Reperio 15:57Day 2 of my little escapade towards Albury for the weekend, and after spending the night at the Henry Angel Flat campground in Tumbarumba, it was up early to tackle the remaining caches along the Hume and Hovell Walking Track. Once back at the car, I made my way towards Albury for a fun weekend of caching and found plenty of caches along the way.Gratias Jorgo_CrewAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
That was a nice park and grab, even had some shade to park under whilst looking. TFTC
Quick park and grab on our way to the Bonegilla Migrant Experience with jo2022AUS. TFTC
I had to clear away a pile of vigorous cleavers weed before I could spot the cache, but didn't take too long. TFTC!
We found this one without too much fuss and really appreciate the landscape around us at the old bridges fascinating thank you.
The container is still nicely tucked away. A fresh bag over the log to help protect it. And with plenty of goodies to swap. Happy Hunting Jorgo_Crew
Hello Jorgo_Crew thank you for the cacheA quick find by a lovely old bridge.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Thursday, 02 May 2024 at 0841**TFTC**

Albury Invasion trip Day 2. After panning and months of puzzle solving it is finally time to head to Albury Wodonga for a long weekend visit. I was with Kitty Katch, FufacesLL and Joolay for this trip, but I also spent time with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n due to space in cars. Logs for the weekend were signed CIA23 to save space. Today was a day of driving all up and down and across back and forth around Albury trying to visit as many of the Puzzle locations we have solved. Some were nice walks some just roadside finds, but there was a huge variety of hides and some were very challenging, even if they were in 'traditional' locations. We did fail to find a few, but I put that down to some really good hides that just plain beat us. There were a few puzzle highlights but matching the puzzle to the hide on the day was a little difficult, so I will just thank all the hider's for their hard work and providing the opportunity to spend a fun day. There are still more caches to be found so we have another day planned for tomorrow and will probably have to come back again one day. Thanks for the cache Jorgo_Crew44840.29 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 Victoria Bushfire Gold A#132**Albida**
33,838. Found with Team CIA23 - Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023.Our caching group has been eyeing off the Albury/Wodonga area for quite some time. After many months of hard work we had solved nearly all the area's puzzles, so we set a date and headed on down. CIA23 comprised of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, FurfacesLL, Tankengine, dty73, Sol de lune, LuckyL10n, albida33, Aykayem, smittengranny and myself. For part of one day we were joined by local Cacher Happy Feet 1. What a great weekend of caching with such a fun group of people. An event on the Saturday night also helped make the trip memorable. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log as CIA23, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on our list. Thanks Jorgo_Crew !!
We joined in on the Canberra Albury Invasion or CAI fun this long weekend. After lots of puzzle solving and planning the time had come for a four day weekend of geocache hunting and hiking in and around the Albury/Wodonga area. We could not have picked a better weekend, we had great weather and avenged a couple of DNF's for us. Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches in this area, and for giving us a reason to come down the highway and visit this lovely area. Thanks for the hide Jorgo_Crew
fitzy_1965 and I headed towards Albury/Wodonga last night. We camped at the Ettamogah Pub before joining the rest of our friends in Albury today.A great day was had with us picking up lots of trads, multi's and pre-solved puzzles with the day ending in an event in the heart of Albury and a nice hotel room thanks to a Red Balloon voucher. The logs were primarily signed as CIA (Canberra Invasion Albury) unless otherwise stated.
Albury TripTime for an Aussie road trip with Joolay, albida33 and FurfacesLL plus others from the Canberra puzzling team. Signed as CAI Canberra Albury Invasion). Thanks for the hide Jorgo_Crew
Day 2 of our Albury Trip. For the last few weeks a group of us sat together and solved lots of puzzles for this weekend.Today, SmittenGranny, barb2e, Kittykatch, albida33, FurfacesLL, Joolay, Sol de Lune, LuckyL1On, MinnieK, Fitzy_65, Tankengine, DTY73, Aykayem and me went around Albury and found puzzles, multies, trads, ALs and a virtual etc.To save log space we are signing as CIA (aka Canberra invasion of Albury). The puzzles were all quite interesting, the hides sometimes hard. Sorry for the generic logs. Caching in the group makes logging hard.TFTC
Day 2 of our Canberra trip to Albury and a few extras in our group today. Signing as CIA for Canberra Invasion of Albury. Tftc
#18920; Day 2 of the Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023 weekend, which had been preceded by much head scratching and puzzle solving to prepare. Our merry band comprised of Sol de lune, albida33, Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, Barb2e and isopeda, along with yours truly, were joined by dty, tankengine, aykayem, minniek and fitzy_65 for a day of action today. Started the day to the north of town and then worked our way south, east and west as we gathered caches. Some finds were difficult as were some of the puzzles and some were easier. Some we didn't find at all! All up 103 finds, one event at the end of the day and nine DNFs for me today. Logs were again signed CIA23. Most of the caches we found were in good order. Apologies for the generic logs, but by the end of the day, like the body, the mind was slowing down as well! Thanks to all of the cache owners for helping make a great weekend for our Canberra caching fraternity. TFTC Jorgo_Crew
Day 2 of the Canberra invasion weekend of Albury. Being ex an Canberran, I headed up to join in the fun of the weekend with LuckyL10n, Albida33, fitzy_1965, minniek, tankengine, dty73, Joolay, KittyKatch, Smittengranny, Isopeda, Barbe2e and FFLL. Today we started to the north of Albury and headed towards the CBD, grabbing caches on both sides of the freeway as we went. Lots of pre solved puzzles, along with a number of traditionals, were found during the day. Unfortunately we had a few DNF's as well. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...and the fun we had over the weekend. Logs were signed CIA (Canberra Invasion Albury)...
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and CIA23 cachers on a quick Albury invasion! Thanks Jorgo_Crew!
Day 2 of our Canberra (plus 3) Invasion of Albury. It was a beautiful sunny day as we set out in search of presolved caches. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches that enticed us down here. Cache found and log signed as CIA or CAI.
Day 128 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 127 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home, well sort off. Goal is to tick off LGA's and missing sectors in 360 degrees from home. With that goal in mind, we are heading across the border today to tick off Toowong LGA, gathering smilies as we travel.TFTC TB's visited
Exploring around Rutherglen with Wicky. She's not great on road trips, so plenty of cache stops to break things up. Thanks for placing this cache!

