Needing yet another multi on a unique date, I spotted this one along my route today, and pulled in or I would have if not for the yellow line all along here. Wow. Not very family friendly! I parked in the shopping centre and walked back instead.Next problem was a random bloke sitting on the hammock with EarPods in. I didnt want to scare him by sneaking up on him so I took a circuitous route around. This meant I couldnt work out the value of B but hoped logic would determine it.On the bench, I failed in my first calculation because I headed over the road to what looked a good spot, except that I soon realised I must be on private property. After a hasty retreat, I tried again and this time I was right. The cache was IPS though also somewhat buried which I think makes it pretty safe. All inside was dry so TFTC. Back near my car, I had lunch at Christophers. Looks like a local landmark and I was very happy with it.

OMGoodness I have been here 3 times and I finally get to score a find. Thanks to the co’s for doing a check on this one and also getting the council to clean up the park.

This made for finding the cache coordinates a little easier. I wondered around and found the cache where my new numbers put me. I signed the log and returned the cache as found.

Thanks for the maintenance and the hide, a nice multi.

Kudos to Logan City Council and in particular Todd Preussner for prompt action in cleaning up a waypoint (see photo below) on the Multicache in Daisy Hill Park.
Here is the response I received:
Hi Rod,
I went to Daisy Hill park today and cleaned out the pit and stepping stones.
Happy Geocaching

Having spent the last week at home to avoid the extreme heatwave it was time to get out for some fresh air & exercise. I did have issues getting a green tick from the checker & had to double check my numbers. Subsequently I had to resort to some digging in the circle which was filled with rubbish & sticks to realise that I would need a little help. As a result I had to resort to a PAF as there was just too much in there to remove myself. With confirmation of my other numbers & intel on what I couldn’t see in the circle I soon had the go ahead. With solved coordinates it was a quick find of the neatly camo’d container. TFTC

Next, Mr Curious Quest and I headed to this cache. We gathered the required information and sat down to work out GZ. We double checked our numbers and couldn't find anything wrong. It was possible that one of our answers was wrong as one of the features was filled with mud and covered in branches so our answer for this one was possibly wrong. After trying to force the checker, I decided that another of our answers must be wrong. I made a PAF, who confirmed that another answer was wrong. Turns out that we had misread a question. Help was given for the muddy, branch covered feature. Calculations done again and we got the green light from the checker. Off to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC

Visited the park about a month ago but couldn’t get numbers right. Had an appointment to get to and eventually got the numbers right. Back in the area again today to find, go to get my phone out but had left it at home. Thought I have a go trying to find and thanks to previous log cache found. TFTC RoddyC.

After having Renaldo’s software updated I decided to reward myself with a cache or three… although not a complicated multi, I still managed to get one number wrong, but my alternate worked…

Once at GZ I only gave the caches hiding spot a cursory examination and then proceeded to go round in circles for a few minutes before returning to my original spot and with a makeshift tool found the cache…

The log was a little damp so I added a snap lock bag… tftc…

Found on a caching morning with friends.
We did the calculations last time we were here but cache had gone missing.
Noticed it was back in play so this was our first stop today. This was an enjoyable multi, none the less it was good to be able to sign off on this one on the third visit.

What a lovely little park, with plenty of interesting features! There is unfortunately a bunch of council (I think) vehicles parked here, with a temporary fence around, and it is pretty ugly. However, the features visited in solving the puzzle were interesting. We made a mistake in first calculating- while we answered one question literally (that proved to be correct), another one we weren't so literal and didn't get the right answer at first. After fixing our error, we had a GZ and headed to the spot. We were visiting on a maintenance trip with the CO, and as it had gone missing, the CO replaced it and we signed the log.

TFTC!

After picking up the final cache for our mystery museum gems nearby, I decided to grab one more cache before heading home. Looked at this one and thought it wont take long to do.
Arrived at the start point, gathered the info and sat down to work out the finals.
Put coords into checker and got not correct. What? Looked at numbers again, re-entered them into the checker.. incorrect... What?
Went around the wp's again then stopped and pondered on one re-reading the question. hmmm... What if? Altered my numbers and checker still said no.
What am I doing wrong? One other number seemed to may need tweeking. Changed my numbers, re-worked my final answer and FINALLY the checker gave me the green light.
GPS sent me to the fence but couldn't find it in the fading light now.
Checked all likely spots until I thought, what about here? Sure enough, there it was.
Boy do I make things harder then they are. SL then returned as found.

TFTC RoddyC for the interesting multi.

A nice quiet little park! A quick walk to gather the numbers then I sat and worked out the coords. GZ looked good so off I went and made a quick find. Log and bag are a little wet. Thanks for the relaxing multi RoddyC!

Another catch up day with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad for some puzzle solving. And of course there's a few caches to gather as well.

One just for me as we were going past. The container has settled again into the hiding spot and little ants have made it their home! TFTC, RoddyC.

Out for a roll on Evie this morning. A bit of a chilly start, but still warm enough for short sleeves.

I drive by this park every time I visit Daisy Hill to go mountain biking. Today it was a visit to cache.

I rounded up my numbers and went to the shelter to do some calculations. GZ looked good, so off I went.

A nice quick find here thanks. Big Grin

On a beautiful winter morning I made my way into the park to hunt for a cache. Sometime ago I was here trying not to look inconspicuous (which is hard when your mum keeps telling you how beautiful you are) but a Council truck drove up into the park and some boys got out to have their lunch. Abort! Abort!

