Unfortunately need to focus our time on other things now and therefore reducing our number of hides. Sadly this series doesn’t make the cut for us to maintain anymore.
Thanks to all the finders over the years.

** THE CACHE**
Didn’t take long to find this one as I just followed the pattern. Log was a bit damp but was still in good condition overall.
**THE SERIES**
I really enjoyed collecting the clues along the way. We found all the trad caches, however, the final chance appears to be missing. I have contacted CO to double check, but all in all, a really fun series!

Timely to escape the smoke and fire threats in the NE and catch up with some buddies in Somers AND get out on the MTB to explore the area and the trails since it’s not really beach weather. A fun series and another little back road. TFTC series
Second of these Aladdin series for me today. Another nice quick find at 14:00 but upon looking at recent logs on the final, I decided that the Alice in Wonderland series might be a bit more fruitful so I changed tack and headed over there.
I'll keep a watch on proceedings with this series and come back another time if there's a successful find.
TNLNSL noted clue and a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks snugglebunnies.

Caching in and around the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents in good condition.

On our way to pick up some chickens from a farm in Merricks & decided to stop and find a few caches along the way.
It was geo mums turn to find this one. Success! The log was a bit wet. Dried it out as best I could. Staple has rusted and encroaching on the clue but it can still be seen.

Well today was my last day off of my time in lieu for working so hard and one of geokids was also on a student free curriculum day and she was going shopping with my mum which was something I definitely wanted to avoid so I headed out for a few hours driving around the peninsula and it was a great few hours and I didn't even get rained on once. Doesn't get any better than that.
I still had 20 minutes or so spare so I thought I may be able to do this series. Well I did, except I couldn't find the final cache hopefully because I ran out of time and it wasn't actually missing.
The second one took my probably 10 minutes until I realised what I was supposed to be looking for based on the first one. This one I found instantly as well.
Thanks snugglebunnies for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Final day with The Morris and BettyBoo3747 in Portsea. We packed up and headed off down to Cape Schanck to do the Long Point Trail. Finishing this about lunchtime we headed off to Flinders.
BB and I completed a few others on the way home.
A last cache before we hit the free(toll) ways on the trip home.
Thanks for this little series.
Thanks, Robmc.

#16032. Robmc and I are on our way home after a few days caching around Portsea. Rob suddenly mentions a few more caches that are showing up on the radar so we decide to stop and see if we can find a few.

It was leafotwind's idea to see if we could knock off the Jack Speak series (which he'd done the virtual hard yards on), and maybe turn the outing into a 50+ day. I provided the vehicle as he's, er, between cars at the moment, and despite the weather not quite cooperating, we achieved our goal, and some.
Only one DNF, which is pretty darn good considering my usual blindness to one particular kind of hide which happened to predominate this afternoon.
Loved the care and attention that have gone into this fun little series. Nice work indeed, snugglebunnies

I had solved the series some time ago and had always intended to try and combine it with a couple of the shorter series' put out by other cachers to achieve a tally of 50 for the day. I thought some company might be in order both to add to the fun as well as provide a separate set of eyes. Nirgalagrin answered the call and a good thing too! He dialled in a little earlier than I and a number of those bisons might have taken a lot longer without him!
We did end up hitting 50 for the day and amongst those found the only 5/1 trad in the whole of Victoria by happenstance!
Thanks to all the COs who placed these caches for everyone to enjoy and indeed in the case of the Jack Speak series have maintained them for all these years.