Rutherglen Mega Road Trip
Day Three: Around Albury and Rutherglen
Weather: All over the place
Sadly dumping has sullied the approach to this one; GZ isn’t too bad. There is fallen bark everywhere, but the cache wasn’t too hard to find I thought. Being a larger size helps.
Thanks for the cache and series Jorgo_Crew
It’s officially a mega!

I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Jorgo_Crew

Found on the trip home after another awesome, annual QOGM event. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Hi nice spot, been travelling by here for years but hadn't thought to look for a cache until now.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
Good time on the prowl with JTreeTrack2! Accidentally left in my drafts for a few months!
After a couple of days of camping and caching in the Albury Wodonga area, it was the day to head home. Muggle Nephew has now become Simplylookin, and I look forward to caching the Australian Capital Territory with him in the future.
A few caches are to be found in New South Wales before heading South and back home in Victoria, and a cache or two there as well.
The weather wasn't as good as the last couple of days, but that doesn't stop caching. It is amazing how green it is; we have never been in the area when it has been this lush.
We found the cache in excellent condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Jorgo_Crew

We found it but it took a little while for us to find it! Thanks for the adventure.
TFTC. A quick stop on the way to Lake Hume. Looks like a bit of water had been through the area. Cache in good condition.. interesting Bridge to nowhere although I suspect it used to go somewhere.
I thought this might very well be washed away as clearly the area has flooded recently. But it is safe and sound with the main problem being spider webs to get to it. Found on the way out to Hume Dam. Thanks
OMG, there was water water everywhere here last night!!! Even over the bridge and had washed the cache from wherever it was originally as we found it on all the debris!
We replaced it sitting behind a tree where it possibly may have come from.
TFTC… we are having an adventurous day after all this rain!!!
It’s difficult to see the mess in the photos but it is easily seen around and over the bridge. A gaping hole has been washed out of the bridge.

Out caching with JOELISA on this fine December day. Our second cache on the way to complete some of the border loop series. Great views I’ve always loved driving this road. Simple find, Thankyou!
Hi there Jorgo_Crew, we found your cache Crew Goals - A Bridge to No Where today.
This was a nice, quick, find after waiting through kneehigh grass. We dropped a trackable into the cache.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.

Quick find while out for a Sunday drive. Lovely to highlight a bridge that you'd normally drive straight past. Very excited to find a trackable! TFTC
Out and about running some errands and we thought we would grab a cache or two for world Geocaching day, and this was cache number two.
We can remember when the road used to go over the POI that is now in the middle of the paddock, oh how the new road is a billion times better than the old original one....
Anyway, dad went solo again and once again found the cache really easily as it was lying out in the open, so it was another quick sign of the log book and a TB drop, and all was left was to perform the silly walk out to try and not get the shoes and pants all wet...
Cheers

When the fog finally burnt off, we went on a short trip thru Albury to part of the BL series with BettyBoo3747.
Collected a few Animal Climbers (Adventure Lab caches), a few other trads, and a long solved mystery.
A very cute little bridge. Although I suspect the railing is probably the main support atm!
A good sized cache off the road here.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17333. Another beautiful early winters day so Robmc and I headed back to the border, firstly for shopping and then caching. We collected 3 more of the Animal Climbers Adventure Lab, a lot of the Border Loop and a few others along the way. A good day out and about amongst the fresh air and green scenery.
What a cute little bridge. We certainly would never have seen it if not for this cache. A quick find of the good sized container and we continued on our way.
Thanks Jorgo_Crew
