Found this cache along with goingplaces2 and did the signing before putting all back as found. The hardest part was actually finding the key, but it did come up for air. TFTC.
Had a mixture of cache types on the target list today while out caching with iloook4geo. Recognised the info as soon as we arrived at GZ and used that. Had a bit of troubke finding the key, but eventually found it and used it effectively. Signed the log book with both names and replaced all as found, including the key. Thanks go to Poiter.h for creating this letterbox cache with an extra challenge.
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Interesting cache.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Thor's day the seventeenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A short stop here today, I worked out where to go so went and grabbed the key, back to the cache signed the log then back to drop the key off. A nice hide hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
We were heading to Melbourne and decided to stop here to find this nifty letterbox. Much to my surprise, I recognised the clue almost immediately. Apparently all those puzzles I've been solving have actually taught me something! Finding the useful object was a little harder to locate since we suspect some changes to the environment have happened due to the weather in Victoria lately. Eventually we located it and managed to get access to the logbook here.A favorite point from us because we enjoyed this letterbox quite a lot. Thanks for find #6460TNLN
Had trouble finding the key, but eventually got the box open#294 for us.
I really enjoyed this one, dad came up to say hi so it was nice to nut it out with him TFTC
I loved this one. Hiding in plan sight. It took me a bit to catch on to how to start it, but the answer is right in front of me.Thanks look forward to more like this.
I had intended to write individual logs for my finds today and had millions of great ideas running through my head as I drove between caches starting in Bonnie Doon and ending in Wonthaggi. I'm now in Box Hill, utterly exhausted and on the whole I have forgotten which cache is which. Where possible I will note something pertinent to the current cache but I do know this. If I had tried to plan my route through beautiful scenery I doubt that I could have done a better job than what I ended up with. Rolling green hills, tall stately trees in forested areas, brilliant blue skies, masses of black cattle wandering along the bright green paddocks , little white lambs and sheep , alpacas and then all this gave way to acres and acres of vines. Oh so much more attractive than the km after km of solar panels that I passed yesterday.Oh boy. This was a tuffy but I desperately needed it for one of my personal challenges. It took me ages to find the required at the given coordinates in fact I found GZ first. No worries I got there in the end and hopefully remembered to sign the log in my haste to get going again TFTC Poiter.h TN Left 2 trackables