Judging by how unkempt the grass is starting to get I had to assume they would be back soon, so set about quickly gathering the required information. I read the questions carefully and regathered all the information I had last time. The checker agreed with me logically but probably not cognitively.

Over I went to GZ and of course went too far before a course correction brought me back to the item I was chasing. Now I just need to take a quick nap in the hammock before heading to the office to start some work. tftc

Really like how this multi takes you on a tour of this small park as you get the info...only miscalculated one clue before getting it right and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!

After doing the Lake Dennis puzzle this morning, I thought one more challenge was in order before heading back to our accommodation for breakfast. This multi didn't look too daunting, so stopped off here to give it a go.

Most of the info was easy enough to gather, although it does pay to read the questions carefully. Once I had calculated some final co-ords, I couldn't get the geochecker to connect from my phone, so on the assumption I had them correct, I headed off to look.

Sure enough, once near GZ, an obvious hiding spot came into view and yes, there was the cache. Added my signature and replaced as found. Nice to complete another multi, which I am not usually that keen on, as they can sometimes take quite a while to complete. This one however just took a nice 10 minutes from parking the cache mobile to heading off again. TFTC

On a mission to get to 50 multis to complete a challenge and stopped off here. Nice muggle free park and soon had the required info to make the find. Also found two other things at GZ, lots of ants in the cache which I had to fight off to get the logbook and a toy orca which I can wash to use for swag somewhere else.

Well I had just finished a pretty cruisy night shift so since I still had plenty of energy I decided to stop off and grab a few geocaches on my way home Big Grin
This one has been on my target list for a while now, and today was the day!
I managed to stuff up my calculations the first time around, and that was entirely due to incorrectly reading one of the questions which put my numbers out by one numeral! Since I was pretty sure the cache wasn't going to be hidden in someones back yard. I knew I had to redo my figures, and luckily spotted my mistake.
An easy find at ground zero, but cache container had been water logged (where it sits fills up with rain water). No problems with the rite in the rain log sheet though Smile
Thanks for the multi cache RoddyC Smile

Have often passed this park, but have never stopped in, so it was nice to do so today. B & Y had to be tweaked a couple of times to get the geochecker happy, but once we did it was an easy find from there. Ants galore today, especially as it’s about to storm .

23-Oct-17
I struggled with this cache and couldn't get the numbers to align so had to seek help from CO. I sent off what I had and got a couple of x's. All checked and maths done and finally got the green light to go. Had a meeting tonight so raced off to turn this little set of orange boxes into a Smilie, very easy when you have the correct numbers. Signed log which was damp and the ink in the previous names was running. Replaced where found now to my meeting. TFTC

With a free day, a plan was hatched to ride my new Merida around Karawatha, followed by a few hours touring around the suburbs of Logan.

Another nice place for a multi. The info was quickly found first time round, but then I got bogged down in trying to get the numbers the checker liked. Seemed my numbers were solid, but then I realised some were prone to a slight difference in perspective, wording or interpretation. After adding a number of red crosses to the checker, I finally got the green light. I had to wrestle sone big ants for possession of the container but I finally won Smile.
The clue still makes no sense to me.

Thanks for the hunt **RoddyC**, this find makes Smile #4170. Discover our TB

Great puzzle!
Signed and put back in hiding spot.

07-Sep-17
Found it but needed a hint from the CO as my GPSr said it's 20m away from the coords that the checker confirmed. TFTC

10-Aug-17
I worked my way through the waypoints and collected the information. After sitting down to work out the new coordinates and finding that they put me in someone's living room, I looked at the questions again and saw that there was a couple of ways of interpreting a couple so I played around with my numbers until I had some which looked more respectable. I looked around there but couldn't spot the cache so I made a PAF call to checked my coordinates were correct.

My PAF had to call me back and while I was waiting I wandered around the rest of the park looking for likely hiding spots. My PAF rang me back and verified that I had my calculations correct. I was also given a visual clue and I looked around and noticed a spot which I had checked out during my walk around and I had actually put my hand centimeters from the cache.

After attending the nearby Signal Visits the Koalas Event this was our second new listing to attempt. Loved gathering all the required information in this quaint little park and once the new WP was put into the GPS we were on our way to a nice quick find.

*FTF* Joint
Attended an Event nearby and along with EatSleepCacheRepeat and RhoboCacher, we were lucky enough to win a draw to find this cache as FTF. Great little park, and yes there were some frogs around.
Being a multi we had to do some working out. Found the cache - yeah. TFTC RoddyC's.

01-Jul-17
While attending the event I was one of the lucky ones that managed to win a *ftf* with EatSleepCacheRepeat and Richmond Lad. We set off keen to get it and because the others were not familiar with the area and I was as I grew up in a neighbouring suburb I was the human GPS. We got there and saw a cute lil park that doesnt look like it gets used much`. We did our calculations and started looking with no success. Once we re-checked our numbers and got a different way of thinking we found it easily tucked away. TFTC Smile

Attended a very well organized event today. My name was drawn for the FTF but we were still on our way to the venue from another event.
Found this one with the help of other geocachers.
TFTC RoddyC. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely place!

A lovely walk through the park to gather the information required. Loved this little puzzle and the multi with great questions and a nice final hide. Thanks for showing us this little park RoddyC's. We enjoyed our visit and were glad to add our name to the log. Cheers and happy caching!
