Logs
(7 of 9 today - including 2 Adventure Labs)Was after five finds for the Caching Calendar, so headed up to Wentworth Falls for today's caching degustation. Went early so as to be back well before we host one of our daughters-in-law for her birthday tonight.Found everything I went for - including a cache not found in over a year and with two recent DNFs on it.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Easy one near an artist's house. Well, I assume that as there was an easel set up at one of the windows.Followed the app to GZ where I made the grab, signed and replaced. And not as far into the bush as I expected.SLTNLNTFTC
What a remarkable story about Rosie, and lovely to hear there was a happy ending.
For us, too, there was a happy ending to a very quick search. It was easy to get to the cache, and a good spot to find the decent-sized cache. We didn't have sufficient time to explore the area a bit more, but perhaps we'll go for a longer walk around there on a future visit.
Log signed and then the cache was returned as found. Then a few more caches to look for before we headed back to the lake where we had our picnic lunch.

A little visit to the bush on a Sat morning. For once GPS spot on. Left a soccer ball and took the coloured clay. Tftc
Found with my 4 geokids (daughter, niece and 2 nephews). Left a few little swaps. TFTC!
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 2) we collected caches and Adventure Lab stages from Linden to Wentworth Falls, then completed an Adventure Lab around various parts of Wentworth Falls, before ending the day with a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake to complete an Adventure Lab and collect some more caches that we passed along the way. This was our 21st find of the day (day 2), and 37th find of the holiday.
Parked the geomobile on the side of the road, and then dashed into the bush for a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC swamp_skink.

Found It!
This one took me a bit longer to find than it should've but eventually I spotted it. Slightly to the south of where my GPS was taking me.

No photo of Rosie???
Initially this reminded me of a cool survivor story of Rosell and Salty, two guide dogs that guided their owners to safely while evacuating the twin towers on 9/11. There’s some really great podcasts on it.
Today at GZ there was a dad and a kid doing laps on the bike trail but that didn’t interrupt my caching. Cache is in great condition TFTC

My first find! Was a bit confused at first because I didn’t know what I was looking for, but when I thought about where I would hide something I found it pretty quick! Lots of fun <3
Great hiding spot. Forgot to bring a pen but not too far From home so will come back and sign the log another day.
Second cache adventuring with our newest member. Find credit goes entirely to GeoKid! We left a dice but didn't take anything. Thanks for the cache! Happy Mother's Day!!
Introduced a friend to geocaching with this one! She was very excited when she spotted it

A late afternoon cache run in the Blue Mountains picking up some previously unfound caches, particularly focussing on tree climbing attribute and regular-sized caches to boost our find for several challenge caches we are currently working on. A nice quick find at GZ. Both the container and log are in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache swamp_skink.

Found on a caching morning with the family. Nice area and views. Nice story about Rosie. TFTC.
Lovely spot for a cache! I enjoyed the view and a larger container for a change. Very out in the open so I added a bit more camo.

Was heading to the golf course to recycle some bottles and decided to check if any caches nearby. Nice and easy find, penguin out, meerkat in! TFTC!
Container has been stolen & at present I need help to get up to replace it as I can easily fall over at present and need someone to come there with me. New container ready to go when someone can help me.
Based on the photo taken by tessie29 we came to the exact spot but the cache is not there.
Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. TFTC
An easy find on a lovely afternoon walk close by our accommodation.

Waiting for the mums to prepare dinner with the last fading light, why not a quick scooter ride with the kids, especially for a regular sized cache. Could there be swag? Jackpot! Enough for all four kids to actually choose something they like. Over compensated in return and returned back to the holiday house in the dark in time for dinner. TFTC.
We assisted in trying to find Rosie by walking our dogs, Jack and Ringo around the neighborhood and into the bush in the hope of alluring her to our dogs.