Found it already broken open did continue to find the clue to do it properly was going to drop off 2 trackables but didnt feel safe leaving them there ill grab the other trackables while im here to keep them safe until this is back up online
Thanks for the Cache Pointer.h,Stopped for a cuppa at Macca's to help with the fatigue of driving home. Saw a nearby cache with lots of favourites , thought I would see what all the fuss was about ...... Favourite from me.....say no more!...Picked up Waldi on tour to see the Yarra Valley.Regards from Victourer
On a Gippsland road trip and this was a well timed spot for a rest break. With more time, the heritage buildings looked like they might be a nice to explore.Loved the sneaky twist to access the cache and was able to find the key to it, between oblivious electric car charging people addicted to their phones. Thanks for the start of a great weekend.
A favourite for this cheeky cache. Loved the way it was set up so geocachers could access it but muggles would ignore or be foiled in an attempt to access it TFTC Poiter.h
A very clever cache well constructed and I enjoyed the field puzzle. I didn't realise that this cache had one until Grub62 read the description. A few muggles came and went without affecting us much and the toilet stop was handy too. TFTC.
bunadoorian and I stopped here for a toilet stop after finding the Well Travelled Cacher Challenge cache we came down to sign. A letterbox cache here was a bonus. bunadoorian worked out where the required item was to open the cache and we retrieved it and opened the cache. TFTC and the enjoyment of finding a cache in plain sight - Poiter.h
It had started getting dark I dont think we expected this to be such a long day, but alas it was time for us to cover some distance. We woke up in Eden and went to sleep in Warragul, covering over 500 kilometers and visiting 19 stashes. We also fulfilled our dream of seeing some wild koalas, and had a blast while seeing another part of the country! After leaving Eden we continued along the windy Princess highway and made a few hour stop at Raymond Island, where we spent time with the koalas and got to see them real up close. After a while it was time to head further west and see how far we could make it. We continued on the highway and it was time to start looking for our lodging; and Laura was on it. But as a short distraction, Laura also managed to find and navigate us to this nice stash, as we decided we should drop some of our TBs. We just left two at a nearby airport, and this stash seemed like a good place to leave another one. Laura therefor navigated us to this letterbox, and we parked on the lot. There we figured out quickly where to look for the stage, and found the **rusty little key**, though it worked well enough for us. Soon after, we got the large container opened and after seeing the interior decided to drop one of the TBs we brought from Europe as well as one of our own, activated for this trip. We snapped many photos and documented this nice stash, and at 6:42 pm inked our nick into the logbook, making this our 7169th overall find. Thank you again Poiter.h, for placing and maintaining your The Old Gippy TB Hotel stash; we were glad to visit it and spice up our Tuesday while down under in ????Australia for our spring break, visiting from slightly-distant ????Myanmar! We snapped a photo and returned the stash as we found it, and appreciate the opportunity for a find and visiting another new location. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. For my own personal statistics; this is the ninetieth of 112 geocaches we visited down under while on spring break, excluding the 56 adventure lab caches we visited and 28 Waymarks visited.
Usual teamwork from Tom and Snail here. Tom made the solve on where we needed to go, and Snail found what we needed to get inside the hotel. Dropped off a little kiwi penguin trackable that we had picked up from the Canberra mega last weekend. Thanks for the cache!
On our way to the Canberra Mega via Gippsland with Wombatwandering. Nice little field puzzle, gets a FP from me.
On my way to the Canberra Mega with ConnieandRick via a few special caches. Stopped here because I love a TB hotel. So glad we did. Loved the idea. We worked out what to do and had the cache open after a short search. Did a TB swap and returned everything to how it was and we were in our way. Thanks and FP.
Greetings from Seattle! I'm down under for the first time with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide. While here, we're naturally trying to pack in as much "bonus" adventure as possible, including (but not limited to) the following: Log our find finds in the southern hemisphere Find Lane Cove, Australia's Oldest Experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney Drive the Great Ocean Road Visit the Lord of the Rings filming locations in New Zealand Tackle a challenge cache requiring 31 Earthcaches, and 31 Virtuals in 31 days (GC32TBZ and GC32TC2) We're currently caching our way to Melbourne where we'll stay for the night. This is our first letterbox find in Australia and we left one of our "snail mail starter kits" to commemorate the occasion. Thanks for keeping this in play and contributing to our wonderful trip to Oz!
Greetings from Seattle! I am lucky enough to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide with my fellow Lackey and best geo-buddy giacaches, and we hit the road to take the scenic route to get there. It's always great to be able to find a Letterbox Hybrid in a new place, and with this one being a TB hotel, we definitely had to stop by. Cheers to your Virtual Reward, and thanks so much for adding to the trip!
Took a bit of thinking but glad to find this cache. Left one , Nothing taken. Tftc
Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful coast of Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans.Mntti1 and I started our travels few weeks ago. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, we began making our way south from Sydney. After spending night in the area we stopped here too. We spotted the cache from distance and luckily figuring out the first part of cipher was enough to find what we needed. Thanks for the cache!
Wow! What a clever cache! Fortunately today when we arrived at GZ the car park was pretty much empty so I was able to check out the cache without interruption .. hmm I needed to workout how to gain access.. of course I had ignored the obvious then Doh! It clicked. All good.. no ants today. Thanks Poiter.h for the creative cache, a favourite point given
Found by Mary and David at 12:00. Just amazing and in full view too. Another FP. So many trackables here that M wanted to take them all, but desisted. Outer container was full of ants and their eggs, so D sprayed them all. Should work for a while, but it really needs a good clean. Dropped off " Cachekinz" TB and retrieved "Lola the Teenager" TB, "Scappy Doo and Zombie Clause" TB, and "Jesss first mothers day travel bug". Our thanks to Poiter.h.
Called in here on a ride back from town and found this well designed cache. Love your work Pete
Worked out the 'decipher', found the 'something useful', and added our name to the log.
Sighted 3 trackables, and left 9 trackables to continue their journey.
Another favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Poiter.h, and for us and others to find.

32,006. Found with minniek during our Great Victorian County Hunt this long weekend. Our aim is to finish off Victoria - minniek needing 14 and myself 7.
We left Canberra after work on Friday and stayed overnight at a familiar free camp at Oxley Reserve. By lunchtime we hit Melbourne proper then headed east and next on the list was 'Latrobe'. This was a handy LBH cache to use to tick off the county, with a fun GZ. Quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next cache on our list.
Thanks Poiter.h !! Fav Point !

