I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Came back with a friend and sadly this has definitely been muggled and missing.

We couldn’t find the book either. But we gave the library a nice tidy up. Someone must have it.

Found in a sad state, no log book and top broken off. Awesome cache but needs some attention

One of several caches located today as we travelled around the Tutukaka Coast and on to Paihia. Picked this one up on a walk after dining out nearby. As previous loggers have advised, the logsheet has gone. Unfortunately I didn’t have a replacement with me. Took the attached photo instead. #4631. TFTC.

Such a cute cache, however the logbook is missing and the front cover of the book is broken so needs maintenance. TFTC though!

As per other comments the book is a bit worse for wear. Moved it so it wasn’t ‘front & centre” for all.

Found with DeadRockFlower and Reebuck on our way to the mtb park. Has been muggled, with the front cover broken and the cache empty - no sign of any log or otherwise. So frustrating when that happens! Really appreciate you placing it here, a lovely spot. Tnlndsl, Tftc!!

Found with Kiwiterm and Reebuck. Sadly the book has been ripped open and log etc is missing. So could not sign log.

I love these Little Library caches! Signed temporary log placed by Phronimos. Northland is always a favourite place to re-visit - except having to get through Auckland first .

Very cool cache and container, but the container looks damages and there was no log to sign.

Found where it was but it's been damaged that nothing is there, case is very damaged

285. Found while waiting for our Fish and Chips. Have seen this Library before but that was before we started caching. Cache is in high need of Maintenance. Would be really cool if was not broken. Hope the owner can fix this one. No logbook but there is no point on putting one in there because it will just go missing again.

Called in here due to the very high favourite count but this was somewhat underwhelming, sorry.
The particular book is in quite poor condition with its cover adrift of the book block with pages torn and folded. But worse there was no log to sign. In the interim I added a RITR log and we signed that. Maintenance definitely required here to bring this cache up to a standard worthy of its favourite point count.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

Walked past while walking around town and went "I bet there is a cache in there" into the shade to check and sure enough, there is. Upon entry found the right place but no log. Have added some paper, which will last a while. TFTC and a fav absolutely.

Found the little library , found the book but it was empty. Replaced log put it in a zip lock bag

School holidays, up from the TOTS to see the Far North. Easy enough to find the book, no container, no TB, just a piece of log paper. Suggest the CO clears some maintenance logs and puts a MIA note for the TB.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

No inner container and TB has been MIA for some time.

We are in the area for a week taking a break from the big smoke and this is our first trip here off season. It's not sunny and hot but it makes up for it in being nice and quiet and super easy to get around.

DNFed the multi nearby and came here to see if we could find this one and this was one was very easy to find! I have something similar in Auckland but not as grand as this one - very impressive. No issues here - quickly signed in and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache - all good here.

I was back in my homeland of Northland for a week with AliGle, showing her some of the sights and finding the occasional geocache on our travels. This was a very cool hide, hope it lasts as its no longer connected to its restraint. Fav point added. TFTC!

Clever cache and easy find on a lovely afternoon stroll around Pihia. Usually we are here for a running event, but not today. Today is our special day so we came up for dinner on the water and a relaxing evening. TFTC

What a great place for a cache and a well-constructed cache container! One of those times when it's really good to read the cache description and the hint before you start searching. There was lots of rain today so we didn't get many caches so it was good to find this one in a nice dry spot. Thanks!
