On the 1st of January 2019 we found our one and only Walk with the Dinosaurs hide. Its the one at the top of the lookout and I remember why we didnt find any others. We thought we would walk down the hill and then back up again, but it was so damn hot that the mission was aborted.Today we came to make amends and were muggled out at the top and bottom of the Mount. It will take us another 5 years to get back so instead we grabbed the hides on the dirt road. tftc
I think we found it but it looks nothing like the picture. Anyway, log signed and returned.
Skipped the ones along the road due to the long grass and started here. Thanks for the cache lcoll112
MM drove me to the top so I could take in the views and then seek out all the caches along the trail on the way down.
Haven’t seen one of these for a while. Some people may not even know what they are

Out hunting dinosaurs this morning and with a bit of effort managed a clean sweep
Some had numbers a few didn’t as they appeared to be replacements
Will have to message the co for some help to obtain the ultimate prize when next out this way.
Cheers

Out for the day around Kingaroy celebrating my July birthday (yes! it took the stars a while to align) with my precious acquired family from across the road. Bought them to Mt Wooroolin as they were not aware of the stunning lookout. Of course as we are all geocachers we checked the phone... low and behold... lets do some caches. So we turned left after coming down from Mt Wooroolin and decided we would follow the trail.
TFTC .. all happy and in good order. TNLN... Thank you Icoll112

Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

It was moving day today as we traveled the short distance from Nanango to Kingaroy. The road was too bust to collect caches on the way so we headed straight to the showgrounds where we set up camp. Then it was off to collect as many caches as we could. Puzzles, multis and traditionals on a warm overcast day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache lcoll112.

Stopping in Kingaroy for a couple of days as we bimble around before we head back to Ipswich. Decided to tackle these ahead of the rain forecast for the rest of this week.

Today decided to tackle the Walk with the Dinosaurs series. Spent a 1-2 hours venturing around to get 11 caches, luckily the weather was cool. Thoroughly enjoyed finding these caches. TFTC Sparhawke

We are based at the Kingsley Grove winery with our caravan and headed out to do this cache. Thanks for hiding and giving us the opportunity to explore.
Found on a sunny Winter day for a drive to Kingaroy.
while on a stopover for a few days.
Many good safe hides and not many muggles around today.
Cache condition is/was very poor. So I added a temp cache and a temp log sheet.
The lid with the code is still there but loose.!
So the CO will need to visit and replace the container.
Thanks for the cache lcoll112,

A quick find today, but the micro log is full both sides. Found a small spot to write "George M". TFTC.
I had a look for this one while Mrs George walked down from the lookout along the walking track. Found OK, but the micro log sheet is full and needs replacing. Managed to add "George M" in a small space. TFTC lcoll112.
On my way to drop off my daughter (Doscrapbooking) in Nanango to stay with her mother, a bit of time up our sleeve, what better way to spend some time than Geocaching.
Got the clue.
Fortunately we have a 4x4, took the track and turned 3,4 & 5 into driveby's, made life a little easier
All good with the cache, although a lot of rain through here recently.

Out for a morning's cache run to grab all the caches west of the Highway, most were quick finds while a few took a bit more searching for.

Log was full, signed and dated it PJT over some faded logs. All is good otherwise. Tftc
Found while in the area visiting family with my muggle partner thank you for placing this cache here for us to find.
It was time to do a bit of travelling again with ilook4geo, but we were only collecting a few caches along the way today. We found all the ones we had on the list to do. We signed each log and put everything back in place before we moved on. Thanks go to lcoll112 for putting this cache into play.
Time to hit the road again with goingplaces2 and pick up a few caches too. Thanks for placing this cache.
Start the dinosaur cache walk here, heading up to Mt Woorolin. Nice track to follow, all caches within a few metres of track
On our way home slowly after the QOGM event in Blackall and finding some great geocaches along the way.
If the container is small we may sign as CG.
Lots of thanks to lcoll112 for placing the cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

While staying in the Barambah Bush Caravan Park we headed off to try for a few more smilies nearby.
Our main aim was the ‘Walk With The Dinosaurs’ series near Kingaroy but we grabbed any we could find while passing by.
Another quick and easy find.
Thanks lcoll112

We are on our way to Blackall QOGM, our 6th stop on our trip is Nanango.
This morning we decided not to move to Kingaroy but instead took a day trip from Nanango.
Our main target was the dinosaur trail & a few others around town.
Thankyou for placing this cache lcoll112

Only got time for a couple of these today. Quick find while visiting from Perth. Thanks for the cache.
On our way back home after spending couple of days in Central Queensland. We decided we need a walk, so we followed the Dinosaur Trail.
Thanks a lot for all the caches!
Thanks a lot for all the caches!
I had spent the night in Kingaroy on a roadtrip with my girls. This morning on the way to pick up their friend from a nearby property we stopped so I could collect a few caches. Miss 16 took advantage of the opportunity to clock up some time behind the wheel and was the driver as I hopped in and out of the car collecting as many caches as we had time for. The bend at the top of the hill tested her out a bit, but she managed like a trooper and lived to drive another day. Tftc Icoll112!
Today I had to drive from Brisbane to Kingaroy and back for some work meetings. After our meeting was over we headed to this country road - which was a bit busier than I thought it would be - to find a few of the caches in this series. Not enough time to find them all today but I managed to find a few. This was the first one that I found here. Found after a short search. TFTC, Biggles.
The walk back up the massive hill to get our car was murder, but we did find this thankfully. TFTC
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Lisylou). TFTC!
This was our first find in this series because we parked across the road in a little nook. The area a little way from this cache has loads of broken glass and booze bottles here so be careful with any mini-geos you have coming along. We filled a bag with some of it and popped into our car before continuing but couldn't take it all.
Now it was time to head up and collect some more dinosaurs!
MrGravel and I decided that today we would take the drive out to Kingaroy and collect a few more caches. Then I saw that there was this Dinosaurs series and the decision was made - let's do it.
We have enjoyed the different views, sights, sounds and scratchy trees and bushes not to mention the slippery red dirt LOL
We had started at the bottom and just parked in a nice little nook off the dirt road so were able to collect quite a few on our way to the lookout.
This cache was found easily and in good shape

Out with my better half Hippy Donna today & she mentioned that we would be chasing dinosaurs, thought this could be fun & to be honest it was fun, thoroughly enjoyed the whole process tracking caches to find the elusive letterbox.
As you may have noticed going on the Hippy Donna post we started at this one first, love the little dinosaur token on top.

After finding this one we went to the lookout and tackled the others from the top.
We had a start at this series before the storm came. then we went to the lookout to watch the lightning
Found during a brief stop over while on my way to Brisbane. An easy find TFTC
While camping in the Nanango area with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out & about finding some caches in the surrounding areas.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Hi there lcoll112.
We are on our way to [QOGM](https://coord.info/GC7P875), the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, which is being held in Barcaldine. We stopped off in Kingaroy today on our way westward so we could break our journey and log a few geocaches.
Our find total today was 13 caches & we DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 4m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Walk with the dinosaurs 6
26/08/2018
104 Km from Home
We had loaded up Scooby Doo (Car) & the Mystery Machine (Van and mobile GEO HQ) and headed off to Kingaroy QLD for the inaugural Baconfest. After checking into the Kingaroy Holiday Park (Recommended) we were all set for 3 days of celebrating all things bacon. Although apart from the event name, most of the weekend showcased pork rather than bacon.
With all that yummy bacon and pork on offer (the “Butchers Block’ meal in the RSL bistro is certainly a vegan free zone) we needed to do a bit in between to stop the arteries hardening completely, what better way to do it than chase a few caches.
One of 20+ easy finds in between rain showers and lunch at Baconfest.
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints, and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick. and the log is in good condition and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache lcoll112.
Cheers

Not fans of night caching so we don't do it often. This road is spooky at night too (just saying)... the geokids were totally freaking out and insisted they could see eyes up ahead .... we totally dismissed them saying it's just the road reflectors in the headlights... but no wait.... omgosh there are eyes!!!! It was a fox
A fleeting visit to Kingaroy and drive up to a nearby lookout Most of the caches in this series were exposed and carelessly tossed back at GZ. I tried to place them back in obvious hiding spots. Collected clues from a few (but not all) and will be back sometime to look for the caches on the walking track.

Walked past some guys that looked to be doing some sort of shady deal on the way to this cache. Glad I was't alone. The Cache however was quickly located and in great condition.