Headed away this long weekend with fitzy_1965 for the Great Victorian County hunt. Our mission is to finish off Victoria.
We drove to Oxley Reserve and stayed there Friday night so that we could get an early start. LOL How we managed to sleep in, I do not know but off we set to end up in Sale for the night.
Today we managed to tick off 7 of the 14 counties I needed.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. And thanks to all the COs who continue to help us reach our goals.
A neat set up here. It was getting too late in the day for me to twig onto the clue. Glad fitzy was more switched on otherwise I’d probably still be sitting there.

An unscheduled stop on our way home from Canberra to check out this high favourite, large size cache. We found the cache easily enough, but needed to use some stealth to require the tool.
Plan worked and log signed, then it was back to stealth mode as I appeared to be absolutely fascinated by the old chimney close by while returning the tool.
Thanks so much for placing this cache Poiter.h.

Over from Western Australia at the Rutherglen Mega. Picking up some smilies on the way back to Melbourne. Thanks to the CO and the treasure hunt. FP from me. TFTC
On a trip from WA with Burns345, we travelled through Rutherglen, Mt Hotham, Bairnsdale, Sale and then heading to Melbourne.
LOVED this one and I wish I could give you more FPs! Signed and left as found!

TFTC - Travelling from East Gippsland to Melbourne and needed a letterbox for a challenge. Picked up a trackable to take with me to the Rutherglen Mega.
The hotel currently has few vacancies as a nest of ants has moved in and unfortunately I didn't have any spray etc to evict such non paying tenants.
The Hotel is currently empty of coins and trackables and I will endeavour to bring some back from the Rutherglen Mega.

Today I set out to track down something AND not go geocaching. Well that didn’t take happen so while I came home empty handed, I did get to find some geocaches.
This is one of them. Certainly deserving of all favourite points. Love the hide, contents, set up. Very methodical. Tftc Poiter.h. Another excellent cache.
Ps. How do you know you are on holidays? You don’t know what day it is. I got home to type up logs and realised I had written the wrong date all day.

Field log to drop TB. Full log in coming days, but suffice to say very happy to avenge my DNF from a few years back.
Driving home from a lovely little 5-day holiday in Melbourne and we stopped in here to stretch our legs. We pull up in a parking space, and while everyone else makes their way to the bathroom or the cafe, I pull up the go page on a whim. Lo and behold, we have parked directly in front of the cache. After a quick back-and-forth dash and some muggle-deception strategies (“just where has that bracelet got to now?”) the log was signed and replaced with a satisfying click. Awesome cache, felt like a true treasure hunt. Thanks for working to maintain it and support my lucky caching whims! TFTC
Always love to find a nice large geocache. No TBs checked into the hotel tonight TFTC
Visiting from Tasmania, and on my way to Lake Entrance I made a quick stop here. It happened to be a big dog event day here. Determined to find the cache I decided to still look for it. Initially I started in the wrong spot, but quickly noticed my mistake. It’s kinda funny how in a crowd it’s actually easier to sign a logbook without being noticed. Really nice cache! Thanks for adding the extra adventure to my day!
Day 9 of our tour of Victoria, SA and NSW. Grabbing a few caches along the way. 3 from 3 today!

This cache is one of my absolute favourites. As we pulled up to gz my Geocaching partner The Blind Side said, "There it is." I couldn't believe it. "How can that be it?" "That's definitely it." I wasn't sure he was right but of course there was more to it than just locating the cache. The Blind Side put some figures into his phone and we were soon heading off on a short walk to find some sort of tool that would assist us in actually confirming this was indeed the cache. After searching thru lots of cut down branches I made the discovery and we returned to gz. Sure enough The Blind Side was on the money and the cache was successfully opened. I was blown away but very happy with the find. The Blind Side took a couple of trackables to move to the Goulburn Valley area. A favourite point from me TFTC.
Heading home to Shepparton today and the plan is to geocache my way home even though it's cold and it looks like it will be raining all day. After reading the previous DNF log I was a bit concerned but thankfully the tool was located and access to the cache was gained. It was spitting rain here but thankfully it was a quick find and a dash back to the car to open the cache and sign the log then replace TFTC
Found the location of the tool, but a lot of pruning has taken place. No sign of the tool today.
Stopped to charge the EV and wondered if there was a cache nearby that I could find in 20 minutes.. yes there is and it's only 50m away...
Then after deciding the information realised I was actually right where I needed to be in the first place. Thanks for a great little time filler and a smiley while pumping the elections into the geomobile...

