Thank you for hosting this geocaching event! The date of the event has passed. We automatically archive events after 30 days (60 days for Mega- and Giga-Events). Attendees can still log archived events, log trackables, and share their experiences.
We were planning to come, but after a big day out caching and late home to catch the train into the city, sorry will not be to meet you. Hope it is a great event.
Great to meet EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer... so sorry to hear that the hosts got held up on their flight. It would've been lovely to meet you... hope the rest of your honeymoon is amazing. Dropped some trackables and discovered some others. Small but good event to meet some australian cachers. We missed the hosts though... thanks for arranging this event anyway. Enjoy your time in australia. And thanks EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer for saving me and my mum from standing on our own in the wind!
Here is the Event Photo of the 3 GCers who attended GC79CE8 @ Sydney Opera House. I have just seen the announcement from that they had a problem with their flight. That is disappointing. I hope the rest of your honeymoon/holiday goes smoothly, and that you still get to meet some local Geocachers, and find some local geocaches.
I was at the coordinates, at the right time. I arrived at the meet & greet with my Geodad EverestHigh, and met JoeNFFC. A nice clear night, with a great view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I was glad that there was still another cacher to meet at the event, and afterwards I watched the 'light up the sails' light show. TFTE Prinzel89 .
I arrived with MaxAdventurer and met JoeNFFC at GZ. No-one else turned up including the host. TFTE but would have liked to meet you.
Hi everyone, I'm so so so terribly sorry about that. We
Had some problems with our flight and I can't use internet without a wifi to announce you that.
I'm so so sorry.
That was infinite unluck!
Forgive me!

Holidaying from the UK and would love to attend after our Blue Mountain tour if you're all still there. Got some trackables to add to the pot. Look forward to meeting you all there. Yay!
I will try to attend, if I'm back from my son's basketball game in time to get there. Always good to meet other Geocachers, especially from other countries.
