I was the unfortunate one made to stick my hand into a dark hole in the middle of the woods. 10/10
Thanks EeePees for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle's Backdoor key, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2084 at 15:28 on 19/10/2024. FTF: Found with: selfWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
This was a very quick walk and grab type cache. The walk in was the killer.TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
On Saturday afternoon we headed out to this reserve to give our house sit hound a good walk and sniff. She loved it. Quick find here. Collected the info in the hide and hopefully will get back for the companion cache. TFTC EeePees
First find for today. Found quickly once I backtracked to GZ (I was texting with VK7HCH and not concentrating on the arrow at all).
Grabbed the information required for the bonus cache and then had to wait out a passing doggie and his muggle before making any movement.
Thanks for the cache!

Sadly the "original Mrs Tiggy-Winkle cache" was kidnapped from her hidey-hole in early January.
I have been trying for several years to source 1 or more similar containers - unsuccessfully.
So, I've resorted to an inferior version as a solution for now - I guess it's better than nothing.

Found in a cute echidna statue in tree hollow with date 8/9/2055. Awesome find and hunt!
Checked on this warm sunny Sunday afternoon.
Mrs Tiggy-Winkle had been inverted and pushed back into her hidey-hole making her hard to see in the shadows; but I'm very pleased to report she hasn't been destroyed.
Re-hidden as intended, and ready to be found.
Cheers, EPs

Continuing my walk in this awesome park i made my way to this one with a funny title. I had a laugh when i found the cool cache. I noticed a strange set of numbers that looked like a date but dismissed it accidently.
[Only when back home logging my finds the next day i realized it was for the Bonus Cache.
Big head-slap moment [:o)] I did remember those numbers, amazingly so i solved it late at night and got the green light on the Checker [^]... now i have a reason to return and to also grab the other Trad; PMR Pipe Dreams and solve that in order to grab it's Bonus Cache ]
This fun cache was found and it's log signed at 12:20 on Monday 19 July 2021. A favorite Point from me
{As for "Where would you hide your key"
I hid my flat's front door key [when i lived in Adelaide] in true Geocacher style.
It was in a magnetic, thin Eclipse Mint Tin wrapped in black electrical tape sneakily slotted high up (just within my reach) in the carports' framework, so much so i had to look for it once for about 20 seconds ha ha [:o)].
If a Geocacher can't find it, it's a 'Good Hide' indeed and burglars won't find it }
The log within the cache is dry.

Today we decided to head to Blackmans Bay - Snug and surrounds to find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
Mrs "T" made her way to GZ and collected the required information for the final cache. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Father's day spending time with both Mr & Mrs Nataliec1234 and her Princess a double celebration with the Princess turning six, wandered down and along and found Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, what a lovely cache EeePees thoroughly enjoyed the cache. Thanks for all your hides still have quite a few of yours to find. Number 999 any thoughts on a good one for Number 1000....any ideas welcome.
Great cache. Kids loved it. This reserve is so under-utilised and a beautiful place for a walk. Left a couple of ‘gems’ for kids. TFTC
Hi EeePees,
TFTC, a nice find with you and Mrs EeePees today before riding from there to home in Margate on my bike. I saw PMR Pipe Dreams on my way back.
Thanks again,

Got an hour to hunt in Peter Murrell for both Forty-spotted Pardalotes (unsuccessfully) and geocaches (got some). This used to be the easiest spot to see the latter but less commonly sighted now.
Heading back to the car now and a quick diversion off the track here. A cute container (favourite added) and the info for the puzzle collected. Wasn’t what I was expecting in that hole!

Found on my last day in Tasmania before flying home to Adelaide this evening after a week of visiting family and friends and doing some caching.
I took the opportunity to go for a very pleasant walk in the Peter Murrell Conservation Area to find a few caches there. Coincidentally, I worked with Peter Murrell in the late 1970’s and the 1980’s.
This one was a quick find and the clue was as collected for the bonus mystery cache. Despite the intermittent light rain showers, I managed to stay dry.
Thanks EeePees for the cache.

