What a wonderful afternoon we had here. It was wonderful and hardly a soul here. I imagine it is a bit busier in the summer months. Today it seems like paradise. Tfc
Auf unserer 3 wchigen Tour durch NZ, sind wir nun auf der Sdinsel gelandet. Ein kurzer Stop durfte nicht fehlen, um den Apfel am Abend allein zu bewundern.
Quick easy find - very quiet with no muggles around even on a Saturday morning! Mind you, two preschoolers who love to point out letters are a pretty good cover anyway. The two and three year olds loved walking down to the beach, and even climbed back up the 157 steps on their own.
It was crowded at gz when we arrived so we did this cache on the ascent. A quick find after checking a few likely places. Tftc
Managed to nab this in between groups on the track - the area has changed hugely since we were here last log signed as NOSO to save room - thanks for the cache
About 4 years since I last time on this track. Niteowlnz made a quick find as the muggles departed. Thanks for the cache
Forgot my pen to sign the log book and nearly got muggled by my geocache newbie mum, but overall a good find! Thanks
During our trip around NZ we also visited this place. We found several caches here. Thank you. Greetings from the Czech republick.
Today we spent the day in Abel Tasman Park - it was our last day on the South Island. Before we went back to the car we just picked 7up this cache. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#24084]
Again in Abel Tasman national park. And another part oh this amazing country. Thanks for this cache. Greetings from Slovakia.
While staying in Nelson, we took the day to go visiting the Abel Tasman Nationalpark. We chose the Split Apple from many interesting places. The way was adventurious but so worth the effort to come to this beautiful place. In our way back to our accomodation, we made a stop in Moteuka for a nice coffee and cake at a european bakery. It was pretty good. Topping the stay here was a nearby letterbox (the statistic is one short for the next reward ).The final Cache today was in Nelson City Center. I chose the virtual "The One Ring" and learnt about the importance of the ringmaker for the Lord of the Rings movies and The Hobbit. I wasn't aware of that before. Thank you to all Cache owners for their effort and passion. Thank you for making the trip much more interesting. TFTC and greetings from Germany aussi96

On the way to Split Apple Rock we found this Cache. TFTC and Greetings from Saxony/Germany..
After taking a boatride upto Tonga Quarry, a walk to Medlands Beach and a boatride back, we decided to view the Split Apple from close by and walked to the beach to see it. After climbing back up again we went to the car and there we realized that there was also a cache nearby !!So we returned to the GZ and searched for the cache. And we found it.Thanks for placing en maintaining this cache.

After I found a place to park, I walked over and found this cache. This is a very bold placement. TFTC.
Beautiful day for a visit to the Abel Tasman park. We hiked up till Coquille Bay and found all caches along the way.
At the end of the day we stopped by here to view the famous big apple of NZ
Very nice path and always fun to include a cache along the way. Pretty obvious place but most muggles don't care and walk straight past it I guess. Tftc!

During our roadtrip in New Zealand, we also found this cache. Thanks for hiding!
A short walk to the beach. You can swim well to the apple. You take the cache to save the point and date when you were here. The trip was worth it.
Cache refreshed. Looks as good as new.
The signs aren't quite as I remember them but I think the sentiment is still there. Anyway, if you're going down the track do take note of them so you don't upset anyone.

Came up this hill to find this cache. Mum kept saying it was lost because the description showed a picture of the dog sign and she kept looking there. So I checked the other signs and found it. TFTC

I took a drive out to the carpark tonight and picked up this cache along the way. A quick find nonetheless. Find # 797
A quick find before heading down the walkway to Split Apple Beach. A great spot, unfortunately it was high tide when we arrived so couldn't get out to the Sliced Apple EarthCache. TFTC!
Found on our short walk to lookout. I pured out water from the cache. Place it by the lid down, pls. TFTC
Quick find now for the drop. Found on the way down to the beach, signed mm78, tftc.
Thanks for an easy find. Only one place it could be. But I didn't find the cache at the bottom of the track.
Dakotacats had planned our visit to see the rock down below, so of course we had to stop and grab this on the way.
This was on my 'must visit' list for our Easter holiday and I wasn't disappointed! It was a beautiful warm and sunny day and the walk down to the beach was an enjoyable one.
Nice easy find!
Logbook is full, it i squeezed into a page with several others.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Found this one easily enough, but no luck on the one at the bottom of the trail.
This one took a lot of patience and ‘reading’. This one was my partners first find. TFTC!
In 50+ years of staying at Marahau over the summer I e never before approached the rock by land. Lovely walk. Surprised how many folk on the beach despite a drizzly day
Log nearly full, didn’t do the walk down to the rock … left it for next time. TFTC
Thanks Sidewaze
Quick find and replaced as found
It was one if a few that I could park and grab after completing the Abel Tasman coastal track... we did 69km over 4days so feeling a bit tired now.