I recall when I was last here in 2018 there was a missing part of this puzzle, so was happy to find it complete this time. A quick calculation and walk and I was able to sign the logbook. I took 3x TBs to go back to NSW with me. A great cache deserving of its 64x FPs - so here's another from me. TFTC!
My first letter box ..Woo hoo I liked this one for many reasons. If your from out of town I would highly recommend visiting Old Gippstown. This took a little longer than expected waiting out the Muggles it's a very popular meeting spot. Will move on some of the bugs.. unfortunately I did not bring the ant rid and therefore I have left the ants behind. Loved the stamp.
A big drive ahead so stopped for a couple of caches on the way.
Needed some large caches for a challenge, so this was on the target list.
A very well thought out cache here, well done.
Got a bit stuck however eventually found the key.
Thanks!

Find the missing LGAs!
Day 1: Melbourne to Orbost.
Here we are in Latrobe.
What a great letterbox! The only problem was that while I was using the tool, some muggles parked themselves near its resting place and stayed for quite a while (you’ll understand when you do it). I wore them down in the end.
I dropped a TB that I picked up earlier in the day, one of those St Arnaud cow tags. I later realised I had not documented the code, so it hasn’t been logged, sorry. I have grabbed two others to take back to SA.
Nice work Poiter_h, thanks.

Unfortunately this was a DNF for us today. Found the cache easily but finding the special tool proved to be way harder. Even had the assistant from the heritage park assisting us but in the end we needed to move on
Had to wait for some muggles to leave so we could get the information and then it took a little while to find and retrieve the key but we got there . All replaced as found. Thanks for the cache
I have come down from Melbourne today to check out the Holden museum and Old Gippstown, took a bit to find the key but got it in the end and opened this great TB hotel, there were 14 travel bugs stashed away in there. I took 3 back with me but took a photo of all the codes to discover them. A fav point from me and a new spot to drop of TB if I have any. TFTC
It’s New Years Eve and Day 6 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip. It’s time to finish up in eastern Victoria with a mixture of cache types in Moe and Trafalgar.
We had this cache on our list and as we pulled up in the carpark we spotted the cache straight away. But we needed to get in so we set off to find what we needed. A group of muggles were sitting on a picnic rug in the shade of the tree right where we needed to search. So I excused myself and they assumed we were on a scavenger hunt. They were so excited for us, one of them put down their lunch and started searching with us. OzHockeyChick finally came up with the goods and we soon had the cache open. The hotel was full today and was worthy of a favourite!
Thanks Poiter.h for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

The work year has finished, so it’s time to head off on another road trip - to explore ‘The Pointy End’.
DAY SIX: Moondarra to Beaufort.
This was a must-do on our list. We arrived and parked right at the cache. Knew exactly what we needed to do. Headed over to where we would find a certain tool, only to find muggles sitting right there, having a picnic in the shade.
We had no choice but to explain. They knew about the game and even jumped in to help us search. They were so excited when I spotted what we needed.
Headed back to open the cache to find loads of TBs all waiting to be discovered, so that is what we did.
A fav point for a very memorable LB cache.
Cheers!

Vinz continues his search for his beloved Zuul and today his search has brought him to Mo town!
He feels that perhaps the travellers here can help with his search, so once obtaining the required information he tracked away in search of, of all things, a key.
Even being the Keymaster, the holder of the keys, the search for this key proved to be quite an adventure. Finally with help of another seekers younger eyes and a few hints from others the key was discovered.
Access to the treasury proved fruitful with many travellers getting some sunlight for the first time in awhile, but alas no word of Zuul.
Id's checked, key returned, i left my Mark and moved along...