Found this awesome cache a few weeks ago but didn't have a pen. Came back today with my son. Let him find it to see if he enjoyed it as much as I did. Wasn't dissapointed. That's a favorite for both of us!
Replaced the logsheet. Otherwise all good.
Why would someone remove the logsheet????

Hi there EeePees.
We found your cache **"Mrs Tiggy-Winkle's Backdoor key"** at 9:47:00 L today. (This makes our grand total 18768).
Today we headed to Kingston to log a few caches between showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. Our cache count was 6 caches today, with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the novelty container.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 8m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Nice cache container. We grabbed this cache on a nice Christmas Day walk after a picnic. It almost was too much for our little Geo Girl after a big day but she did very well.
After some caching with a mate I went for a wander in the reserve.
Found 3 out of 4, it looks like the last has been muggled.
Thanks for the cache

We completed our GC calendar a number of years ago. After that we were looking for another challenge and decided to try to find 5 caches on each day of the year. When that was achieved, we raised the bar to 7 and that was attained. Currently the target is 10 and today is one of the days where we needed to find three caches to get to 10 caches for 15 October.
As there were insufficient caches within reasonable travelling distances in the northern part of the state, we headed south where there were a number of possibilities. As it was close to where our daughter lives, we decided to visit the Peter Murrell Reserve, an area that we had not visited for some time but one which we always promised to return to and to explore in more detail. We left home in Ulverstone just before 6:30am, found our first cache at about 10:00am and left the reserve at about 11:30am. When we parked our car there were a number of other cars already there and we thought that we may come across a number of people during our visit. We were surprised that we didn't see one other person whilst we were on the trails, although we did see four people when we returned to the car park. The area is obviously very popular but sufficiently large for people to enjoy the tranquility of the area without coming across others.
Having found "GC6Y27N PMR Pipe Dreams" and "GC6Y28R PMR #16 Bonus", we headed off to pay a visit to Mrs Tiggy-Winkle. Again it was a pleasant walk to this cache. It was warm and the birds were very vocal. We saw a number of green parrots which was very pleasing (we have a very soft spot for parrots, Rosellas in particular, as they have such character). We followed the designated tracks to get to this cache but were still wary of snakes as our daughter had seen one earlier in the week when riding her mountain bike at lunch time (she works at the AAD).
Once near GZ accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of another very well designed and constructed cache which was well hidden. The cache and contents were in good condition. With the log signed, we collected the additional information and calculated the coordinates for "GC78KTX Bonus Mrs T-W". Then we were off for the final GC cache in the area.
Thanks EeePees for the cache and for bringing us back to this very lovely area.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Recently our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. *****

Myself and Goose were on a mission to Peter Murrell reserve today to get all those caches we have been overlooking for a bit now, we walked all round the area with some good finds along the way.
This one was a quick find and we collected the much needed information before replacing the cache and moving on to the next.
Thanks for the cache.

Saturday dawned bright and sunny and stainless=steel-rat and I had set ourselves a decent itinerary, we needed to sort out a water main at Mount Nelson prior to a ‘clean up’ Peter Murrell reserve, then onto Blackmans Bay, Kingston, Taroona and Sandy Bay.
After a bit of discussion we decided we would park on Howden Road just near an entrance to the Reserve, at the start of the Howden Fire Trail, and from there decided to walk up the horse trail for a bit and then join the Coffee Creek Fire Trail and soon connected to Sandflats Fire Trail and, after a few stops to drop some GCA movables, were soon knocking on Mrs Tiggy-Winkle’s Backdoor. I asked her ever so politely for her key as stainless-steel-rat signed the log sheet. She stayed very quiet but did cough up some numbers that worked quite nicely for what we needed. I thanked her for the information and put her snugly back to bed.
Thanks EeePees for the first of hopefully four of your caches today

Cute hide! Found by eldest geokid while out on a school holiday walk with some friends. Unfortunately youngest geokid also found a nest of jackjumpers nearby and got bitten a few times! One of the hazards of geocaching in Tasmania. TFTC!
Many thanks, EeePees, for all the effort you have put into this cache. Big smiles when we opened her door, it was a joy to find – so very cute. I’m sure Beatrix would have approved.
This is find number 1400 for us and what a great cache to mark this milestone with. Thanks again.

