper and a plastic bag. A very wet area.
Whoo didn't think we'd get these ones thought we'd run out time - found with Juju54 - TFTC
Phew puffed & blew our way up the hill & yes another find!!! With Campmotherandken TFTC
pretty easy find once started thinking about the clue … the log needs replacing as said before didn’t have any paper on me sorry !!!
After checking the obvious we widened the search a little and soon found the cache. TFTC.
Reasonably quick find considering. I had a good look at number 12. Paper old, dirty and hard to write on. Needs a nice new log really next one along.
To be fair, it is starting to rain so I didn't dwell too long
Cheers and thanks,

Found this at last. Three of us looked and looked but it was kakariki who found it in the end. Relieved to have at last got a smiley for this one
Found with reshamfiriri, finally. This one had been bugging us for some time. TFTC
In town for a few days for a wedding and all the stuff that goes along with it, hiccup, burp etc. Mr 13 and I did an early morning run through the forest tracks today. Back out in the open, this was straight forward enough, and I understand the hint now.
Wow a smiley face this time and went straight to it!! Isn'e it funny how that can happen. TFTC
A quicker find than we expected and our geocaching in the area with Busypaws
A nice view of the town from here. Checked the obvious, then the other side, then... where else is a possbility? Scratched around, saw white, phew.
When we saw the hint we knew that we are getting dirty hands. It took a bit longer but eventually found.

No luck here. Found something of interest but it didn't yield a cache. (BTW nof's log looks like it should have been a DNF not a find).
This one has got us puzzled.
Looking at previous entries we are not the only ones.
Will have to come back for another go.
Will keep an eye on new entries

2. Cache for me, again together with Kiwibuilder who infected me with the geo-cache-virus
Found with my German girlfriend (now a confirmed geocacher as of yesterday), Kea69. My find; being German she didn't exactly know what 'stay' was/is. My 152nd. Her 2nd.
We meant to head back to the car after the last find but these were so close we decided to grab them along the way. A quick find here. tftc
Our first find of the day - we are on a walking/caching 3-month visit from UK. Geraldine for Xmas! TFTC
The hint is pretty straightforward to a cryptic crossword solver. Others seem to have found it obscure. Nice little path. Our first Geraldine cache this holiday.
Last cache to find on the walk, kids did really well. Now off to the playground! TFTC
Nice spot, great family adventure.
Geraldine Caches are really disappointing for families with little kids though!! Miss 4 left some treasure

With COs help I located this one today. No one else on the log paper at all? Thanks for the cache, BCD.

Really needed to take the hint literally for this one (we got help from placer here) TFTC
Spent a long time here with Busy paws, searching all possible areas in the vicinity, and double checking them, no luck at all. Either our caching mojo had disappeared for a bit, or it's just not there.
As Geomum007 has said, we spent ages here with no luck, we ran out of places after a while! Most things at GZ were pulled, dug around searched with gusto! Not for us today.
replaced log please put back where you found it not where you think it should be ..thanks
Quick find but was unable to sign log as it was just a sodden mess. Thanks for the cache
A relatively quick find, but was unable to sign as the log was sodden. Sorry I had nothing with me to replace it. Have photo to prove I visited.
A quick and easy find today. was a bit damp, but I had no spares with me. Thanks
We decided on a quick mini break down Timaru way. The only issue was the camp ground had double booked our room, and we were bedless, So we headed up to Geraldine after finding most of the new Timaru hides.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.
