Thank you. Luckily I had bought my male bestie with me who is tall otherwise my just over 5ft self wouldve been in trouble trying to reach or climb for this. Id make the difficulty in this harder as unless you can reach it with someone that can it would at times be impossible to get to. Awesome spot!
Great, in definitely.Gonna need a little person to get on your shoulders, or a ladder.
Wasnt prepared for the climb but up I went. Nope wrong one then the other.Walking back to the van I notice a couple of boys sitting on chairs in the house watching me. Oh well, smile and walked on.
I capped the munzee and did a circle around before I spotted the cache. Ahhh it's always nice when someone seven ft tall has placed it hahaha! I managed to use some natural tools to retrieve and replace the cache.Thankyou for placing and maintaining the cache series and allowing me to discover a new area.TFTCGeneric overly-detailed summation of the day:Weather report: sunny and clear, not really any windCaching conditions: muggles all preoccupied with Anzac day, GPS satellites talking nicely to my phoneSnack situation: poor - Anzac day meant lots of places were closed so I settled for some hummus and cheese and biscuits for lunch. Despite being hungry I did not eat my apples. Maybe tomorrow?Public toilet status: Plenty of toilets all throughout my cachescapades today. The worst toilet was at a BP, it was probably the dirtiest toilet I have ever seen, and I've travelled in some weird places. Best toilet was at Summerland point park.Munzee distractions: loads. Probably found the most munzees that I have in a while, but was surprised that there were some places without any munzees at all.Weirdos encountered: 4 drunks stumbling along the footpath as I walked up the street to grab dinner.("`-''-/").___..--''"`-._ `6_ 6 ) `-. Reperio 12:21Day 5 of our Newcastle geocaching escapade, and Master Vitruvius and I headed towards the Belmont and Swansea areas before making our way slowly towards Sydney. It had been a while since I have been back in this area, so it was great to be able to complete more of this series. Luckily I had Master Vitruvius to get to this one, who was able to both retrieve and replace the cache.Gratias PurpleCacheEaterAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Found at 11:33 AM GAFF1.What a great location with the water dead calm after the rain. The properties around here are magnificent - the owners must have a fantastic lifestyle - or are these just holiday homes A bit of an effort to retrieve, but some caching ingenuity came to the fore Thanks to PurpleCacheEater
Hard to spot; even harder to reach got there in the end with a little Mac on my shoulders maybe should be a higher difficulty
TFTC and a nice walk down to GZ. Im glad I was with Deni_f as he is my TOTT. What a lovely view from this spot.
Find #1766Out today with techsavvy9. Summo/Gwanda series was the target today and this was a nice stroll down to GZ. Just glad that I am tall. TFTC
Whoa, best location here from our day visiting the surrounding areas. Cool cache , we were able to retrieve with a TOTT. Thank you for taking us here. And whoa, the houses
Visiting the area, really like this spot, tranquil and great views? Spotted this one, but thought it may be a little difficult to retrieve. But ended up being a fairly easy retrieval with a tool of the trade my wife remembered I had but haven't used in a few year.
Thanks for maintaining the cache

We saw the three previous DNFs and had almost written this one off. Glad we didn't. What a beautiful area, spotted the cache straight away with the clue. Just had to work out how to reach the little blighter! Luckily my daughter is quite light and had brought her rather tall friend along! With a bit of teamwork we got it!! Lots of cheering and whooping followed! Neighbours must have wondered what was going on.
I brought my small step ladder today. It was still not quite high enough. Found the little thing though. Very sneaky, difficult to see. TFTC
Found today while out on a cache drive down to the Dora Creek area. Had an amazing time looking for a bunch of caches down here!

This was pretty cool....
We DNFd this back in 2018 - we could see it, but then it became lodged in deep....
my log then - "If I were to try again, I'd bring a small step ladder and some needle nose pliers and wire! CO may want to check this hide now."
After a DNF recently, when we were unprepared (my shoulders are still bruised from having a 12 year old stand on them), we came back with the gear I suggested in 2018.
And of course there it was - little bugger! But after carefully extracting it from its cranny (under the watchful binocular-enhanced eyes from a balcony above) , something seemed weird - this was an *old* nano. Seized closed too - lucky we had those pliers! A 2018 vintage one in fact - yep, signed right up to the Mighty Minions, right before our first DNF.
I scoured the rest of the structure, and doubt I missed any more easily accessible cache. So the 2018 cache has been rehidden - but it is possible there are two there now....
It was pretty cool to return just over 4 years later after a DNF and find the exact cache we DNFd - like a tiny little time capsule.... Thanks!

