Today StreetWalkerNZ and I are exploring Yorketown and some localities further east, using caches as our tour guide.Noticed the fav points, and the size (large), so couldn't pass it by. Ha-ha. Not sure what I was expecting, but certainly not this. I can't believe this has remained unmolested for so long! TFTC.
A short trip today after a frustrating fishing trip was cut short by weather. Great to see a large cache no matter what shape it takes. Found the dismantled cache and log under the tree. Everything was dry so reassembled everything. Thanks for the unusual cache equipe de cinq.
Is that real or fake? Mmm very cool. Out doing the mosaic walk with Kayche23 and molly squib. Tftc
Found with Clive Staples and Squib Esquire on the mosaic walk! MerryCache-mas! Tftc
Goldy is returning to Yorke Peninsula with a friend, who has recently signed up for geocaching under the name "goldyscacheelf".We are exploring the eastern side of Yorkes before heading to Marion Bay for the night.I'm showing him the ropes on caching, as he is still new to the game.We are grabbing more large caches hidden by LB in the TOY series, as well as a jasmer spot I need. This wasn't part of the TOY series but a large one nonetheless. After eating lunch nearby, we swung by to check it out. The favourite points were noted, so I was curious to see it. It was definitely not what I was expecting it to be.My friend was pretty taken back by it. Pretty cool cache. Thanks equipe de cinq for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3864 on the 3rd of December 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!****Only 88 days to go!**

Quick park and grab with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. Good camouflage although the wind had blown it over. Thanks for placing it.
We went for a run from Edithburgh to Sultana Point and walked back collecting all the caches along the way. Cool container. TFTC

Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventur. We set off in sunshine today, a perfect day for Geocaching. TFTC a nice quick one here.
Ah equipe de cinq, your language is mixed up a bit here, and your caches are always nearby no matter where I travel. I did a lap before I saw the lid. How it remains here I never know. Thanks for the placement, and bringing me here to this part of Yorkes. Find #6790 at 2.11pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
My partner and I took the opportunity for a long weekend away relaxing and touring the lower end of Yorkes. The trip was weighted more on the relaxing than the geocaching, but I managed to pick up the odd one here and there as we toured around.

Our 3rd days break in Edithburgh away from the rat race. A different hide but easily found. Thank you for the placement of the Черный буй cache equipe de cinq find number 8574 on 3 November 2021 at 11:32 am
Love the hide even though we have no idea what the description really means.
Day 5 of caching Gone Fishn’ trail on Yorke Peninsula and a few off trail trads today for a bit of variety with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Wearing gloves and gators even though it’s cloudy and poured rain for most of the morning, it’s getting warmer and the less tourist friendly wildlife are on the move. Adding to the thrill of finding each cache was the view of perfectly grown cereal crops almost harvest ready forming a tapestry across the hills, some starting to crop with mega harvesters. Along the way were the odd blue tongue lizards, huge centipedes, camel statues, flighty spiders, horses and alpacas, birds nesting and singing away, the obligatory late afternoon flies, and the biggest beetles, and of course what would a cache day be without upsetting a few ants!
Today’s lunch was enjoyed at Edithburg, the afternoon was die Adventure Labs and the sun was finally out and the breeze light making our visit even more beautiful.
Our afternoon was eventful with some different wildlife, we watched a brown snake slither across the road at Marion, had a kangaroo race us at 50kph, even met some curious emus and their chicks, saw a school of fish near the shore and a huge pod of dolphins, what a great day!
So much effort has gone into setting up these trails, today’s trail was an easy run, pulling up and jumping out, spotting the rock, post or sticks and quickly on to the next one, unlike the previous days where a few caches were tricky to find, some were under bushes that are now trees, some were found in undergrowth that has overwhelmed the hide, some were under rocks when they were hinting to look in a bush or post or tree. For the rest, most were easy, some were duplicated and some were missing. We may have added to rock piles making a couple of cairns.
Maintenance was done by replacing full or wet logs and missing or broken containers all completed with CO permission.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
After making the drive south from Edithburgh to Sultana Point, I returned to then prepare myself heading south towards Troubridge Point. I made a stop here, and I was quite surprised to what I found... certainly unexpected! A great construction, and I cannot believe how long it has survived in such a random spot. Consequently, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks equipe de cinq for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
К счастью, сегодня на меня никто не смотрел, и я смог приблизиться к месту высадки, чтобы получить приз в виде тайника.
