TFTC! ) Didnt have a pen on me cos Im silly. Found both containers. Coords were off, previous logs helped.
Coords were slightly off for me so I resorted to the clue which could be interpreted 2 ways and naturally I chose the wrong option first. TFTC!
I counted and my GPS agreed.Found two, signed the one that had a log sheet inside.
Had to get to Berrima this afternoon for a pickup so left early and targeted caches around Moss Vale. As Borat would say "great success", as I managed to find everything I had left in town. This one was pretty straightforward. TFTC!
Discovered this cache on my way home after doing the WACCO route. Added a new log book next to the old soggy one!
Confused as I found two almost identical containers side by side, so I signed the one with the driest log. A very quick find with the park deserted. Thanks for the cache
A trip to cache around the mid north coast of NSW via the southern tablelands. TFTC.Nice quick find
Found at 1:01 PM GAFF1.After a shop at Coles for an extravaganza meal of Kebab Mashwi with Greek potatoes and a nice salad with great regional wines, we had lunch here of left over roast lamb from last nights dinner. We eat well during our trips! And what was a bonus was that there was a cache here, so we were surprised to see it nearly totally covered by wood dust after all of the rain recently - very well concealed. Thanks to InsaneDrCheesyFeedback: As I'm writing this log I had a look at the hint and thank goodness I didn't have to rely on that! What the heck does that mean?
Easy find here today although I was completely oblivious to the nearby muggles who suddenly appeared when cache needed to be returned to the hiding spot. TFTC!
Headed out after school today to celebrate the first day back. We parked up and started our walk to GZ. Both geokids were super excited, wanting to be the one to find it. We got to the location and started looking, of course in the wrong tree. After a little reevaluation of the facts, we changed location and quickly found the cache.
I got slightly confused at this point, the dates on the log were from 2022, but it has been found this year, also other geocachers had reported that the container was damaged and the log was wet... we found a perfectly intact cache with a dry easy to write on the log. This makes me wonder if there is an imposter cache hidden in the area. We put everything back as we found it and hope we found the actual cache.
TFTC and the adventure.

Found with sebass19 on a huge day of caching in the Southern Highlights; all up, 68 finds for me today, not bad considering the heat! Quick find at GZ, a very cool twist on a classic type of container. However, the logbook is unfortunately very wet and needs replacing. This park is beautiful though, TFTC InsaneDrCheesy!
While following the cache coordinates, out of the corner of my eye I saw the cache flipped over !! Quiet easy to find because of that. Couldn’t log since I didn’t have a pen, here’s some proof I found it

such an awesome cache! found fairly quickly. log was soaking wet and wasn’t able to write on it so may need replacing
Decided to get out on foot for some caching today.
The park was deserted today, I was only watched by some sheep.
Log was very wet so I added another slip of paper

The clue made sense and I searched but no luck, and then Mrs SKI looked where I had been and turned up the cache.
It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache InsaneDrCheesy.

After a previous dnf and me requesting service for it to be replaced, it has finally been replaced.
After school decided to find this cache with my geodad and geosister which was sitting in the car.
My sister is also diabetic and she was going low so we didn’t have time to sign the cache + it was really muddy from the rain so watch out.

Hasn’t been found in a while and looks like the council have cut some branches so can you maybe check it?
Had to dig around a bit but good find and very cool camo. Log was a little wet and falling apart a bit though. Tftc!!
Really behind on my logs and only just catching up, sorry for any generic type logs!I picked up Littl3Vix early this morning, we were headed down to Mittagong area and we had a big day of fun and caching planned. It was a great day to be out, and an awesome day for us, bagging 30 finds in the few hours we were here. Having a good day so far, this was next on our drive. I got parking nearby and we wandered to GZ, making quick work here with the great coords. Unfortunately, the log was wet and we couldn't sign but LV has a picture for the CO if needed. Thanks for the cache!
Find #524 on streak day #177.
An early start today for my geoventure with MizCupcake. We met up and headed down to the Southern Highlands for a day of caching and to enjoy the area. We had a lot of fun making our way through the towns and back roads to each of the caches and had many victorious finds today, ending up with 30 finds by the time we decided to head back home.
Driving through and having a good run, this was our 18th find. We parked the geomobile close by and headed to gz. Coords are good for this one so we had CIH quickly. *Unfortunately we were unable to sign this as the log is completed drenched.* I have taken a photo as proof of our find and can send it through to the CO if needed. TFTC,
Counting down to the end of the year and with a big effort today, I reached a massive statistic that I will never get another chance to achieve with my 33 cache finds today. This year has been a massive year with so many achievements and reaching an average 8 caches per day is the personal crown on top of everything else.
I achieved it with a trip to the Southern Highlands and by leaving early, we beat the heat and finished about 1:00pm.
A big thanks to all the cachers who have placed and maintained the caches that have helped me reach this milestone.

