We have been on a road trip to WA and are on the way home. I always like doing a cemetery cache so we couldnt drive by without calling into this one. I loved the container and it is definitely worthy of a favourite point as I havent seen a container like this one before
On the way to Renmark for the few days and picking up some caches along the way. Quick find here today. Lovely little cemetery. TFTC.
Found while heading out to Renmark and surrounds to do some caching along the Wandering Hero's Series and to see what other interesting sights we can find. TFTCI do love a good cemetery cache.
Day four of a short trip to SA with ConnieandRick. After doing some On Your Bike caches over the last couple of days, we headed to Renmark for some caches today.A lovely small church in the grounds.Nice hide. Thanks, Robmc.
We're out in SA mainly to do some of the OYB series with Robmc but today was a trip to Renmark and surrounds. This was a quick stop on the way, and a lovely chapel here. Apparently Robmc says this is the difference between a graveyard and a cemetery.
Found by The Empire + HThe clear blue sky stretched endlessly above, with only the occasional wisp of cloud. The drive along the Murray River was peaceful, the bright green vineyards and orchards lining the road, vibrant against the golden hues of the open fields. As we made our way along the gently curving roads, the spring air was filled with the fresh scent of blossoming trees and wildflowers. The Murray occasionally peeked through the gaps in the trees, its calm waters glistening in the sunlight. Thanks for the cache crane2.-M
Found on our way back from the Flinders Ranges to Melbourne. Very interesting to read the tombstones and try to trace the family trees of the German families here. Thanks for making us stop here.
A quick drive by with some interesting German inscriptions on the tombstones. TFTC
Berri Day 2Staying at Martin Bend for a few days, a lovely coolbreeze comming off the water. An AL in all the neighbouring towns & caches to find as we pass them by.This was a great way to visit the area. Thanks crane2 for hiding this cache.
Tftc Crane2, dropped in here after going to have a look at the lock just down the road.Very pretty church.Quick find here. Thanks
Caravan trip to the Riverland. Day 6, Berri and Lyrup.Interesting cemetery. Thanks for bringing us here.TFTC
Quick find with plesiosaur22. I love cemeteries and churches so would stop even without the cache which was a bonus. TFTC crane2
Another cheeky hide, perfect little church. Thanks for placing a cache here otherwise would never stop to look around. TFTC crane2.
Day 2 of my Geocaching weekend away to do a maintenance Run on all my caches along the Murray River and surrounding areas. Today was from Wynarka to Berri and fixing all my Wandering Hero caches and getting some more finds along the way of course.Been passed here a dozen times but don't know why I never stopped in for the find but today I fixed that problem.TFTC crane2
Well now I've done one of your caches, it's a nice place to visit. The church is very impressive, tftc.
At the 18th National Caravan Rally at Barmera Field Day site. Enjoying ourselves. Out today sight seeing in the area. Have to collect some caches while here.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.
We were in the Riverland checking out the high water levels
Found this cache on the way back from Loxton
Cute little church and resting place (if you need one of this type) - well worth the diversion
Thanks for the cache and sending good wishes for a speedy recovery for all of those impacted by the flooding

As we drove from Loxton to Berri we stopped to look for this cache. This is a great area to visit - a very well maintained cemetery set against a delightful small church among many dominant trees.
Accurate coordinates and a familiar object led to a quick find of a quality cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks crane2 for the cache.

Not sure why this has a needs maintenance on it. Turned up with my replacement container, but the original is in perfect condition - both the outer and inner containers are fine and the log is almost new. Not sure if previous finders have discovered something else as the log sheet only has a few names on it.
Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. Today we targeted some powertrails just out of Loxton and any others along the route. 155 caches found today. This cache is one that was found today.
Find #4429 on 19 Jul 2022.

I think we found it.
The Wether has really got to it. I would advise you to replace it or to fix the weathered parts.
Ps we could not find the log book.

Drizzly and cold day but out ranging from Loxton with iluvtrekking. Quick find in a well maintained cemetery featuring a gorgeous little church that isn’t a ‘used 2B’. Replaced full log sheet. Thanks crane2
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Based in Loxton, today we wandered up to Berri and the surrounding area geocaching along our route. Thanks for your cache crane2.

Owl and Eagle were in the Riverland for a partially-government-funded weekend. Eagle was determined to explore some of the towns they had missed on a prior ill-fated boat trip. Owl was equally determined to find as many caches as she could. This one was a quick stop on the way back from exploring Lock 4. Lovely looking church as well.
Log book full
Quick stop here cache is all good
Today we made our way around the river land checking out some of the tourist sights with the main goal to get to MacCabe Corner and a stop at the brewery plus find a few caches along the way.