Another visit to the Mornington Peninsula saw us completing the 4 children's themed series. Surprisingly both roads were very busy today so parking safely was important as we jumped in and out of the car in search of Jafar.
Thanks snugglebunnies for the time and effort put into these fun series for us and others to enjoy.
Thanks snugglebunnies for the time and effort put into these fun series for us and others to enjoy.
Still tired from our morning walk, we hit yet another drive by series by the same CO. Another great series of themed caches! The road was a lot busier than we expected it to be, and in bad shape for such a busy road (not the CO’s issue, I know!). Thanks so much for placing this series snugglebunnies
Out and about last night with Trailstevo, switching our normal Sunday night out to a Saturday as our wives and kids decided it was movie night. I've had my eye on a few little series of cache in the Hasting area and with an early evening escape possible off we trot.
We tackled the NWCR series first. Pretty sure I had been hear before caching, but no smileys on the map so guess they are long gone. We strolled along the sandy path for around 3km and really enjoyed the variety of cache here. A couple had us hunting around a little harder but we go there.
Then down the road to the TFR series, and again a lice walk and variety of hides and our first DNF. We will pop back another day to clean that one up.
Then we drove across to the Aladdin series collecting a number great multi's an da few drive by trads.
I think we ended up with over 30 finds. Thanks to Tidder, SnuggleBunnies, Boris&Natasha, Braniac03, BushwalkingBandit & Epsilon Crucis for the fun night out.

Big night of caching with Gunks. Must've found around 30. Finished the night with the Aladdin series and one last driveby. TFTC
We were having a pleasant Peninsula summer Sunday geocaching with the Rogdels who were keen to complete this one. snugglebunnies do attractive trails so we were happy to come along after doing tidder's TFR trail before lunch. This was the last, in hand at 3.30 pm. No passing traffic issues this time. Thank you for the hunt, snugglebunnies, and all the information on the cache page. I must have had a deprived childhood, I didn't now all that. TNLNSL, picked up clue, which was the last one needed. However, time was moving on and the desire for a sit down with a cuppa overwhelming so we took the clues home to mull over and return later.

After having a great time smashing out the Red Hill rail trail and Finding Dory by the boardwalk, we had some dinner and then tackled some caches in Hastings and toward the freeway. Another series that was fun along these dirty backroads, we found all of the caches pretty quickly. Thanks for the cache snugglebunnies.

Iago: [taking Genie's lamp] Boy, Jafar's gonna be happy to see you.
Jafar: [he switches to Jafar's voice] Excellent work, Iago.
Iago: Ah, go on.
Jafar: [again] No, really. On a scale of one to ten, you are an eleven.
Iago: Oh, Jafar, you're too kind. I'm embarrassed. I'm blushing.

Managed to make this our last find before working on the final for the series. We had a little trouble finding this one but it was just a case of over looking the cache, it had been a long day! Thanks again snugglebunnies for the hide.

Getting a bit hot today but thought I would have a go at this one before heading home. Interesting area with quite a bit of farming activity in the area. TFTC
As we got out of the car to start the search we could hear some strange noise, a bit like a loud radio or people. Over the last hill came a group of cyclists riding at a steady pace. They didn’t slow or stop talking as they passed us at the top of the hill we were on. My partner must have been feeling better than earlier in the afternoon, as he got out of the car to join me in the hunt. He found it, his first for the day. The coordinates were spot on here. He found it because he approached from a different direction to me.
Quick and easy find as son dragged dad to the beach for the first boogie-board of the summer. Great afternoon, thanks for the cache.
Out with Jascat finding caches in the Balnarring area. Neither of us had completed this series so took the drive down this road. A quick find. TFTC
This one turned out to be the easiest of all. Now, missing Genie, could I cobble together some firgures for the final?
Jafar was waiting patiently for our arrival. It was getting late and we were happy to make a quick find here. Thanks for another fun cache.
Down in the area returning my son to Navy base, picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find made here.

Jafar wasn't fooling us at all as we were very quickly on to him, he gave up his clue and now it was time to head to the final cache of this series.

The Mail Kid and I went out today and found all the clues to this well presented cache. Nice idea. Tftc
An enjoyable day geocaching with my niece "PrincessFiona" [8)] and my muggle son who drove us around (while adding to his learner driving hours). My niece had control of my GPSr while I used my phone, or my geosense.
We are now covered in dust and our socks are full of grass seeds but we are pushing on to complete this series today. This cache took a bit of searching as my niece is not keen on pushing through prickles and spider webs. But Jafar did hand over his clue and now we can return to the car to do the maths.

