Heading to Longreach for the last QOGM with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506.We stopped along the way to pick up a few caches and signed the log as PDGC.(Papi Drovers Geoturtle Crackers)Thanks to all the Co's for making this trip, more enjoyable. Signed and replaced as found.

11-Sep-23
We are heading up to Longreach for the last QOGM with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 naturally stopping to grab any caches that come on the map aiming to get as many LGA's as we can.

We booked into the caravan park here but it was a bit early to pull up stumps so we thought that we would head north and pick up this cluster of caches. We are glad we did as most of the hides were a nice quick find and all the logbooks now contain our acronym. Apologies for the generic log but it was close to happy hour and our mind was on that.

To save room in the log we signed PDGC (Papi Drove Geoturtle Crackers)

Thanks for the cache

We'd just finished hiking in the bungles and were on route to tooraweenah for refreshments and a look loo but on our way we decided we should try for at least one of the caches along this stretch of road. Plenty of room here to park so it got the nod.
A nice fast find just as the rain began. Glad I'm still not up the mountain in that!
Thanks to the CACHE owner for this placement giving me a smiley to mark my travels on the map.

Picked up a trackable.
Many thanks Waz and Vik for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

Easier to see it than actually get to it. We too hope the snakes are still sleeping. Excited to find this nice set of caches along this lovely road. We have just spent a lovely day and night walking and hiking in the warrumbungals. What a fabulous place. We will be back. Left a trackable

06-Sep-22
We have the Warrumbungles in sight. They look enticing but sadly we do not have time to visit on this trip. They're on our list as a must!
Another appreciated quick find.

As we work our way home we traveled from Moree to Tooraweenah today picking up a few caches as we traveled and then around town after we had set up. We were surprised to find a new Adventure Lab in Tooraweenah which we had not seen in setting up for the trip. We duly did it, an interesting trip round town although we did struggle with phone reception on both Telstra and Optus.
Largely trads today.

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Waz and Vik.

Dayboro trip. Day 14. I spent the night in Moree and began the next leg of my journey south to Tooraweenah. It was good to get some caches in each of the towns I passed through including Narrabri. It was a nice day and getting cooler as I went.

The set of caches on the way to Tooraweenah and the area around town drew me to stay the night here. It was a great drive to each one and only long grass causing problems. The Van park was fantastic with very welcoming hosts.

Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik

Taking the tourist route out of coona this morning, after we'd had our fill in the NP I noted a handful of caches on the road leading out and convinced the muggle man to stop more than a couple of times to add a few smilies to my geomap out here. This one was nowhere near the start of finish of our tourist drive, but found quickly in the obvious spot. Thanks for the good size find here Waz and Vik / TCP3OH.

We weren’t sure if we would go in for this one since everything was so wet and muddy, however Mr Domsky braved the wet and cold and dived in and soon had what was needed.
Log signed and we continued on our drive today.

Heading from Brisbane to Canberra over a couple days, Coming from Armidale this morning to visit the Warrumbungles we had a lovely time visiting the lookout (climbed up from below Smile) for the EarthCache and doing the road tourist loop 1 picking up a few traditional caches along the way. This was a great detour before heading for home again.

Quick and easy find on a good stretch of country road. Loved the views to the Warrumbungles. TFTC TCP3OH.

We had a fantastic day trip out from Coonabarabran to here in Tooraweenah, finding 15 caches out of the 15 we attempted - no DNFs! We saw some amazing views of the Warrumbungles, which we hope to explore tomorrow, and we really enjoyed finding every single cache, and having lunch in the pub in Tooraweenah. Thanks very much to the cache owners for placing them - once again we've been brought to a place we would never have known about were it not for geocaching.
A quick easy find. TFTC!

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...

I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :

Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Eight found, counting this cacher
20 caches of size "Large" - none found so far
One letterbox in Qld - none found so far
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.

I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.

We've left Dubbo, been through Gilgandra, with two caches to show for the day so far. I noticed a few "Regular" sized caches up this road, so here we are looking for them. As I was nearing here, I saw the views, then the lookout, so I had to stop for those as well as the cache. The views are magnificent, the lookout is brillianr, and there's a cache here as well. The dogs had a good walk here as well, as I spent quite some time looking at the views and the displays. Great spot

Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total

Find no 5 of 16 today.
Thanks, Waz and Vik
