This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

So disapointed not to find this one, we thought it would be simple, wrong again!!
We searched and searched all possible locations that matched the clue, and previous logs, but no luck today.
Driving past thought. I would check the cache. There is no one around. No room to sign. Thanks.
Woo!! Turned this frown upside down today turns out on my first visit I was on the complete wrong side! But today my search didn't take long and there weren't very many muggles when I came by. Tftc!
This one was a quick walk-up. It's an impressive mural.
Good one, thanks rinsemesocks.

rinsemesocks I found your cache Petersham Landmarks #7 on 6/1/19, 3:33 pm. This is my find 2230 and find # 12 today. Great mural and after a brief search, soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Since November 5th I study Englisch at ILSC for 1 month. After the school I walked around and was searching some caches. Here I found the box quickly.
Thanks for the cache from Bonn, Germany

After a Christmas lunch at the nearby club just had to find a cache. There were 82 retired Telstra/Telcom/PMG there. I guess that is not that surprising as Telstra had 84 thousand employees at one stage. TFTC rinsemesocks
I am currently working here in Sydney. And when I am not working - I am geocaching.
So I found your geocache and I am happy to have a new Smiley on the map so far from home.

An evening of Geocaching around Petersham with a group of Venturers. With several pairs of eyes, we made a quick and easy find.
A bit of a stroll around the area to find some caches today while out and about. While I found all 6 I looked for unfortunately everything was a mint tin and I couldn't drop off any of the travel bugs I have had with me for too long. Kept looking in almost the right spot before I finally spotted the hide not quite where I had been feeling. Thanks rinsemesocks.
Mmmmm Petersham. Home of the best Portuguese chicken burgers and some great caches too! This one was conveniently situated between the station and our chicken. A quick find and then on to lunch! TFTC!
Today we headed over to Leichhardt, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.60 per head capped Opal Card fares, to go on a caching walk from Leichhardt North to Petersham. Also stopped off at Pyrmont for a solved mystery/puzzle cache. Utilised Bus/Train/Tram on the way over, and Train/Ferry/Bus for the return journey back to home. This was the 8th of 8 finds for the day.
After finding "West Street Troll @ Lewisham" we next arrived at this one, our last cache for the day. It had been nearly a year (Aug 2017) since I DNFed this one, since confirmed as having been muggled on that occasion, so it was good to be back at GZ to hopefully avenge the DNF. And, in stark contrast to the previous visit, it was a nice quick find this time around. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
It was good to be able to share the colourful murals with the rest of the geofamily this time, as the previous visit had been a solo effort. And now it's time for us to catch a train back to the city and then a ferry home. TFTC rinsemesocks.

I love when geocachers take not only the time to hide a box, but also share great locations and their stories
Great arty train entrance
Loved it

I managed the find between trains on a rainy evening as I push for the 366 goal.
Lovely spot and with memory fond memories of RMS caches here when I lived nearby.

Delighted station and walked up to a DNF at the nearby multi, so headed here for my first smiley, thanks rinsemesocks
Relatively quick and painless find. Simple sign and replace after muggles walked away. Found with ReverseG.
Foreignnebula and I started our third week through the city by taking on parts of this series. We made our way through from the station and quickly found ourselves at GZ. We had a good idea on where the hide was, but because of the trash next to it, I took precautions and put a glove on before picking it up. Log was quickly found and signed, and given that it was Easter Sunday, we had the relative leisure to place it back without rushing.

Again just the one today. Tonight is Sydney FC's first Asian Champions League match this year (don't ask). So on the way I swung by this one, hoping for a quick find.
Well, it was but the main delay was waiting for sooooooo many muggles. In about my third search I got my fingers on it. Took it away to complete signing duties and then... that'd be right - no muggles to be seen when it's time to replace!
Replaced and off to the match.
Nice mural. Worth a favourite for the location.