Just adorable.
The perfect hide for Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and we like where she keeps her key.
Thank you EeePees, A favourite from us.
This was the only find today as we headed back to explore around one of the ponds.

Saw this new cache appear recently and have been meaning to find it for a couple of weeks. It was a great day outside today so I decided to go out for a walk with my dog to get it. TFTC
Out and about finding caches. Enjoyed the walk from the Scarborough parking spot. Passed a couple of dog walking muggles. Followed the well defined track to GZ. Loved the container. Deserves a favourite. Retrieved the info for the puzzle. TFTC
Missed on the opportunity for an FTF when it was published so have held off until an appropriate time. Today these twin caches are ideal for the geocaching team challenge. Parked in same spot as White Webs and glad we did. Very pleasant still to GZ to find an excellent hiding hole and a very well crafted cache. Remembered to grab the information for the bonus.
TFTC and a favourite for the container.

A familiar track that I often ride my MTB along. Today I walked, which meant I spotted some interesting side tracks and then made acquaintance with Mrs T-W.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Hi EeePees
Received a phone call from B & W this morning re our Dyson vacuum cleaner; stating the repairs were done and that it could be picked up after lunch.
So decided to leave early and do some caching before making the required pick up.
Drove from Tubesville (Huonville) to the big smoke (Hobart) and made the Domain my first port of call.
Found two caches and hid one here before going to pick up the cleaner. Also found one at Berriedale prior to driving to Huntingfield.
Arrived, walked the track, bush bashing the last 150 metres
A find was made at 1537hrs, Sainting the cache at the same time.
Now to find the bonus cache and then head for home
TFTC and cheers

The GeoGSP and I were up for a walk this afternoon and Peter Murrell Reserve seemed like a good place to visit as there were a number of EeePees' caches that we hadn't got around to finding. This cache was first cab off the rank. This took us on a track that I hadn't walked along before in this reserve, and the very cute cache was found quickly. Notes were taken, and the log signed, and cache returned. Thanks for the cache, EeePees.
Hello EeePees thank you for the cache.
Today I got my car serviced in Kingston and as I live in Glenorchy I had to get up at 0500 so I had enough time to drive to Kingston, leave the car at the mechanic, get a lift back to Glenorchy with a work mate who lives in Kingston in enough time to have a coffee before work. This after noon it was a case of getting a lift with my work mate to Kingston on the way we pick up his son from child care in Hobart.
After picking up the car at around 1630 I thought I would go and have a look at a nearby puzzle cache but I think I have put the wrong cords in the GPS as the location wasn't looking good.
After that DNF I thought I had enough time to go and find your new caches. I parked in a likely spot it was starting to get dark, cold and it looked like rain but I headed off any way. The walked to GZ was very pleasant, the first part of it I followed a man walking a dog, he turned right as I turned left. The cache was easily found and I was surprised that I was the second to find.
I do like where Mrs Tiggy-Winkle's hides her backdoor key.

Woohoo first to find!!! Our first FTF in Tasmania. Noticed this one pop up late afternoon but it wasn't until the kids were in bed that Mr SudsyNZ could go. Checked the online logs, no log so off he went. In pitch blackness with the aid of a headlamp, walked from the recommended parking off Algona and half walked half jogged to GZ. At GZ was a quick easy find even in the dark. Found at 20.33 TFTC.