A lovely chance to stop and stretch our legs on our drive to Canberra today. We have been gradually making our way down the coast from Brisbane and taking a few back roads and visiting us a few smaller towns. Like everything else in this area, the park is looking a little too dry and today in the heat it was quite empty.
Thanks for the lovely, well camouflaged hide.

Another trip up the highway to grab a few more around the Southern Highlands. Rapidlywild joined us for the assault and the fun. The weather was lovely with a nice cool breeze. Not a bad haul for the day, and we were all pretty pleased at the end of the full day. We left a couple just to taunt us to return and continue our journey through this pretty area. Thanks Rapidlywild for another funfilled day.

Plan had been in the pipeline with the FFLL ladies to do another Southern Highlands caching run however we have had to move the date a couple times due to changes of circumstances. Today we finally made our way back up the very familiar highway to get cracking on some more finds. Our main target today were a few Muppet puzzles that had comments on them about upcoming archives so we wanted to get the checked off since we had solved them. Target caches were found and quite a few extra more
Back to seek revenge on a prior DNF. We went to the exact location we went last time, only this time there was a cache there. Very strange as we had 3 sets of eyes check this location last time and what we found today, definitely was not in this spot. Nevermind, all good in the end, we can turn that blue frown into a yellow smilie.
Thanks for the cache placement InsaneDrCheesy

Day trip up the highway with fitzy_1965, GLISS! & SpecimenX on a dreary winters day.
Most caches found quickly. Thanks to all the CO's.
Have driven past this park many, many times with no time to stop. Glad to change that today.

The geo team of GLISS!, minniek, fitzy_1965 and myself hit the Southern Highlands for an easy day of quality caching and to knock off a selection of target caches. Great day had by all!
Wandered up from the geomobile and we had cache in hand in a jiffy. One of my favourite container types these ones although these are micros and not smalls

I had one child at a cub camp in Berrima and another doing a canoeing course in the Kangaroo Valley, so my wife and I stayed in Moss Vale for a weekend of caching. I ducked out to find a few nearby early morning caches while the misses was still snoozing. Thanks InsaneDrCheesy
Found today with daughter Provably Bex. Tricksy hide. Cache in good condition. TFTC

So having not collected a lot of caches in one day since going to the Mega, I was getting itchy feet. I also need two finds today for my calendar finds goal. So with all my ducks lined up I headed south to the land of the Tic-Tac Container for a day’s plundering.
Started with a long walk picking up thirteen power trail finds. A number of them had wet and/or full logs. Two had the container a bit away from the camo - which I rectified.
Then grabbed a few sets of caches closer to Moss Vale.
Good day, and still plenty of caches here to grab in the future.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
He iPhone was jumping more the closer to GZ I got.
So even though I noticed a likely hidey hole early on I followed the needle. Finally checked that spot... Of course it’s there.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then walked to my next target.

OCW marj01 around the Southern Highlands. A busy day with most of the finds being park and grab. TFTC
I did not have any plans to coming do any geocaching today, but a chance conversation with The Rats on Friday evening changed that. He pointed out that there were two events on in the Highlands today, and that he could get away for a morning out. And just like that, some plans were hatched.
We headed off reasonably early, and made our way to the first event. Between events we found one of the new Geo Trails nearby, and then headed to the second event. Finally we nabbed some Mittagong caches, before visiting an Earth Cache (apparently that is a thing today) and heading back for home. An excellent morning out, despite the cold weather, and at times torrential rain!
I think I have found a geocache somewhere in this park once before!
Thanks to all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining their hides. It was fantastic exploring this part of the world.
Cheers

**This Cache:**
Buggered by now, over 70 caches for the day and starting to feel it! Parked close by for this one and stepped over some pipes and a fence to walk to GZ. A good little hiding spot was found once I was there and a good cache
Thanks for placing, high quality for your first! Keep it up

**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^

Tftc nice and easy awesome park. Just killing time while my car gets serviced thought to do some geocaching but after coming here first I might use this awesome warm clear day to sit back and enjoy a book thanks for letting me discover this park I would never have known about before
I called in here on the way into town to order a meal, and with a threatening thunderstorm the park was deserted. I raced to GZ before the rain arrived and soon saw where the cache was, it had been placed under quite a large amount of natural camo which made it very obvious. I logged and replaced the camo and luckily just made it back to the car before the storm arrived. Thanks InsaneDrCheesy for a good hide in a nice park.
Spent a lovely day in the highlands mostly sightseeing but occasionally we stopped to grab a nearby cache.
We stopped here to finish our frozen cokes before the days heat melted them. The cache was a pleasant walk into the park.
Thanks
