I am not going out to perform maintenance on this cache, it does not fit within the four reason to leave home. So I am archiving it.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Came out for a metro walk given the bush conditions of late. Picking off a few caches along the way. So many places this could be but soon spotted something a little off. Cache needs a container as has been mentioned. I unfortunately didn’t have one with me. TFTC
*Found on the 22 Dec 2019 @ 12:54 pm.*
*Cache find # 10283.*
This is an interesting one, there is only a logbook and no container.
I was wanting to go for a bike ride and I thought that it would be a good opportunity to give this series ago and combine two things I like doing.
The trails in this series are good as the are a bit of a mix with up’s and down’s and a bit twisty as well.
The later it was getting into the afternoon, the stronger the wind seemed to be getting, it was a bit hard riding into it but it was good exercise.
**Thanks to Robmc for placing this cache.**

Yep that would be a rock garden. Found with Jimmytherat. Unfortunately there is no container just the log book! We have place it on top of a rock with a smaller rock on top in its hidey hole. Hopefully won’t get wet or lost. TFTC Robmc
TFTC Robmc. Nice location. Log Found easily, on ground and dry due to good plastic zip-loc, but no protective container. Shame as it was only recently replaced. Better hidden and hopefully will stay dry. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Accurate coordinates and the cache name led to a quick find but given the location, we were somewhat wary as we tried to retrieve the cache. We used our walking stick to move the cache into the open where it could be retrieved. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Robmc for the cache and the series.
Please attend to this ASAP. This is a great trail. Cache is smashed....
Thanks for bringing us here
Thanks for bringing us here
One of the caches we found on our bike ride today that needs maintenance. This container was smashed and the contents scattered around the area. Gathered everything up and put all the bits and pieces back at GZ.
Signed one of the pieces of paper I collected.
Thanks, have included a photo of the damage here.

Late Log. Night out caching with Gunks. Walked along the KCT and FT picking up all the ones we could find. 13km walk, all up. Plenty of eyes watching as we walked. Needs some care as it was smashed up at GZ. TFTC
Out an about with TrailStevo last night on an evening walk, turned to a 13km round trip and around 20cache for our troubles. An interesting walk at night, through the back of the industrial state, guard dogs barking, unfortunately lots of litter and illegal dumping. In any case it got us out and put some smiley faces on the trail. There are a few cache that require some maintenance (as indicated), unfortunately some muggles have been active, and some building work and fencing denied us access to another. Thanks Robmc for the adventure.
Found it, and yes confirmed it has been smashed to pieces and scattered around the place.

Nice walk after a long day of TAFE. Log not in any container and is feeling damp.

Annoying Tarbit and I had planned a caching day which started the moment I stepped off the Spirit at the pier. AT had planned a route that started at the docks and took in both the KCT and Federation Trail, and we looked for a few caches in between there too.
With a few potential areas and levels to hide a cache, we pretty much divided the searching between us. I ended up being on the right level and found the very well hidden cache after seeing that something looked ever so slightly suspicious. Happy to get the smiley here. TFTC

I picked Lost_and_found_79 up straight off the Tassie ferry for a day of caching and after heading to Webb Dock first we came over the Westgate Bridge to try the Kororoit Creek Trail, the Federation Trail and others nearby. We started at the north end and headed south along the creek. After a DNF nearby we carried on to this one. I chose the wrong approach but L&F79 stuck at a more likely level and after a short time had the cache in hand. Our sixth find of 43 for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Robmc.
Found on a trek with the kids on the last day of the school holidays. TFTC TAD
It's been a while since I first tried this cache, when some pesky muggles had gotten it. Despite some very quick owner maintenance, its taken me months to get back. worth the wait though, a well hidden cache in a great little area. Thanks!
I found this one pretty quickly, which was good, as it was getting hotter. Still a long way to go to the end though.
Find #3997. Found @ 12:10
My self-appointed challenge for the year is to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that. To get me closer, I took to the Federation Trail and Kororoit Creek Trail. There were storms forecast, but thankfully seemed to pass by the area, and leave me unscathed.
On approach I spotted a muggle nearby enjoying the tranquility of the creek. I hoped that I didn't need to disturb that quiet contemplation to search. As it happens, I did not. The cache was found, but not in the first place I looked.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Strengthened after our cut lunch, we made quick action with this hide. We love discovering new areas through geocaching. Considering how urban this location is, it is amazing how green it is!
Day 3 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire for a lot of the escapades So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS to save space. As we met and cached with other teams along the way more and more initials were added.
We spent the morning still in Ballarat before attending a Lunch event and then caching our way towards the mega making quite a few varied detours along the way!.
Finally made it almost to out digs for the next five nights, but couldn't resist the old 'just one more find. And of course that turned into five or six! [:o)] This was one of them. Log was full so we added a new one. [^]