This cache was found in the company of abl973 as we made our way along the mostly quiet back road here. Parking was at a bit of a premium here, but with that sorted it was another quick find in the likely spot. A nice and shady spot.

I was out on an early morning pre-work caching run to pick up a few in the area. This was my fourth of seven finds on a morning that started off quite chilly but was very pleasant as the sun warmed things up. After finding the other three traditionals in the series this was the last I needed to piece together the information for the final. Found a spot to park and headed towards a likely target where I was lucky to spot the cache pretty quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and for this series snugglebunnies.

At home the sun was shining and so I took the opportunity to get out and about before the rain settled in. I had to wait for some muggles to move on before attempting but I wasn't letting go of this one because it had the last clue. I worked out the rest of the final coords while waiting. Made it back to the car just as it started raining.TFTC
First attempted series by this CO was a disaster due to roadworks; the second was quick and easy. Onto our third. A quick find with good co-ords. TFTC

The Chief had an appointment today in Mornington & it was decided a small drive afterward was in order. We'd noticed these pop up some time ago and today was the day to come and collect them. TFTC, we said hello to Jafar. He was rude but that's what you come to expect from a narcissistic despot I suppose! He did let us sign the log and collect the clue though!
Thanks snugglebunnies for the caching fun.
A great cache in a very nice spot that we wouldn't have found without the cache. Nice to know that Jafar is in a spot away from the rest of the gang!

It was a cool day with a strong wind blowing for most of the day.
We had a delightful day wandering the roads of this area finding a range of caches in varying locations.
Thanks to the snugglebunnies for this cache, we had gathered the info and now for the final!!!!!!!

I was in the company of CaptainCooper09 this arvo to find a number of nearby cashes. It was a bit cold and a little windy but we were well rugged up.
We had fun finding each of the caches in this series, one took us quite a while to locate but in the end we had all found including the final.

#995 - 4.45pm
Following the Monkey King's Mary Hyde event in Langwarrin, ahomburg and I toured around the Mornington Peninsula area. It was a very memorable day as the 24 smilies we picked up were the most I've grabbed in one day and got me to the magical #1000 mark!
Once more the hiding spot seemed obvious... only this time I was right! It was a tricky place to stop at so I parked a little further up the road and walked back down.
OMG!!!! So many cars!!!
A ute speeding westward caused the luxury car coming the other way to provide a wide berth and come to a momentary stop right next to me, under the branches of GZ!! It was so close that I could see that the front passenger had been flicking through Facebook!! Amazingly, I wasn't seen in my vulnerable position as the attention of the driver and passenger was drawn the other way towards the speeding ute... I breathed once more as they moved off.
But as I turned back to the cache, I was frozen again as the speeding ute now roared down the farm track on the other side of GZ, again only a few meters away!!
What is it with muggles today?!!!
I reckon the nefarious Jafar is behind it all!
Thanks snugglebunnies, for a memorable day out with lots of laughs and some rather bizarre moments.

We liked where this was hidden. Getting darker now so we're going to head home. Thanks for the great caches!
Great little find for the kids! The log is quite damp...have tightened the bison up as tight as I can!
After collecting the final, I had to come and collect this cache to finish the series, even though it was reported as being disabled. Cache now re-enabled, before I tried to log it, so glad I didn't save it for another day.

Chilling at home watching some youtube videos when I notice that my email went off. Ohhhhhh a new cache and only 12km away........ I can do that, with no real competition out there for a cache at this time I thought that this would be as easy as taking candy from a baby, to which it was haha. I enjoyed my leisurly drive down to the location. I know the drive here like the back of my hand. Due to the fact that I am a member of the local rover crew just around the corner. Anyways the cache was quickly found with a beautiful empty log book and all.
