#18215 - 9:55:00 AM; Day 16 of the European Road Trip, with an overnight sailing from Nuremberg seeing us arrive in Bamberg this morning. We did a walking tour through and around the old town and after a visit to the Cathedral of St Peter and St George, I took a short detour to collect my first cache in Bamberg. A nice quick find and sign. TFTC Bischberger 
Our river cruise included a walking tour of BamBerg this afternoon. The tour brought us within 20m of the cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well designed, constructed and hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Bischberger for the cache - it earns a favourite from us.

I grabbed this during a tour of a ambers with my wife and friends. My brother from a DFDM zzbob and I broke away from the group and searched high and low before I grabbed the well hidden container.
Nach dem Besuch beim Bamberger Reiter konnten wir diesen schnell finden. Mussten nur warten bis die japanischen Muggles weitergegangen waren. TFTC!
Team Bellesen, Team Weifa, 2olsen and ETcombo from Norway, are on a week holiday, a roundtrip in Bamberg, Strasbourg and Luxembourg. Arrived in Bamberg yesterday. Today we had our first day with geocaching and looking around in the town. Used the lab caches to find the tourist attractions. Some other geocaches was also found.
Tasting of the smoked bear was also important in bamberg.

Während der heutigen Stadtführung konnte ich mich kurz absetzen und das Döslein aus dem Versteck locken. Die Dose durfte ich dann gleich weitergeben.
