Logs
Nice sunny Sunday over in Hawkesbury region with Graubunden. One of many geofinds out there. TFTC Cruzebuddie
Quick find with accurate coords and helpful hints. I had a great afternoon caching around the Richmond - Kurrajong area before the Beer O'Clock Event in North Richmond. OCW Gavingo4 and GHHH. TFTC Cruzebuddie
Went to the wrong tree at first, then looked at the GPS which took me to the right one. Nice new log.log and container all good. TFTC.
Found it, but it appears someone has put slime in this cache, which has leaked everywhere
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" easy & hard souvenir chase. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 2) we explored the areas around Wilberforce, Ebenezer, and Sackville. Completed a five stage Adventure Lab, as well as a couple of random Adventure Lab stages (waypoints), and collected numerous Traditional caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, a MultiCache, and a Virtual cache. This was the 4th of 31 finds for the day (day 2), and 24th find of the holiday.
This one was next, as we drove along Freemans Reach Road, and it was another nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. No action on the playing fields today, but there are good views out over the farmlands from GZ. TFTC Cruzebuddie.

Short walk to the hide and no one about here. Nice spot for a picnic I’m sure.

It was cooler today, so we thought we would just go for a hunt around this area and pick up some caches to put some more smileys on the map. This cache was an easy find and the log was soon signed with no muggles around. All was replaced as found. TFTC.
The playing fields look magnificent after a fresh cut, all ready for Saturday morning games
No scoreboard seen at all, seems the item the container was attached to has been removed
Scoreboard appears to have been removed, maybe should try another hide method here
Out and about on a sunny and warm day in September finding previously unfound caches north of the Hawkesbury River around Freemans Reach, Glossodia, and Wilberforce. Most were pretty easy to find, although parking wasn't always easy. Amazing to see the erosion and destruction surrounding these caches located close to the river bank after floods earlier in the year. Was easy once I figured out which wheel I needed to look at. SL TFTC Cruiseforever!
We enjoyed a walk around this field whilst searching for three caches. Took a few minutes to find this. Well placed. TFTC Cruzebuddie
To good for us today. Looked everywhere even with all the hints and photos better luck next time
After the nearby 'Cricket' cache, we had to walk across the field to this one. Wow, the old scoreboards are relics from a time gone by.
Searched for 10mins and was about to give up and contemplate a DNF because we saw a white ute parked at GZ only 10mins earlier, when Mrs Malkovich says 'Hey, look!' and there was the cache container. SL and returned cache to the same spot. TFTC!

Today was a road trip around the Hawkesbury area. An ambitious list of caches to find as I set myself a target of reaching 10,000 finds by year end. Covid-19 lockdown put a spanner in the works and I now have only two months to find the remaining 200+ caches. So rather than interesting caches, I had to schedule a day in the car and go for quantity, rather than quality.
Quick find today.
This is 6 of 61 finds today. TFTC!

Checked cache after the flood and now the road is opened replaced cache & log sheet all good to go
Found at 8:48 AM GAFF3.
Good to see that even the turf farmers have bare patches in their lawns [:o)]
Took a bit of looking around as I had a completely different idea of how the cache was going to be hidden. Went around and discovered more and more parts of the structure until I arrived at the last possible spot - and there it was!
Thanks Cruzebuddie.

Finally I have avenged my DNF from November 2018 when I was out in Windsor for the GIFF event. Very sad - no GIFF this year.
That day I came here before the event and looked for this one as apparantly did a few others but it was gone.
I have been past here since but there has always been a Playing Field full of athletes and lots more muggle spectators not far from GZ. I did expect the same today but as I approached the oval which looks in great condition, I could see the place was completely deserted. I quickly pulled off the road and walked down to GZ.
Its definitely not as windy here as at home but it was windy enough to blow the irrigation spray over to me while I found the cache and signed the log.
Glad to have a smilie instead of a frown.

Great day of caching near the Hawkesbury River. Started in Ebenezer with the AL, unfortunately very unsuccessful as the location service on my phone was struggling and could not fix on the wp's I needed. Luckily I also made a good plan for other caches so the day turned out productive. Weather was really good, about 20 with a little breeze and nice and sunny. How many back wheels can there be?

Out doing Cruiseforever caches today
This cache took some looking as there are so many places to hide but once I took in the hint, I soon had cache in hand. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

An easy and quick find on the way back from a paddle on the Colo River.

I was a bit worried that this one might take quite long to find, given that there are several spots to place a cache here. However, the search was quick and soon I spotted something that looked like a container of sorts, hidden as one would expect. Sure enough, I soon had the cache in hand and was able to add my name to the list of those who have come before me.
Once everything was back where I had found it, I had a quick look towards the last cache in this area. Alas, there were some muggles playing in the cricket nets, so I decided to leave that cache for some other time when there was nobody around.

After a walk around the old boards I noticed the geo sign and soon had the stash
Thank Cruzebuddie for the cache