Log a new visit the webpage says - yep, another DNF.... all because I didn't take note of my own advice....
From Feb 2018 - "If I were to try again, I'd bring a small step ladder and some needle nose pliers and wire!"
So now I sit here with bruised shoulders, as my assistant from 2018 is now 12, and a little heavier.
There's a few trigs still out this way, so we'll be back, with the dang TOTT.....

We spent 2 days camped at the Morrissett showground.
An enjoyable drive around Gwanda was had while finding caches as we went.
Had a delicious chinese take away by the waters edge.
Thanks PurpleCacheEater for placing this cache.

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, staying for a couple of nights in a park cabin at the Lake Macquarie Big4 Tourist Park in Mannering Park, to continue with our caching adventures on the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. Our previous visit to the area was in March/April 2018 for the OZ GeoMuster 2018 Lake Mac Mega Event, where our family’s chief puzzle solver had managed to solve (unassisted) a good portion of the Mega GeoArt puzzle caches that were on offer. And this new visit will hopefully see us complete most of the missing pieces of that Mega GeoArt, thanks once again to our family’s chief puzzle solver’s (unassisted) puzzle solving efforts. This was the 12th of 23 finds for the day, and 62nd of 73 finds for the weekend.
This was the next one we came to, and a quick find but slightly longer for the retrieval. Had to resort to a local TOTT to get our hands on the cache container, and to sign the log, then used the TOTT to replace. No colour matched container at this one, but the excellent hint matched the hide very well TFTC PurpleCacheEater.

First geocache we have found!
Father and two boys having a great day out.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Out for a walk found cache in full view so reattached a bit higher to keep the muggles away
After having found 'Drifted' we continued out to the tip of the peninsula which provided a beautiful view of the lake. The cache was quickly located (I liked the reference to submarines' periscopes). Some tools were required to retrieve the cache, but luckily Mother Nature provided those nearby.
We set up camp at Mannering Park and were well positioned so we could head out and do this cache series. We teamed up with the Snakepiters and enjoyed the find. Thanks to PurpleCacheEater for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
The girls droped off today, one due to feelling slightly off the other needing retail therapy, the boys went out to get the caches on the other penninsula. Another good afternoon no DNF's today, now to head home and see the damage to the credit card.

Great view from a great spot. A challenge to get it, and an even greater challenge to get it back. Using available tools nearby ... Tftc!
Wow! Just wow! What a place. Thanks for the tool nearby I had cache in hand. FP for the place!

catching up on some VERY backlogged logging while in isolation. found with banj5150 (banj ward), log has been dated back to when it was found. tftc
Out today with my bush walking club walking around summerland point area and came by this gz. A lovely spot on the lake can almost see my place from here across the lake. A quick find before walking on to finish our loop of the area tftc

This was our last find for the day. While my Poppy searched, I went to the edge of the lake and listened to the sound of the little waves breaking on the shore. I really love that sound. Poppy called me over to GZ and together, we made the find. This is such a lovely spot to come to and I really loved spending some time at the lake with my Poppy. Thanks for another find PurpleCacheEater and allowing me to log my find.

Last one for the day and again my boofy fingers struggled. I eventually managed to get the lid unscrewed and cache removed to sign it. Nice to see some caches in this neck of the woods. Thanks PCE.