We have driven past this mural many, many times without ever stopping for a look. Mr Ozjeeper was on a Petersham-cache tidy-up today and was rewarded by a closeup view of this different kind of artwork. The placement of scattered mirror tiles makes the experience a little more personal since passersby become part of it for just a moment.
Challenging one! As previous log said, a little trust is needed for this one. Thanks for showing us the mural! Found with @marshisious. Geocaching journey being recorded on Instagram: @debruhh__ TFTC!
I walked around to this one from the last as Rainbow Spirit drove. I made the find just as he pulled up.

Working on a streak means I need a cache, even on Christmas Day.
This one is 1.77km from home so after the presents were opened and before I started cooking our evening feast we enjoyed a walk to GZ.
A quick grab at a very attractive street mural

As I’m familiar with the RMS style of hide, I went straight to the likely site. But being so close to a gate meant that I had to move several times for muggles emerging to have their smoko on the street. Just as I went in for the grab I was surprised by the smokers and dropped the container. Luckily geopooch was my alibi and I could collect the fallen cache and sign away. Love the little mirror tiles in the mural, and that it extends up the street. Thanks for bringing me and the geopooch here RMS.

In the area, and needed a quick find, I know this COs hides by now, and this one is typical.

Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area and decided to stop for this one. Once at GZ we soon spotted the hide. We noticed a loose tile on the side of the mural and unfortunately it came right off while we extracted the cache. We were able to replace the tile but it's not glued in. TFTC.
In the area with Trodectus, parked nearby and walked to GZ, CIH after short search. Log signed and returned. TFTC
I am in town with a few hours spare before I need to be in the rocks for beers at 3:30 and got it in my head that I would walk my way cache to cache from Lewisham into town. It's probably for the best that I have no step counter or I might doubt the enjoyment I've gleaned from my jaunt.
This was my fourth find for the day and was located without fuss as I casually leaned against the wall. It just took some patience and a wee tad of confidence to do the business in front of passing commuters but got it done in the end.
My thanks to the cache owner for being my guide today. Cheer cheer!

Again using my new searching technique I found this one pretty quickly. But on first pass I did miss it and a prior log was helpful. TFTC #433
With this find my Personal Caching Challenge for 2017 is now complete - Woo Hoo!!!
I walked here from my find at Lewisham. Its not far and I was encouraged by being able to see Petersham Station in the distance gradually getting nearer.
Once here I walked past the familiar mural which I checked out last time I was here during the cache missing era, to the new GZ. This is a much better location as you are more obsecured from passing muggles. Actually for the few minutes I was here there were none either on foot or in vehicles which was very surprising.
I was concerned by the hint that as so many times before this would be difficult to reach but this time the description was perfect, even for vertically challenged me!
Signed the log and visited some TBs then headed off to PL#2.

On a cache + chicken + coffee + cake tour of little Portugal this was the first cache of the day. Jomingara was all over it without the hint. The weather was a bit chilly this morning but it soon warmed up...
Love the Portuguese influence on Petersham. Good spot for geocaching too! Found this one quickly so I could get a Belem tart. Such a good way to start the day.
Glad to finally have this one back as this was our only unfound cache in the area. Came past tonight and were able to make a quick find TFTC
Find 5 of 5 while out on a stroll around the Lewisham/Petersham area this morning.
After a short stroll from the TAFE cache, this location was a nice surprise! Another piece of great street art in the area. After admiring the mural the cache was a quick find in a logical spot.
Thanks for the cache RMS, another top location.

After dinner we decided to grab a few more caches on the way home.
Coords were a bit out for this one, leading behind the gate, so without being familiar with the area I tried finding a way around but quickly realised it was Private Property.
I then made a quick find in the closest logical spot.
Thanks again!

Beautiful weather on a long weekend Sunday calls for some caching action. So Smigglepot and I wandered around the Petersham area to visit the caches there.

This first one was quick and easy. Probably a lot more tricky on a weekday during peakhour.