Found by Mary and David at 11:50. A definite FP here. M loves these places for their social history, the symbolism in the carved headstone designs, and the stories in the epitaphs. The Fielke family could do all their family history here. Another family had 14 children! Log is totally full - we had to sign sideways. Our thanks to crane2
We both think that we have found this one before so it made for a reasonably quick find. We felt like we shouldn't be here and skidaddled when we heard a tractor approaching. Thanks for the cache that we definitely signed this time.
TFTC crane2. We had completed the On Your Bike Series yesterday. Today being a hot one we decided on a trip to Berri. A lovely town on the Murray. We cached our way there and also found some in town. A great day to be near the river.

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. Managed to find a small spot to sign GT, but log needs replacing. TFTC.
Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 16. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 6 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. I spent the day out and about collecting caches in the region before heading to Lake Bonny and then Berri, finishing the day in Katarapko National park.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
The log was full today.
Thanks for the cache crane2

We were staying with Honeysucker for a couple of nights with Liz & Bruce and we ventured off today to do a few of the nearby caches but nothing that required a long walk as at 40 degree temperatures it was just too hot.
We had to stop for fuel so the others decided to keep on going and we would meet up again at Honeysucker's but as usually happens you can't drive passed a nearby cache even if it is closing in on happy hour
One of the reasons we enjoy caching in this state so much is the fantastic old buildings that you come across like the church near this one. You don't see workmanship like this any more, perhaps it's just too cost prohibitive but they certainly stand the test of time. We remember the first time we found a container like this we searched for ages but now luckily we can find them a bit quicker than that as we did with this us and again our name has been added to the log.
Many thanks again crane2 for the cache.

The decision was made to joined in the South Australia tour to hit up the On Ya Bike series with fitzy_1965, Minniek, Smittengranny and Albida33 (who had driven up from his Christmas visit to Adelaide). After getting across the SA border with only a stop for one of us to be (re) tested, we headed to our camping area at Loxton and set up camp.
Having completed On Ya Bike we were now on way to Mildura and the Paddle Steamer series. Along the way we stopped off for a couple of caches, including a couple of multi’s and trads along the highway. All caches were found without issue and apart from the temp being in the high 30’s all went well.
Thanks to all the CO’s of the caches in this area and of course thanks for adding to the fun of our 7 day adventure/road trip.

Yesterday Fitzy_63, Albida33, Minniek, Sol de Lune and I found about 350 of the On Your Bike Series so today we wanted to get back out and find to the end of the series. It was forecast to be even hotter today than yesterday so we decided to head out early. Of course the plan didn't work. We finished early and attacked another group of caches rather than go back to camp early
It was another great day of caching thanks to all the COs and nearly all caches were found to be in good order. Those that weren't will have individual notes added later. Logs were signed FAMSS

Travelling around the area surveying the damage of two storms in 10 days, Mr Frog inspecting total devastation of some crops which is heartbreaking - a year's work, for the farmer, gone!!
On a positive note, we found some smileys which is always great
There were also quite a few earwigs in the cache

We stopped to grab this one this morning but the caretaker was watering some trees so here we are back to sign the log TFTC
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We decided to pick up ones around Loxton before leaving.
Nice cemetery here. Quick find, sign and replace and onto the next.
Thanks for the hide crane2 and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
Another nice cemetery to wander, now onto the next find for the day.
Thanks for the hides crane2 And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

Today fitzy_1965, two geo-kids & I moved camp from Murray Bridge to what turned out to be Renmark instead of Loxton.
Our main aim was getting to our destination with a targeted little Month trail and an old cache along the way.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated.

23,106. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 12 of our adventures took us from Murray Bridge to Renmark - caching along the way cherry picking on the Wandering Heroes series and completing the OTD May series. All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks crane2 !!

Honeysucker had to go to the Dr and the Dr was in the Riverland: so he needed a 'yapper' to keep him awake and apparently I fit that role
A fun day with 11 caches found and another 1 or 2 placed by Honeysucker[?] and beta tested by me![^]
We had tea at the Loxton RSL[^] where we bumped into Crane2[^] and then we found the last cache at almost 10pm[|)]

Tankengine and I were on our way from Tailem Bend to Berri today.
We had plans to pick up a few caches here and there, concentrating on only a special few as we didn't have time to do whole power trails or clear out towns.
This cache: I always like to visit a cemetery. Cache quickly found. Tftc crane2!!!