Thankfully there was a TOTT nearby to help us. We are all a bit vertically challenged but that does not hold us back.
Out and about caching in the area with Tassie Trekkers after attending the OzGeoMuster over Easter in Morisset and this was one we found. There are some beautiful places around the lake, thanks for showcasing them. TFTC
While still staying at Morisset we travelled around the area with whitewebbs collecting a few caches and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Decided to grab the puzzle in this series as I had worked it out, then while we were here decided we’d grab the rest of the series. Found at the end of a lovely day’s exploring and caching with Liv_123. This one would have been impossible for us except that we bought the perfect TOTT with us. Tftc.
Had several hours to kill between morning activities and closing for the Mega so of course headed out for more finds, teaming up with Bonfire7 for this short series of PnGs. Trickiest retrieval of the series, especially as BF7 was on the phone as I spotted and somehow managed to reach the container but made him return it.
Exploring the area with mizmaz this series caught our eye so thought we had better took it on today.
We had a great day out finding all the caches.
Thanks purplecacheeater for the cache

Impossible today! And yes I climb the sign, standing on top and looking down, leaving the boats around wondering what the hell I was doing.

The previous log said they could see it but not reach it. I couldn’t seen anything.
Well, we did find it, and had eyes on it, but couldn't retrieve it. Our initial attempts at getting it out of its tight little crevice ended up in the cache now being right inside. Subsequent efforts could not get it out. At least we got the trig!
If I were to try again, I'd bring a small step ladder and some needle nose pliers and wire! CO may want to check this hide now.

I brought reinforcements to this cache today. The whole Minions team plus a tott .it was the younger members of the team who wanted to make the find and retrieval. It is nice to turn a DNF into a smiley. Thanks for the cache PurpleCacheEater tnln replaced as found sl
I know where the cache should be but i couldn't see it. I could see where someone has used a natural tott to try to retrieve something and left it poking out but I couldn't see anything and definately couldn't reach anything. i will come back better prepared
A case of think lateral and aim vertical. Interesting cache. Thought it might defeat us for a while as we did not have the reported TOTT as in a 5 year old child. All good in the end.

Easy enough to locate this little bugger, but not so easy to retrieve it ... indeed, I had to fashion a tool from what lay around me in order to coax the cache from its hiding place and then I had to crawl around the grass to get it into my hot little hands. Thanks for bringing me to this interesting little spot purplecacheater.
After a delicious fathers day brunch with family we came for a drive down this way to find a few caches and wonder around a nice part of the lake. This was the fifth stop of the day as there was once again someone working in their front yard at number 8 so we kept driving. After a short walk we found the structure and spied the cache. it was then a matter of retrieval. i knocked it down and then spent a few minutes searching for it in the bushes on the ground with the little one "helping" me. Thankfully we found it. Signed the log and then spent about the same amount of time trying to roil the log up TFTC
Found with a ferret on my shoulders..., not easy for the vertically challenged! Lovely place! 3ferrets posed for a picture. TFTH
We're out geocaching for my birthday. The whole tribe is here including the Geodog. TFTC.
I gave Mr5 a push in the right direction to grab it.

Found after work on my way to dinner. A nice drive out to this point and a nice steep walk down to the cache and trig point! Cache was almost out of reach, but I got it, unfortunately the last finders seemed to have put it together a bit askew and the log was squashed. All good now though. Enjoyed the very panoramic views from this spot.
Thanks for the great views, walk and cache!

Missing cache replaced today. Slightly amended positioning. Clue updated to reflect change. Good luck, have fun!
Perhaps I need to go to spec savers? A DNF for me even though I'm confident I was looking in the correct spot. Tfth -lovely area
This one was straightforward, I just had to look thoroughly where I figured it would be, but it took a while. I walked straight to GZ after a local moved on with his 2 dogs. Thanks PurpleCacheEater for the hide, really nice location but very visible to the locals above.
**FTF** another quick find thanks to good coords - and fairly limited numbers of spots for a hide. This is a cracking location. Just what the doctor ordered - fresh air, beautiful views, perfectly still lake and just the sounds of fish jumping and birds chirping! I'd love to have a house on a section of lakefront like these people gave here - how's the serenity?! Its even got a very pleasant seat to sit on down here and contemplate life. Thanks for bringing me here. TNLN TFTC
Had some chores to attend to before going out for the new Summo/Gwandos. Arrive at a very pleasant GZ to find the garbageman already there sucking in the serenity. We had a chat while and after logging. Good to catch up in such pleasant surroundings. Thanks PurpleCacheEater
