Gorgeous day in the Mountains so what better excise to go for a lovely walk and grab a cache along the way!
Definitely off the beaten track, but a great picnic view. Cache grabbed and signed.
Beautiful waterfall, falling well after rain last night and today! Found with Storeyteller. Tftc!
Found while visiting the beautiful Blue Mountains area from the Hunter Valley
This cache location is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. Truly a magical experience as you climb deeper and the whole forest changes. Easily one of the top 20 caches I've ever found. TFTC and a Fave Point

Tftc - The steep muddy walk down into the Dell was fantastic. The only other thing better was getting there and seeing the view. Oh and the cache was even better which is why I came.
Found It!
A steep walk down to this one but what an amazing place! The waterfall was flowing today as I walked behind it. A great spot for a cache, certainly somewhere you'd never visit if not for the cache!

After a steep walk down into the Lost World with Geokid, we found the mythical cache of Nymphs Dell (after lunch of course!) I’ve been listening to unverified facts about monsters for the journey down and the slow ascent to Dell Road. Not too sure what’s real or not. Nymphs Dell is unreal!
Found with my Dad and big brother on our morning cache trip around Wentworth Falls! FP from me!

While the ladies (Wife, Mum, Grandmother) went shopping, the full team hit Wentworth Falls for a six-pack of finds in beautiful spring weather in late winter....
Wow....
Any dell in the Blue Mountains is always spectacular and worth the effort to get to. We looked at the map, and decided to park and go from Glenview. The trailhead here is pretty indistinct, and not signed, a dog-walking local helped us find it. It isn't the gravel road.
The 100m or so descent tested the knees down and the lungs up, but was picturesque to say the least. At the amphitheatre the GPS was all over the place, and I spent a while trying to make the spoiler photo fit the terrain way off from GZ, before checking the hint, and Samuel spotted it in seconds, quite exposed. We recovered it in its groove before we left, much harder to spot now.
Thanks for bringing us down to this gorgeous spot.....

Went for 'exercise' today with the Geowife and GeoSon. A guy at work mentioned this track and being only a couple of Kms from home thought it worth a wander. So glad we did. As a bonus .... a cache along the way. Being out of practice, we left whitemushroom's 'Prince Reindeer' at Dell st, then drove around to the track entry at Glenview St and walked back through to Glen st. Ty Lobsterknees for the cache.
Dan left Sue in the car to guard our last roll of toilet paper. We refused to leave it at home in case someone broke into the house.
Dan struggled down the track as his knees have little cartilage left in them. Or maybe he is just out of shape. A very scenic and peaceful location. Deserves a FP. A quick find due to nice hint. Fortunately a quicker trip back up the hill, taking just under an hour all up. TFTC Lobsterknees and for showing us this nice location.

Quite an easy find. Cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. TFTC.
PS no lovemaking sighted.

Spending some time at the Happy Buddha and had the afternoon free to explore, so headed down, down, down again to see if I could find this after my fruitless attempt 2 years ago.
The waterfall was in full flow and quite spectacular, and I made a quick find this time given the clue. Nice to tick this off.

With todays heat I was only really looking for anything small or larger in size and didnt require to much effort, well on my way down I was now committed so continued all the way to GZ,OMG now I was so glad I came down here,I stripped down and was straight under that water fall in seconds...this place is magic!!
After spending a good half hour here cooling off I then slowly made my way back to the car after signing the log.
Coords are understandably out but the awesome hint made for a quick find.
Well worth a fav point anyday.
Thanks for placing this cache,it was definitely a highlight for the day.

Hoping to find a water nymph I was a little disappointed. As consolation I was able to find the cache. I had been here already a couple of times.
Thanks for the cache.

In Katoomba to walk from Jenolan to Katoomba along the six foot track. A day early so completing a few caches around the area before getting a bus to Jenolan. A beautiful spot. GPS pointed ten metres at the top of the waterfall and I could not see a picnic table !!! After a lot of searching I spied some-one on the other side of the track, yes they were sitting down. As soon as they left I raced up and found the picnic table and the cache. The cliffs played havoc with my gps having it 30 metres away. Wow though worth the visit and a fav point. TFTC.
Found on a new hike with some new friends. Smoked a fatty and enjoyed a beer.
What a lovely quiet spot compared to the tracks south of the highway! There were other visitors whom we disturbed that obviously also loved the place - they were naked making love on the beach in front of the waterfall. Thanks to the spoiler photo the cache was found quickly so we soon left them alone. TFTC
What a lovely dell. So pleasant on a warm day. Beautiful scenery, great place. I enjoyed the walk. TFTC
Yesterday I found myself in Wentworth Falls with 2 hrs to kill while kids were at choir practice, a new pair of hiking boots that needed some wearing in, and a vague recollection that there was a cache I'd been meaning to do for some time.
I don't know how I have lived and walked in the upper mounts for so long and never done this track before, it's a charming little loop. As expected, GPS reception is a but crazy near GZ and I didn't have the spoiler photo, nor did I have reception down there, however the hint was enough for me to make the hind.
Thanks for showing me this great spot, I expect I will come back with the kids on a hot summer day.

