Girls are Awesome, I have 2 daughters...but the puddles today are awesome too after the heavy rain, TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids
I have 3 main objective for this weekends caching run, first is to complete the final location for Adventure Lab Bollards Bonanza North in Whittlesea then secondly on to Ned Kelly County to get the final for Neds Last and Final Stand multi which has been on the to do list for ages but sadly when I arrived at the gate to start my walk I discovered they where doing planned burns and there was No Public access so I abandoned that and came to Wangaratta to finish off all the Adventure Labs and a few caches and then thirdly across to Corowa to get my Centriod cache so I can log the physical cache in Williamstown. After that I will be just free wheeling my way back home to Gippsland. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to everyone who placed there caches.
Out and about enjoying the sights and sunshine with Bounty Trackers. We enjoyed this good sized cache on some very quiet roads. Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for another enjoyable cache.
Out and about today exploring the area with Grannan55 and Geodogs. The last time we were here there was water over the track, so we decided to come back another day, which is today. What a beautiful place. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
So ive left the ol peninsula to escape the footy crowds and what better way to relax than going after some caches in my new rexy toy!! This cache was a hoot, i went to the nearby wet lands to get some awesome photos, but i should have just come here!! Glad i had my work gumboots and youre correct GIRLS ARE AWESOME!hope you like my joke!! :3
In the area with AnyMules, brisal5 and 6Hinemoa2 signing all logs as BAB6 to save space in the log books or their personal stamp. This may be the ageing Bushfires last Mega as the effects of advancing MND continues to advance but as I said that after the Whittlesea Mega, we will see.
I must thank my three mates and lots of other folk for all the help that I have received over the last year or so for which I will always be very grateful. This cache was found on our travels around this great area while attending the Mega Event in Rutherglen early April 2023.
On arrival all we could see was a sheet of water so not knowing the depth we chose to walk to the cache ,well Karena did, so on with the gum boots and off she went but then as she waded throught the ever increasing depth until the water lapped over the top of her boots but she kept on going, signed the log and returned, Girls are awesome and this proved it so I am now claiming a find that at first I thought no way were we going down this road.
You never know what life has in store for you so you must expect the unexpected.
Thanks to Richie3Layla3Emma for placing this cache.

Our group consisting of bushfire, Brisal5, Anymules and me tackled this one while at the Mega. We signed in as BAB6 to save space in the log books.
Had all the mega puzzles presolved for the trip and were happy to have completed this random one.
Heaps of water here that had to be overcome.
Thanks for the fun here today Richie3Layla3Emma

Rutherglen Mega Trip. [^] Day 7 - What a day. Many caches, stop for yummy BBQ lunch then back to caching finishing many, many series. Caching right through to the Farewell event.
Our crew for the week is:
Bushfire
Anymules
Brisal5
6Hinemoa2
BAB6 for short and to save space in logs.
Most logs will be generic or there might be some more under here. Thanks CO's for the caches that made this such a great week for us.
They certainly are [^] We cam to a bend and were confronted with a 150 meter lake between us and the cache. The grassed area seemed okay but the road area was rutted and disappeared into a unknown depth. Slip in there and you won't be getting out! So - The girl member of our group donned gum boots and waded to the cache to make a find. Girls are Awesome.
**SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024.**
***Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

*The Rutherglen Mega Saturday Adventure #4*
It rained last night... did you notice? All the poor sods in tents at the Mega certainly did. And I certainly did when SueHut and I turned up to this cache. But I could hardly dis Layla and Emma by skipping it, could I? A long splash to GZ, but someone had to do it!
Thanks heaps, Richie & Layla & Emma!

Turned up this morning to find huge puddles on the way to the cache. Well, I’m not walking through that! But hubby, Wespro was keen. So off came the shoes and socks and, with trades in hand, he waded in. What a legend.
Found It!
Had to get the waders out for this one since there's currently a lake to cross to get to the cache. After a 100m walk through the water I got to GZ and quickly found the cache!

Found after arriving in Rutherglen for the big event this weekend. Easy find and the cache was dry and in good shape. As previously reported the last 100 or so meters of the road was under water I made into the GZ in my $WD. Thanks for the cache.
It’s a little wet to get to this catche due to the rainfalls.
Found it and is a little cute well played!