The Melbourne Mega has been and gone so now the hardest part for me is to log all these great caches that we have found over the past six days. We have had six days of full on caching which started with a few high D/T caches in Ballarat using kayak,s ladders, etc the assault started last Wednesday 14th but not without a few mishaps that included a tree fall, a number of bike mishaps and numerous bloodletting. Some of us look like the walking wounded but you just have to keep soldering on as there is always another cache to be found. I also have to include the stiff legs from all the kilometres walked.
Most logs were signed BABS which stands for brisal5, Anymules, Bushfire and S.A. Sewer Rats to save space in all the log books. This will a generic log owing to the huge number of caches to be logged so I would like to thank all cache owners for the time and effort it takes to place these caches and also for the maintenance of the said caches.
Again thanks to all the cache owners that helped to make the 2018 Melbourne Mega the great success that it was, so now to look forward to St.Arnaud next year where you will be blown away with the quality of the hides. Save up your favorite points as you will use heaps in this area.
After the huge brown that was laying around enjoying the sunshine earlier we kept a close watch where we walked.

As others before me have said, I believe that I found the spot it was hidden, but there was nothing left. This may need a visit from the CO, there seem to be some annoying muggles around. Thanks!
Got my hands dirty trying to find this one unfortunately didn’t end up finding it however i did see alot of potential spaces that it could have been
We think we found the spot, but no cache... please check! Found lots of plastic bags and spider eggs and webs!!!
Couldn’t seem to find this one day. I think I know where it was, and if that’s that case then there is nothing there I’m afraid
We looked, walked around the garden and think we found the right spot, but nothing. No luck today.

I navigated to GZ, took a step back and spotted a likely hiding spot. Thanks Robmc.
Got the call last night to change my lunchtime walk with_BFMC_ to a bike ride to tick off a few caches on the KCT trail to celebrate the first day of Hidden Creatures. No questions asked, the bike was in the car pretty quick!
A great day to be out. We picked up 11 caches in total.
Thanks Robmc. Left several swaps along the way.
Cache in good order. Picked up by _BFMC_ quickly.

To celebrate the first day of Hidden Creatures Crack’n’LeeLee and I decided to turn our lunchtime walk into a lunchtime ride to kick off our souvenir collection. All in all we managed to knock off 11 caches in total leaving 1 trad and a couple of multi’s at the end for another day. All in all a pleasant day to be out on the bikes, a 100% hit rate just topped it off nicely. Thanks for placing & maintaining these caches for us and for helping us kick Hidden Creatures off with a bang!
Well hidden but a telltale geocaching sign gave it away. Thanks for the cache
The geokids were playing Lax in Newport close bye.
I decided to road home on the bike.
Managed to clock up just under 34kms in around 4hrs.
Also managed to pick up nearly all the caches between Yarraville and Sunshine in my travels.
Thought I may have trouble with this hide.
But it turned out to be a quick find.

A bit of time late on a Sunday afternoon to head out with the kids for a ride. We try and find an area that combines a park for them and some geocaches for me so this trail fit the bill. We only had time to travel a small section of the trail before we ran out of light and or energy. Thanks for the hides Robmc.
Found cache and returned it to where is should be hidded.

Whew! Took us an age to find this little brighter. Helped by previous log about gps guiding to the wrong corner. Finally logged however
Took TB to move on.

Found with Eudes and linearZZ and Shadow the geodog on our multi team attack on FT and KCT. We were searching well away from where the cache was hidden until we read previous logs, to find it on the opposite end of the garden. Shadow's rescue ride home arrived here - she had covered a heroic 16.5km and was still looking for where the bikes were going as she got into the car! We also pointed Lizard1983 in the right direction as they arrived while we were hitting the saddle again.

The reduced AD Cycling Team of EuDes, Alsume (still towed by Shadow) and LinearZZ thought they were on a sure thing as we all agreed the cache was there, but it wasn't. Then a check of the logs suggested significant cache creep (or jump) had occurred which was shortly confirmed at 15:55. Thanks Robmc. Meanwhile Alsume lost his tow.
This one took us quite a while as we were concentrating on one particular corner of the triangle given that that's where all our GPSrs were telling us it was. There was even a 'suspicious' hidey hole with a couple of displaced rocks close to our collective GZs that made us think we were looking for a 'goner'. A read of a previous log however moved us to a different corner some 17 or so metres away where Alsume spotted the stash at 15:55. Maybe some significant cache creep has occurred here.
Just as we were leaving, Lizard1983 arrived and although we didn't get a chance to chat or even introduce ourselves [8)], at least we were able to guide the way for them.
TNLNSL, although our Pleased to Meet Ya geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Robmc.

With too much annual leave built up I have started to take a few random days off to get it back down again so I took the bike out for 4 hours today along these trails on the opposite side of the city to what I am normally on. I managed 39 finds and 4 DNF's.
Apart from a few council workers near the first few caches, it was awesome on a Friday, clear trails and virtually no muggles anywhere to hinder my searches.
Stopped by here, parked the bike and after a couple of minutes I found the cache at the opposite end of the garden to what my GPS wanted and also what the satellite image was telling me. Maybe someone moved it because there was a great hiding spot at the actual coordinates.
Thanks Robmc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
