Cache is no longer there, time to let someone else have a cache here... So long and thanks for all the fish

On our way home from a weekend of caching on Fraser Island, triple turmoil and I decided to grab a few target caches on the way home. We decided to head to Noosa and do a little night caching and grab a few caches in the area and ones that were of particular interest. This was the one that was of most interest to me as it had a particular attribute I was chasing.

We searched the area thoroughly and decided to contact the CO for a hint and a possible replace if required. With the CO’s permission we replaced the container in a new spot and one that hopefully creates a little shock fun for cachers. We signed the log and replaced the new container under the left hand side of the light pole base. Thanks for the initial placement. And with that we were on our way to the next target for the night.

Didn't happen for us today. Thanks anyway.

Have stopped off a few times before but muggles have always only allowed for a quick look. While doing a nearby AL. noticed no one around the park so dropped by and picked up the cache . Thanks WallabyWanderers for the cache.

Found it. Slowly picking off the caches in Noosa and regions. Have placed a similar nano cache, so I knew what to look for.

I had a dnf on this one a little while ago and had another look today and it was there! Sometimes you need to just come back! Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks WallabyWanderers for the cache.

Found on a nice little walk from the accommodation. I was closely followed by a family on the way to the park so I took my time enjoying the view before starting my search.

On holidays decided to test out the caches thanks

After a work retreat finished at RACV resort nearby, I went for a little drive to score a smiley.
Parking was easy here so I came on over. The cache was not where I expected but is certainly a safe and secure spot where I soon put my hand right on a familiar shape.
Enjoyed the surrounds on a very attractive day so TFTC!

Ha ha. Great clue. Didn’t sign as came to Noosa for day and didn’t expect to GC. No pen!!! TFTC.

Lots of hidey places for the small prize, but thankfully the hint has proved helpful. Nice little park worth a short visit. Log is extremely full. TNLNSL TFTC

Thanks for getting me to stop at this cute little reserve.
Found at exactly the spot I thought when I entered the park.
Unfortunately I literally don’t have access to a pen in Noosa so photo attached as proof

Wow!! Free real estate in a prime Noosa area :0 There's a lovely tree for shade, the jetty and water views. We found it easy to get a park too! The cache is definitely there and any work that was being done that fenced it off is now complete. Thanks for showing us this plot WW, I always thought it was vacant private land.

Looking at Co-ords again, out by 20 meters, no idea why, but hopefully it should fix the dnf issue

Wanted to find at least one cache on our visit to Noosa. Hoped this would be the one, but had no luck finding it.

A day in and around Noosa exploring and picking up a few caches along the way. I had 2 goes at this as workmen were nearby the first time. I am pretty sure the hiding spot is currently fenced off...I checked possible spots but the place I wanted to check and fitted the comments of logs was not accessable.

Caching on a short break in Noosa. Found on a windy, Thursday morning. even the road was quiet so no problem with muggles or drawing attention. As previously logged, co-ords are 20 mts off but description and hint give a geocacher more than enough to find. TFTC WallabyTim

spend a good amount of time here, but inaccurate coords meant it was hard to pin point one location, and all my suspicions proved to be false. thanks anyway

After reading other logs we realized a wider search was required here. Found the cache about 20 m away from where the GPS was showing GZ.

The main game today was at Noosa and involved walking, swimming, and the obligatory I was to content to drive while my geo-buddy navigated more competently than usual. He has been known to go on the blink

We found ourselves about 20 metres off the actual spot of this cache as that is where the GPS brought us to. After a few minutes of searching we decided to read the logs and then widened our search. Didn't get nutty and the cache was soon in hand! TFTC WallabyTim.

Thought I would have to give this one a miss as there were a couple of workmen at the park. Once I got to gz I found I was hidden from view by their van so could retrieve and replace the cache without being found. Tftc

GPS wanted me on the road so didn't think that could be right! Tried a few places then used geosense after reading a couple of logs. Lots of muggles but soon had the pot. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand and TFTC.

Our last day camping at Dunethin Rock Scout Camp.
Todays trip was towards Noosa. Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.

Found during a break nice day for catching tftc

Continuing on our Noosa adventures today seeking out more Hidden Creatures in some pretty parks. We pulled up, thought must be one spot and started to head over but gps had other plans, which was lucky as that other spot was a bit muggly.
Checked out a couple of spots, then J had his hand on it. Pretty quick overall.

The GPS had us about 20 metres away. Mrs HeMaLuDy had searched two sides of GZ while looking for items that a magnetic cache might attach to, but had not been lucky. Mr HeMaLuDy finally took pity and came out of the car to help search and placed his hands on the cache in the first place he looked. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.

After chasing the gps for what felt like an eternity, we gave up and used our caching senses.... a good hide, but muggles galore....

Didn't find that one - I searched within a 20m radius. My 1st guess was the water pipe, but no luck

Did someone say that only a catcher would know where to look? Coords were well away from GZ....at least by my gps

Parked the car nearby and then it was just a short walk over to gz. I read the hint, which helped, just a little. Spent a long time searching before I could narrow it all down. A nice little park here by the water on a perfect day. Then it was back to the car and onto the next one. Found with SmudgeyCat DG. TFTH

Easy find just follow rhe clue

We had to have another crack at the one down the road but we didn't have a ladder in out suitcase and team work wasn't quite enough. However in stopping at Ravenwood Park Mr KE managed to red3em yesterday's effort and put his hand immediately on the cache here. GPS read 18m away from gz. But we will take it.

No luck finding this one. GPS never got below 7m and there were lots of possible places that matched the hint but none seemed to reveal the cache. Time to carry on with the morning walk

Loved this series of Park caches. Challenging but doable. Hints and descriptions well thought out. Spent about 4 hours walking the many tracts that connect them. The GPS on this one had me a bit out but once I widened the search and read the clue the options were limited. TFTC

We are on the Sunshine coast for a while visiting with our friends who have come in from the USA. This was one of the caches we were able to find. We enjoyed showing them around this scenic location. Thankyou WallabyTim for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area

Number three on the WallabyTim park trail today. Out with dickbev and even though they had a prior log the fact that this cache had to be moved gave us a new challenge. Needed the comment that "only a geocacher would look here" to keep us going. Took a while and I am reluctant to have to say that Dick helped me with this one. TFTC WallabyTim

Heehee another sneaky little cache put out by my amazing geohubby WallabyTim. He picked me up from work yesterday and I wanted to grab a few of his new caches (and ones I hadn't signed yet!). Sadly as noted, this cache had to moved. The original location was fantastic but kept going missing. This one shouldn't though. Only a geocacher would find it! No-one else would ever be looking here!

Up the Coast to visit relatives and find a cache or two.
