In town for a few days for a wedding and all the stuff that goes along with it, hiccup, burp etc. Today it was an early morning run by myself through the forest tracks today. This was not too hard, not too easy once I found my way onto the track in the dark.

Um, pines and weedy undergrowth now. This definitely looks like an old road formation, and a couple of ebikers assured us it was an easy track.

We didn’t have a pen

We tried to access the track from the Totara St carpark - not advisable! Went back down to the street where the track started, and parked the car across the street.
A nice walk through the tall trees and had the track to ourselves this afternoon. I looked on the wrong side of the track while SW checked out the "right" side and he found the cache. TFTC.

Decided the weather wasn't looking too good today so wandering the trails around Geraldine looked to be the answer. Quick find here. tftc

Quick find as we continue on our route - unable to sign the papier-mâché log! TFTC

Unusable log sheet.

The cache is there, but the log paper is too wet to sign. Just fragments of blotting paper. The glucosamine bottle may have been used to ward off arthritis, but it doesn’t ward off rain!

During our round trip on the South Island we searched and found some caches, this one was also there.
We made a small hike through the forest and passed by here as well. The condition of the cache is very bad, so I do a photo-log.

Today the next tour with Vesperugo in Geraldine. It is a wonderful Region and we liked it so much to walk, explore and search the boxes.

Once I had found the accessway to this cache, it was but a short walk and a quick find. So it wasn't really a riddle for me. TFTC BCD.

I'm very familiar with the forest walks through here but not these bike tracks. I've had a couple of caches with a play on the name of the reserve myself (when there was only about one other cache in Geraldine). Obviously everything is in "Good health" here. TFTC # 12,574

Last weekend of the School holidays so decided to spend a couple nights in Geraldine. Time to grab a couple caches in and around and go for a walk in Geraldine before heading for home.....Cool track. Cheers.

Approached this one from across the dam and up the BMX tracks. Very steep clamber and returned via an alternative route. TFTC

It was a riddle finding how to get to it. Once we found the entrance it was a pleasant walk through the trees listening to the bird song. TFTC

the call came though for this at about midnight when I was having my break and yes I thought "I can do that" so I finished work and nailed another [FTF] close by and headed out to Geraldine to get these 2 as well found just on daybreak and a nice walk through the bush tftc Mr BCD favourite for the early morning wander through the bush and of course the FTF
