Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Currently staying in Goomalling while we wait for the crops to be ready. [^] Today we headed out for a drive in the countryside. We visited Ballidu and then enjoyed lunch at Wongan Hills Hotel with Spudbex. We picked up a couple of caches along the way.TFTC WheatbeltScience
Caching our way to Koorda on day 1 of our country getaway.TFTC WheatbeltScience this is find #17450 for us.
Out here doing some night caches on our way to Merredin for a funeral tomorrow we made our way to his one with only one torch between the two of us after mine decided to call it a night and would switch on. We made a nice quick find at gz and added our names to your log. We returned your cache back to where it resides. Its always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to report this one is doing just fine. TFTC WheatbeltScience.
Heading to to folks farm for a bed overnight with axell33. We have been wandering through the evening/night picking off random caches at will on some of the less travelled roads, especially by us! I love finding lonely caches and this one was a quick find with all well here. We traded the day beauty to travel at night but were given a beautiful clear night to see the amazing sky show out here! I always love where caching takes us and this is a great spot. Thanks for the hide here WheatbeltScience.
Intermittent phone reception but I had downloaded the coordinates to the gps. Alas still unable to locate the cache
Out in the Wheatbelt again for the second consecutive weekend. This weekend the plan was to attack a number of towns in the North Eastern Wheatbelt and attend the FOTT event in Minnivale. It was a terrific weekend. Thank you to all the COs involved in providing entertainment this weekend.
Cheers WheatbeltScience!
Cheers WheatbeltScience!
Thanks WheatbeltScience for placing and maintaining this cache. Added a few PT to the container
A nice stroll from where I parked up. Had a nice chat with a couple who were interested in what Geocaching is all about. Glad to make the find as they watched ( no pressure) Thanks Wheatbelt Science for placing this cache and for bringing me here. All in good condition.
Stopped nearby for lunch. An enjoyable walk around the track. Decided to head back to the bitumen from here as could see some heavy rain coming. A good spot to return during wildflower season. TFTC
Out and about in the Central Wheatbelt area this weekend on a mission to grab some missing LGA's. After 1200 odd K's, 43 finds, a few DNF's and two nights under the stars, it was mission accomplished.
With each of the 12 missing LGA's containing a WST hide this was one of the first on my list while prepping for the trip. Sort of took the hard way to GZ after parking about 200 meters away which was an interesting exercise in thongs. Arrived at GZ and rummaged around for a bit before spotting the container.
WheatbeltScience I found your cache at 3:34pm, this was the 13th of 15 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5873. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there WheatbeltScience, I was in this area today and found your cache WST - Oak Park GC78XKR. I added my name to the log book at 5:36 pm on 29 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This cache find brings our total find count to 11003. Woohoo!!

Thank you! Being a public holiday, I took the opportunity to take a road trip to Dalwallinu for caches, LGAs and clues. This would be a lovely place to visit in spring. I enjoyed the walk around this area, and found the cache in good condition.
I decided to spend my last day off work going on a little road trip with the geo-mutt to a few unfound caches in this area.
Last time we were at this park, there was plenty of water in the lagoon, and we found an archived cache after wading through it. Today it was dry, but there was a cache to be found .. so it could have very well been snowing with 40 knot winds for all i cared
I had the Captiva today, so there was no driving to GZ, but we both enjoyed the walk and the whispering oaks as we went
Once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. I was a bit surprised however, as it was a 400ml sistema and not the pvc pipe as promised . Not to worry .. the log was signed and the cache returned as found.
TFTC WheatbeltScience ... a great place to visit, and with plenty of history [^]

This cache wasn't on our agenda today but when it appeared on the screen we decided to detour - and so glad we did. Reserve was awash with flowering wattle and a carpet of yellow daisies as far as the eye could see. Thanks WheatbeltScience.
Here for the junior hockey wind up. First time here since this cache was placed, so took the chance to get it. TFTC
Took a detour on our way to Wylie in order to nab these two caches. Pleasant walk until it started to rain and our ww gear was back in car, Muggle husband hi-tailed it back but I wasn't coming all this way to retreat so easily. Persevered and came up trumps. TFTC. Nicely hidden but was careful to use a stick venturing into hollow logs.
We headed out to the country to get away from the city and visit family, we took the opportunity to clean up a few on the map around the area. A nice quick find TFTC
Out today with L68, heading to Wubin via a number of wheatbelt country towns to cleanup three more of the wheatbelt science trail caches and a few others that have appeared since I was last in the area. Thanks for a great day out.
Out with B12 getting smiles in the wheatbelt; saw a wild echidna hide inside large tree trunk.
Container hidden well from local muggles. Thank you WheatbeltScience

We had a free day and the weather was perfect so decided on a short caching trip to Koorda. Thanks for the cache WheatbeltSciencee we had fun looking for it.
Driving past on our way to Wongan Hills when the GPS went bing. So we decided it was worth the stop. Had to park in the parking area and walk to this one as the track was a bit too sandy for us.

A quick find on a beautiful spring day.
The last weekend of the holidays and what better way to spend it. Geocaching around the Golden Wheatbelt showcasing some interesting, beautiful and historical places along the way.
This is why we enjoy geocaching.

Almost didn't come out here because it was 1:30 and I wanted to scoot straight to Goomaling for lunch. Certainly worth the look though.
Beautiful afternoon for a walk! Lovely trail - our first - first-to-find! Much excitement Left a trackable.