The last 150 meters was on foot due to the little road being completely underwater. The Young ladies have done a fantastic job of placing this cache and was a very enjoyable find.
We left a really funny joke in the log book and read many funnier ones. Thank you ladies for the awesome cache, well done.

A nice quick and easy find in the backwaters of Corowa.
It’s wet enough to call it the backwaters!
We walked in from the corner.

Great cache girls! Hope you enjoy our joke. Might need a zip lock bag for your book as it was a little damp.
Well what a delightful day emerged from last night which had a little rain.
We decided to head to the Corowa and Wahgunyah area and find some caches along the way.
There was a little evidence of the overnight rain but most roads and tracks were generally dry and the sunshine appeared and in the end we had around 23 degrees with a gentle mild breeze.
We found a very interesting mixture of caches today and really enjoyed the various locations and hide.
Thanks to Richie3Layla3Emma for this placement.
What a quiet spot out here and we enjoyed the journey.
We took a couple of TBs to move on.

Out and about grabbing a few caches in the area with a car load of cachers cleaning up a few smilies out this side of town and this was one we came across. Managed to quickly locate this good sized hide and added our names to the logbook, thanks Richie3Layla3Emma for the hide and for bringing us out this way, certainly a interesting drive out the back of the solar farm too.

With the long weekend in Vic it meant more caching time so plans were mate with Omegaman1971 to head to North East Victoria, most of our effort was spent in Wangaratta with a trip to Beetchworth, out to Gtreta to do the NKH series and a small trip up to Cowra NSW, We had a great time finding caches, learning history, exploring the area and catching up with mates.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels.

Getting on in the day when I decided to get my fresh air quota And grateful there are caches on nearby country roads that I can grab without being disturbed. Even so, have doubled up my hand sanitising routine and hand moisturiser. You can explore without crowding and there’s still plenty to see out there
Girls are awesome but so are boys Easy find here. Thx for placing this cache for me to find on my occasional soirées outdoors.

Doctor doctor my sister here thinks she’s invisible!?
Doctor: What sister?
Joke by Geo son.
Girls are awesome - Geo son thinks that is a joke!
Its been ages since I was able to cache in my home town, being home for the School holidays I noticed some new caches had been placed around. I was excited to see that the CO had also put some effort into the caches and they were not just a sistema at the base of a tree, this one had us looking for longer than it should have.
TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids much appreciated. Found in the company of GeoGranni

Wanted one more on the way home - many of the others in the vicinity have too many DNFs to be park and grabs which is what I needed. Drive up this quiet road and quickly had the log signed and on my way home

Murray River December 2018. I headed away with Fitzy_1965 for a weekend caching towards the Murray River near Corowa. We targeted a few series and as many DNFs from previous trips as possible. We did of course generate even more this time, but overall had a great time despite a sharp thunderstorm on Sunday morning.
Thanks.

17,194. Found during a caching weekend run down to the Murray River in the Corowa region with albida33.
After camping on the Murray last night we woke up to a huge thunderclap overhead and we then packed up in extreme record time as a red rain cell was about to hit us ! Just made it as a big dump of water hit the site. Oh well at least we made an early start to the days caching ! This was the next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Richie3Layla3Emma !! Awesome cache - Favourite Point !

We did appreciate finding such a nice large cache and it was well stocked with goodies for Geokids to enjoy. We thought it was a great idea for each gacher to write a joke and we did like them. Hope you like ours too!!

#2701 Girls might be awesome, but sunshine with a hint of warmth in the air after a cold Winter is equally awesome! We were loving our afternoon out caching locating some great hides in the process. A nice quick find here of a beautifully presented container. Wouldn't expect many muggles out in these parts . Left a TB and a terrible joke . TFTC Awesome Girls & co.

The weather was looking a bit iffy, so we dropped one car off for a service, and headed to Corowa for a few quick caches, and to brush up on our European languages.
We were very glad to see where GZ was, as another 100 meters along the road was a very big lake!
A quick find, but we had to disregard several jokes before we found one suitable for the logbook.
Thanks for this great sized cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12444. It seems winter isn't over yet. With an icy blast and rain continuing Robmc and I decided to head back Corowa way to find some more of the recently published caches. We were fortunate to beat the rain and managed to collect another 19 smilies today.
This certainly is a nice big container. I left a couple of packets of small envelopes and dropped in a skull TB to replace the rather large TB that I took out. We wrote out a joke, did a U-turn and headed back towards town.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids
