FINALLY!!! Yay!!Not hard once I actually had a muggle free, not hurrying to a bus moment to find it lol.Have passed by and tried to find this one sooo many times but usually only have a tiny window before bus due to find it.
**22,074**A nice quick find here today. Much easier to search when the neighbouring property isnt occupied. Always pleased to turn a blue face to yellow. TFTC
I'm now back in NZ, having spent the last couple of months in Europe, and today I'm traveling to pick up my car that friends have been looking after in my absence. This means experiencing the wonder that is the Auckland Transit public transport system.By now I was in Sunnynook, where I was meeting up with my friends, but there was a walk involved of about 1.5lm which would allow me to grab a few caches along the way, and this was one of those.A straightforward find here as I was lucky enough to have GZ to myself. No issues to report with the cache, so everything was replaced as found once I'd added my name to the log. Thanks for setting this one up.
A straight forward find here with the good hint then it was time for me to head over to the other side of the motorway for more caches. TFTC
Fourth find for the evening was a nice easy one, while I was signing the log, I was passed by a fast-moving muggle, and on my way back to the car I heard a bus arriving, which explains their hurry! A great spot, TFTC!
We found this cache in Auckland at Port #1 of our New Zealand Cruise Tour. Back to the bus stop before heading back to Auckland but came back out on the side path to get this cache first. Thanks from D & HA B-A
M24: I came here earlier today to find it, and looking at where I found the cache, I could've found it the first time, but muggles everywhere. Anyway, first name on the new log, nice and easy, kinda. TFTC.
Worked my way up and down the walkway as my GPSr could not settle. After reading the previous log I was about to log a DNF but thought I’d give it one last sweep. Fortunately, my efforts were rewarded with a find. TFTC
found some questionable rubbish at GZ but no sign of the cache. checked flaxes and ground in case it had become dislodged, but no luck today.
After coffee at little goodies. A short walk down to the bus station.
Great camo
Great camo
I don't know how many times we have walked this walkway. Nice quick find . TFTC
The cache was laying on the ground but I tucked it away again. Thanks for placing it here and kicking off my geocaching adventure today TFTC
Quick find here but had to outwait a nearby resident who was watching me further up the road. I eventually left to get another cache nearby before coming back. No one around so hurried to sign the log. TFTC
Great cache, but in the dark I did wonder how you managed to attach it magnetically to wood so I had to get down on my hands and knees for a good nosey. Luckily there weren't any commuters to going home to wonder what I was doing.
Pretty much one week since looking for the sister cache at Smales and here I am again searching for an alunb cache. GPS took a while to settle but got there in the end and signed and replaced same. Time to try and beat the busy traffic, yeah right!
I have a few tasks and chores to get finished later this afternoon for work and had a delish sausage sizzle for lunch, quite a warmer after the another frost this morning, the third in a fortnight at Whenuapai! So after lunch and tying up a few loose ends I did my long loop back home, via a few caches of course. Redeemed a DNF, repeated another and got 2 new ones for the collection. Still, good to go back and look again another time.

Another calendar day another cache, as I was working I decided to try for a cache that was an easy grab and easy to get to, this one seemed just the ticket.
Upon arriving at GZ my GPS was taking a bit to settle but I had a good idea of where to search. I soon had the cache in hand and log book signed, as there was very few muggles passing by. Thanks for the cache #1205

I've been enjoying finding the Northern Busway series, pretty sure I only have Constellation left to find now. Quick find here, clearly the spiders like it too as it's a bit cobwebby but the container and log are both fine. TFTC!
Made a quick detour to grab this cache on my way home! Its tucked away nicely and well camoed! Made a quick find thanks to the spot on coordinates and the good hint! TFTC
This was the last one in the Northern Busway series I had to find . Quick find at GZ but it took me a while to figure out how to re-hide it, I went to quick too get it and couldn't quite recall how it was set. Eventually got it back in place before anyone came around. TFTC
Another good cache found today with woolwood9
We enjoyed walking / driving around the area
*Thanks for putting out this container for us to find!*

We went for some nice quick finds after dinner, enjoying the longer days. Tftc!
Saturday afternoon was a good time to look for this cache as the area was deserted and we were able to search without being watched. Thanks to the hint we soon located the cache.
No one on the walkway today so Jag 50 and I could search unheeded and we quickly found the cache thanks to the hint and great co-ords
Out ticking off caches for the Mystery at the Museum challenge. Nice hide. Had to wait a bit for muggles coming home on the bus. Thanks alunb.
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 6 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I thought I would try out the Sunnynook area on the Shore.
It was nicely tucked away.
Cheers for the cache.

I decided to leave home extra early before attending G-2's event nearby to view his mythical workshop. Ended up parked on the other side of the bus station, so I walked around to GZ. There were quite a few muggles around, so I ended up sitting on the wall 'checking' my phone every time one of them walked past before continuing to feel for the cache, as my GPS bounced around a bit.
After looking for a few G-2 caches we came down here to look for a last couple of caches before heading back into town. A Sunday afternoon was the perfect day to look for this one as the area was deserted and we were able to have a look without being disturbed. In the end it didn't take very long to find the cache and the hint was very useful. Thanks for the cache, all good here.
Popped out at lunchtime and had a workmate with me to show them what geocaching was about. Its really nice when you find them without too much trouble. Nicely crafted cache and hide. Think this might be the first one we've found of yours!! SL. TFTC.
Miss Two and I are going for a ride on the busses this afternoon, and collecting this series on the way. This was our first successful stop. Thanks!
Out and about to collect enough caches to earn the souvenir that is on offer but ends today. Thought we had enough to qualify about 3 caches before this but dint get notification. Anyhow got this and made it our last one no matter what. Its a shame as I was saving this for tomorrow as have a few days off work and as we arrived home and logged on saw we have indeed got the souvenir. Only one more to collect for this series will be most likely Tuesday around 10.30 am! Cheers Alunb!
Had a wee walk in the sun - found the cache and enjoyed the stroll back to the car. T4tc
We're moving up the bus stations! Haha got the Akoranga ones when I used to work nearby, and got the Smales Farm one a couple of nights ago. Probably heading to the Constellation one later. These are easy ones, good for getting at night. Tftc
Took a couple of minutes to zero in on the exact location but since it was pretty much deserted we had all the time in the world. Thanks!
Getting tired now, it's been a off again on again affair with the rain today, I'm quite damp but not cold, so this is my 2nd to last cache for the day. With all the cars parked up in this street, I had to park almost at the top and walk back down. Got to the walkway and after a little too-ing and fro-ing I came up with the goodies, never saw any gecko's today! Cheers alunb for the cache.
Out in the area with NZIceman as he was taking a driving assessment. After dropping him off cragger, laval and I filled in the time picking up some local caches.
Was distracted for a bit with all the little lizard/geckos (never know what they are called!) climbing around the area - there were quite a few that we saw which was pretty cool. Finally got back on track and laval made easy work of the find. Log signed, cache returned we took a few more photos of the geckos and we were off to the next find.
Thanks for the cache.

I was in too much if a hurry, so I missed it on my the first pass. Once I was more careful, I found it easily. TFTC.
Working on the Shore this morning, so made a short detour to Sunnynook to find this cache. Walked along the pathway to GZ and made a quick find. Thanks.
With such good hints it was a quick find here. Log signed b&p. Find number 4339.
Thanks for the cache alunb.

Came past here after jumping off at the nearby bus station. The attachment needs some attention so will disable briefly, TB visited
Found the cache was no longer attached where it was intended, so will need to fix this. Temporarily disabled
#336. I came looking for this a few weeks ago after work, but the area was too busy so I stopped looking. Came back on a Saturday and there was no foot traffic to disturb me. Spread out my search, felt my way along, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.
I popped out to find a few local caches this afternoon, before dinner. Great weather for it today. I parked up on the side street and made the short walk to GZ. Looked here, then there and soon found the item of interest. Cheers for the cache placement!
Like others trying to find the magnetic part was tricky, however got it back in place. Thanks for a great wee cache (:
More trouble putting it back than making the grab, couldn't get the magnet to align with anything at first.

Was in the area this morning grabbing the FTF on your "In a corner" so came round here to also grab this one. Was reading the description and walked straight passed it then came back for a quick find. Nicely hidden tho. TFTC
Slowly working my way through these busway caches and after scoring a nice close parking spot the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Nifty container here alunb !

Enjoying your Busway series !

We have met Alun & partner on several occasions geocaching and have enjoyed their company. Guess there is not much chance running in to him tonight Seems to be a break in the weather so paused the TV program, jumped in the car and headed on over. Cache quickly found and a (FTF) to boot. - Kiwiscot19's FTF coin visited
The Northern Bus Way has been a great addition to the public transport system on the shore. There have been some issues with not enough Park n Ride car parks initially created in Albany. Even after that capacity being increased it still seems to be overflowing. Sunnynook may be the smallest station without any long term parking but in its favour is the large amount of housing on its doorstep making it very easy for the local population to utilise.
Was not aware of the of the other 2 new publications until after returning home, so unfortunately KirsTim we did not have that 'bugger' moment today. Nice to pay you back though. I am sure we owe you a few. Good to share the FTF's around

After going to Constellation nearby we thought as we only live up the road that we'd pop down to Sunnynook. With only the phone we thought we might struggle, but luckily found it in the second place we looked.....bugger, beaten to the FTF by Kiwiscot19. Thats ok, they'll say the same when they get to Constellation
More gold coins for the treasure chest, thanks alunb