I arrived at the letterbox location to see a muggle mowing the lawns at Old Gippstown, I sat patiently in my vehicle until he was out of eyesight, I followed my GPS and geosenses to where I thought the key to the cache might be but came up empty handed so headed back to my vehicle and that's when I spotted someone heading towards the direction I had just came from given the beautiful blue sky day and the Latrobe had just came out of a 7 day lockdown I had a feeling this gentleman was a fellow geocacher so I shouted out "are you looking for the geocache key" & from that moment I knew I had made a new friend, we put our heads together & messaged a few fellow geocachers who had found this one previously once we had their expertise we soon found the key & were able to open the cache. Dropped some TB's off that I had been hanging onto for too long due to covid restrictions TFTC
We were on our way home from Mt Baw Baw today and decided to grab and few caches after dinner in Moe. We solved the first part of the challenge quickly enough but the second part took much longer, not aided by being the in dark. The charging station is interesting too - we’ve never seen one before. Anyway, we soon found the excellent letterbox and signed the log. Seeing as we can’t travel far these days we left all the TB’s. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC, worthy of a favourite point ️
Apologies for the late log. Found over a year ago with SirJ-Oz on a trip to Gippsland for the Rockwiz series, Robot Charli and a few assorted others. A busy day with 39 finds and several DNFs thrown in too. Thanks for the letterbox cache Poiter.h which was on a target list for SirJ-Oz. A neat set up and we worked through what was needed to add our names to the log. Then time for dinner and back on the road to Melbourne.
Find #4927. Found @ 17:49 with Annoying Tarbit
After many virtual puzzle solving evenings over lockdown Annoying Tarbit and I have solved lots of puzzles in and around the Moe area, so an outing was planned for today to collect on some of the geo-art puzzles, and some others along the way.
After spending the day looking for Rockwiz and Robot Charli caches, we decided to get some dinner, but found the place didn't start serving food until 6pm. So what to do? Easy, find another cache.
I had a trackable with me that I've been carrying for a while (due to not being able to get out caching) so figured this would be a good place to continue its journey. After parking near the coordinates, we made short work of deciphering what to do next... but long work of the next bit. AT eventually spotted something and soon were placing the trackable that I had into the container, and collecting codes from all the other ones inside.
Took nothing, left trackable, signed log and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache Poiter.h

Stopped here together with TamikaN97. Glad to have found it this time. Great spot for a hotel.
Great TB hotel. Little sad there were no coins to add to my collection. Finally got back here from not finding it a long while ago when they were doing works on the new charging stations.
Tftc good one to start the day with

Out caching today before an event for my other hobby today out in Morwell. So decided to get up early and smash out some caches on the way up before the rain comes in in the afternoon. Got a handful done all in all with not DNF's, even got a new LGA and won the tournament in Morwell....win win I think, thanks for the cache.

Headed down to Warragul for the day while holidaying at Sale and stopped by this one on the way home. Arrived at the posted co-ords and after a bit of a look around worked out what was required. After another couple of minutes the container was open and I was signing the logbook. Noticed a car was parked right behind us and after locking the container I turned around to be met by the CO. Turns out he had been watching for a few minutes.....and encouraged me to take a couple of the TB's to help move them on. Had a chat about caching for a few minutes before it was time to move.
Thanks for the fun cache Poiter.h......very well put together and something different. Also, its been a while since I was sprung at a cache, and of course it's always good to meet another cacher while out and about. Fav point for this one.

Yep, great cache. I think only my second letterbox as one or two of the others I didn’t quite understand how to find.
One day we will return to go inside Old Gippsland but not today. Just Walhalla and KFC for dinner to satisfy the kids
Thanks!!

Found again, dropped off some TBS and swapped over. Cache in good.condition, but was unlocked. Be careful of muggles.
A quick stop at Moe placed us close this cache. I love a cache like this, bold in the middle of suburbia.
We enjoy letterbox caches, and this one is a Trackable Hotel into the bargain. We pulled into the parking lot and realised that it is a fuel station for electric cars. None pulled in while we were there, and so we were free of muggles while we did our calculations and visited the Hotel. Our Trackalbles ad their second sort stay in two days; apparently, the other trackables are talking in used tones, wondering why they are only popping in and out. Thank you, Poiter.h, for its Trackable Hotel and cache.
This is a bewdy! And what's a detour?! Taking the long way scenic route home from Melbs via Dargo just so I can pick up a few Gippy caches along the way including some Robot Charlies. Just a tad late log as its sat in that not frequently visited drafts folder. TFTC and the FUN!
Amazing cache! Definitely a favourite point for us! Pick up a couple of trackable a to move on to a Melbourne!
No wonder this cache has so many favourite points! I’ll add another one. This car was particularly well organised and easy to locate and find the key for any one playing our great game. There was a good supply of TBs. I left three and took three. Unfortunately the cache had been adopted by some particularly bitey ants which swarmed everywhere when I opened it. I suppose they’ll move on when the sun gets hotter. I was so glad we were able to take advantage of the COVID-19 restrictions being relaxed for Regional and Rural residents!
I finally got to cross this one off my list today! Left a couple of bugs for when the world eventually opens up again TFTC
I headed off early today for a drive and marked a few caches on my route that looked interesting of which this was one.
Nice cache!!! Fav. Taking 2 TBs
Thanks to Poiter.h for the placement and fun.

Wow!! What an experience and definitely worth a favourite point from us! Just took one trackable. First letterbox cache or any different type than traditional!! TFTC
