Time for this event to be removed from the map. Thank you to all the attendees for taking out time and watching the movies with us.
Thank you to Zalgariath for sponsoring the popcorn and the AV equipment.

After the movie screening, we will be heading to Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel. If it's brimming with local folks, then our plan B is going to be at Hotel Palisade!

Thanks alpha and the nsw geocaching community for putting on such a great event. Lovely to meet all that i did. See you all at the next one Tfte i loved the popcorn
What a fun evening. It was great to meet some new geocachers and to catch up with old friends. The films were entertaining - the Qld offering deserves to win!!!! - and afterwards, the gathering at the Lord Nelson was the cherry on the cake. Thank you ADI for organising this!! And Zalgariath and Geocaching, NSW.
On this cold and rainy night, the GIFF event was a safe haven bringing together cachers from all over the city. Thanks ADI for putting the event together (and Zal for being a super able helper), it was great to have a GIFF event in the city.
A great evening at the GIFF in the City of Sydney Event including the After Event at the Lord Nelson over the road. Well done ADI for organising it with the help of Zalgariath and Geocaching NSW. The Geocaching Short Films were quite varied, including documentary, comedy, drama, romance and nostalgia. My vote goes to "Geocaching is Free" by Lat&Long Junkie from Australia. TFTC ADI
What a lovely venue for a GIFF event. This year's films had lots of variety. Congrats to the 2 Aussie entries. Both very funny. Dinner at the Sydney s oldest pub was yummy and the venue so authentically old.
Thanks for hosting this event ADI.
Thanks for hosting this event ADI.
Movies, Popcorn. A great event. A last minute attend by us as plans changed during the afternoon. Having been away earlier in the week we missed the earlier events and a bit of poor planing meant we also missed the interstate event.
Some funny films. Well done on organising ADI. TFTC

A terrific event held in a great location. We parked the geomobile at Kirribilli and then walked across the Harbour Bridge and through the pedestrian tunnel to reach GZ. It was a wet day in Sydney, but thankfully the rain held off long enough to do the walk to and from the event.
Some familiar faces, and some new ones, started to gather at the front of the venue. Then it was into the “theatre” for the main attraction, where a good laugh was had as each of the short films was screened. A true cinema experience complete with projector and popcorn. Unfortunately we were unable to stay on after the films due to work commitments.
Thanks ADI for organising such a wonderful event, and thanks Zal for the popcorn and GCNSW for assisting. This was our first attendance at a GIFF Event and we look forward to more in the future. It was a fun evening.

Going to the GIFF event in the city tonight, so left home early so I could grab a few caches beforehand. Decided to target a few caches close to The Spit - don't get here very often.
I thought I'd try for two caches close to each other in Quakers Hat Park.
Got both, although the rain that had fallen made this a less than optimal caching environment today.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Was intending to take a train in but they're not running. So had to drive in and pay for parking... At least I was close by.
My second GIFF event for the year. More films but just as importantly more chat with other cachers, both at the event and afterwards at the pub.
Interesting venue here.
Thanks for organising **ADI**.

TaurusSix and I enjoyed this event and the films too. I could relate to a few of them. Unfortunately we could not stay for the afters. Thanks to ADI for organising and the NSW association for sponsoring.
What a great turn out! A wet night was perfect for an hour or two indoors watching movies. From the cringe-worthy to the near brilliant there was a great varierty from around the world to behold. Thanks to ADI for driving the idea and GCNSW for supporting the event. I'd thank myself for the popcorn but thats just weird.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the films again with my Geodad EverestHigh and all the other great cachers who attended. As well it was nice afterwards visiting the Lord Nelson club. My favourite film was definitely "Geocaching is free", and I can't wait to discover who the winner is, when the decision is finalised. TFTE ADI, Geocaching NSW & Zalgariath!
Life got in the way an I wasn't able to make it to SMS's event, so I'm happy to say that I'll be able to come to this one with dingoman007 and MrSmash.
Its our last night in Sydney before heading north. I'll see if I can break away for a short visit.
We are hoping to be able to get to this one, but have an early start on Sunday morning (morning shift), so won't be able to stay much past the 8 pm finish time. Have never been to a GIFF Event, so looking forward to it. (4 of us attending, and we are happy to contribute)
Hi Adi.. just back from gadding in foreign parts.. (and of course hunting a few geocaches there too - as one would). Chris and I would love to attend. I've never been to this kind of event before. Will join you after in the pub too.
I will most likely attend this event with AHPTDK. Looking forward to meeting everyone! To everyone who owns/ collects pathtags i will be bringing my fairly large collection and would love to trade/see everyone elses.
Awesome. I've been waiting for a GIFF event to appear on a weekend rather than a week night.
Ill be there and would love to join you afterwards at the pub.

Hi ADI. I hope to attend and MaxAdventurer also. Haven't been to a GIFF Event before. TFTE