I was out after an event and ebbed to find some caches. But i had to drive all the way up here to find any.
With the heat and lack of energy from the weekend, I was a bit reluctant of descending down to gz and have to go back up again. But after calling a DNF on one of the others, i had to find this to get my goal number of finds.
I ended up going down via the Glenview Rd path to miss some of the vertical distance i would of had to walk. I wouldn't suggest this way in the wet as parts of the path share space with a water path.
Easy to find with the clue alone, even if my gps was 27m off at the time. In such a landscape i wouldn't expect any better.
Thanks for the cache.

That was a fun walk down but such a hard walk up. Dad did the walk up to the picnic table. I stayed down near the water.
That was an excellent walk with a special spot to enjoy at the end. This is why geocaching is great and this is what favourite points are for.
Down, down, down, down down . . . and then arriving at a very beautiful place! Well worth the effort of trudging back up, up, up again. Follow Canary's advice because your GPSr will probably be useless in this deep and hidden gully. Past two waterfalls and (finally) to the very obvious picnic table, and you'll be right. Won't leave my own coords because they were different by 44 metres from those given by the Canary. Cache was in good condition. TNLNSL. Thanks to lobsterknees for placing a cache in a great place.
A last minute decision by pjmpjm to go and look for this cache, a long way down to the gully but what a magical spot, well worth the climb back up!
Loved this one, thanks for the great location.

Liked this one. Great hidden area, few would know was here. Good hint meant quick find. Cache all good. Thanks for placing. Fav point. Tftc
Beautiful quiet spot... very popular a hundred years ago but today, little visited as humans have become quite lazy and unless their car can take them to within a short stroll to somewhere, they just don't bother. Thank goodness.... no litter, no tourists, plenty of solitude and beauty!... easy find with the hint.. how DID they get that table down there?.. left a single clay sculpted red rose. Highly recommended! Thanks for the hunt!...
Toriaz and I had the morning off so we decided to look for a few caches that have popped up in the mountains recently. I suggested this one, being farther from home and a higher terrain.
We just followed the route suggested by my hand-held Garmin and it took us to the other end of the track which begins at Glenview Road. We realised we were at the other end after we started down the fire trail behind the gate and then saw that road was not going to help us. We returned to Glenview Avenue and considered whether we would drive around to the other side. We decided not to. We found the correct track leading into the bush and started our descent. We soon came across a fire trail cutting across our track. Somebody was camped there - it seemed like a lousy place to camp to me - with a bottle of booze outside their tent. We passed that and continued along the track.
It was at this point the track got steeper and slipperier in places. We took our time, and eventually the track levelled and began turning right towards the cache.
Once we got there we made an instant find. This was largely due to Canary's log, which described it pretty well. We ignored his coordinates, however, since no set of coordinates will be definitive in a location like this.
A great location, too. The cache location offers a good view across to the falls.
Returning to the car was easier than I anticipated. We just took it slow and had a few stops along the way. Thanks

This was our first cache of the morning, and we didn't read the notes until we had parked the car. We then realised that the CO had suggested parking at the other end of the track. But the notes also said there was a round walk to this end, so we were hopeful we could still get through.
After a few false starts we finally had the right track and started down. Lovely track, but very steep & slippery, so we had to take it carefully. Finally we had the falls in sight.
We read Canary's log as we started, and knew we were about in the right spot when we spotted the picnic table. Bikerbuddy had the cache in hand before I could even think about starting to look. We sat at the picnic table to sign the log, and were impressed by whoever build the table that they had put it in the perfect spot to view the waterfall from!
Getting out was slow, as we took our time on the steep track. Bat all easy enough. Nice little cache to start the day with.
Thanks

Armed with instructions from the owner to follow the trail past the waterfall, where our GZ was, to a picnic table I returned. After finding the table about a hundred metres further around the track the cache was an easy find. With the GPS signal so bad here those instructions will be useful to the next finders. I have added some coordinates I took in the hope they're better. A lovely spot.

Canary and I spent 45 minutes trying to uncover this with no luck. We were very concerned about the amount of erosion we were creating by walking back and forth below the waterfall.
Pity as it is a lovely spot.

I attempted three lobster knees caches this afternoon. On each occasion the location had really poor reception and a large search area with a lot of spots to hide a small.
Armed with no hint to help narrow down the search and no reception to check the photos on the listing, this became a forty five minute fruitless search.
I shall return.
