On the way to Renmark for the few days and picking up some caches along the way. TFTC.
The Mexicans came, and saw and signed. We're out in SA mainly to do some of the OYB series with Robmc but today was a trip to Renmark and surrounds.
Day four of a short trip to SA with ConnieandRick. After doing some On Your Bike caches over the last couple of days, we headed to Renmark for some caches today. No going there today, but tomorrow. Thanks, Robmc.
Found by The Empire + HThe clear blue sky stretched endlessly above, with only the occasional wisp of cloud. The drive along the Murray River was peaceful, the bright green vineyards and orchards lining the road, vibrant against the golden hues of the open fields. As we made our way along the gently curving roads, the spring air was filled with the fresh scent of blossoming trees and wildflowers. The Murray occasionally peeked through the gaps in the trees, its calm waters glistening in the sunlight. Not home time for us, just yet! Thanks for the cache crane2.-M

We were staying with Honeysucker for a couple of nights with Liz & Bruce and we ventured off today to do a few of the nearby caches but nothing that required a long walk as at 40 degree temperatures it was just too hot.
We had to stop for fuel so the others decided to keep on going and we would meet up again at Honeysucker's but as usually happens you can't drive passed a nearby cache even if it is closing in on happy hour .
Being Mexicans we knew exactly which way it was and we were quite happy to have escaped for a little while from all the pestilence to breathe a bit of fresh, unpolluted air so we didn't need this information but we did stop for the cache which was happily found nice and quickly and our name was added to the log.
Many thanks again crane2 for the cache.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 15. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 5 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. I spent the day finishing caches around Loxton and then heading a little further away from town before hiding under the shady tree at camp for the afternoon.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.

After a good sleep I had the tent packed up and was signing my first log book at 8.20am not bad for me for a Sunday morning.
Enjoyed 2 lovely events today, caught up with caching buddies and found a nice variety of hides. Collected about 60 today a mix of caches and adventure labs.
I was very weary when I got home the sunny day was an energy drainer. Was again grateful not to encounter any scary wildlife. Collected a lot of empty drink cans and hundreds to be picked up, what is wrong with people.
Thanks as always to all the lovely cache hiders for placing and maintaining their hides.
My phone was quite annoying at times today with the GPS frequently showing me many km away from my actual location.
Quick find on the way to Loxton for the lab caches TFTC

There was no problem in finding this cache when we arrived at GZ with ilook4geo. All was in good order and after signing the log it was then replaced as it had been found. Thank you to crane2 for placing this cache.
On the road again today and heading east with goingplaces2. Cache container was easily found and log signed. TFTC.
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
It was now time to head home after doing numerous trails while in the area a great caching adventure. We decided to pick up ones around Loxton before leaving.
Another quick find here.
Thanks for the hide crane2 and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Today was cleaning up around Loxton and making our way over to Mildura for the night, before making our way back towards Wagga tomorrow.
A nice quick find here, now onto the next find for the day.
Thanks for the hides crane2 And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

I had almost all of March away from caching to concentrate on the Garden. Now it was back to caching and Anymules had finally solved the X factor on a puzzle that had eluded us for months and suggested we should go and get it before his holidays finished. So several TOTTs including two kayaks were loaded and we set off in search of adventure.
Having found our target caches we stopped for a few on the way home. [^] This was one of them. A quick find for me today.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks crane2 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled around the Murray Riverlands, visiting Loxton, Paringa, and Renmark. We started the day from Berri, travelling south and finding a few miscellaneous geocaches. Once at Loxton, we completed the *Historical Loxton* Adventure Lab, found a few geocaches along the river, and then had lunch in town. We then drove towards Paringa, and took a walk around Murtho and Headings Cliffs. We then proceeded back through Renmark, and finished off our evening with a walk at Wilabalangaloo and completing the Berri *A River Contemplation* Adventure Lab.
This was a quick driveby stop, and we certainly saw the way to Mexico. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks crane2 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A weekend away doing On Your Bike whereigos[?][^] That sounds like a plan![^]
Munja had asked about a year ago to go and finish this series and I'd said yes[^]... but a day never got set! Then erine14 and alysse14 had wanted to come too and they were free this weekend![^]
Life throws spanners at us all though and so it was that I ended up heading out to this series with James0116 in my car SpidermonkeysMum, Aussie M & M and OzGrumpy were in SpidermonkeysMum's car[^] northstar76 and Superman_22 were in northstar76's car[^] Rod81W, Sharyn1981 and Briana the explorer were in, I think, Sharyn's car[^] and Munja was in his dad's car[^]
That was yesterday and my day's tally was 105 cache finds
Today we were down to the diehard geocachers: James0116, Munja, Rod81W, Sharyn1981 and Briana the explorer [^] and my day's tally was[?]......... 7 finds
I'd already done the Around the World series as well as the Wandering Heroes Fishy Tales series so I just watched and laughed at the others finding caches
I also did lead the others astray by telling them about 4 FTFs that had been published this morning [^] so we all drove from Loxton to Berri (where I'd come from half an hour before) to go to Katarapko to get 4 FTFs[^]
Having passed this cache yesterday and again this morning, I was NOT driving past it a 3rd time! [^]
I do need to go to Mexico to get my gear and caravan but I've no idea when I'll get there!

Today was day two of caching in and around the Riverland with Locus Cache, James0116 and a few others. The plan was to originally start with the Fishy Tales geo art before completing a series of multies we had started the previous day. This plan changed however with four new caches published this morning within driving distance of where we were. With all four found in an enjoyable journey around the Murray River National Park we continued on with our original plan and a while later we were working our way through the fishy tales. Good time was made and the series was completed in good time with all caches in the fishy tail’s series signed under the team name Knackered Rex. At this point Rod and his clan decided to call it a day so they could get back to Adelaide in good time. That left just Locus, James and myself and we decided to head off and complete the Around the World series that we had started yesterday. We methodically made our way through the series with all caches being found in good condition, conquering some interesting terrains in the process. With the series finally completed we finally decided to call it a day and head back to Adelaide.

Today our plan was to get the Adventure lab in Loxton and a few surroung caches before heading to the Wandering heroes Fishy trail. That plan soon changed once we met Locus cache as she said there is a few FTFs up for grabs so off we went.
A bunch of misfit geocachers decided to tackle the On your bike series and what ever other caches we passed, Today our team changed to the Knackered Rex for the fishy tail series or RSB for any other caches.
Left Adelaide at 4pm and arrived at our accommodation in Loxton where we are staying for 2 nights just after 7pm.

Located today with the help of Sebastbat driving.
Leaving Geelong on Monday and travelled up to Nhill, next morning back on the road with the caravan behind which makes it a little harder to cache along the way.

Thanks crane2 for placing.
I wonder where that saying came from. Time to head to bed as we have another couple of full days caching yet.
