Gone again. Thank you to everyone who had a crack at this one

With some morning rain we didn't think we would get out for some treasures today but with a glimpse or blue sky, I checked if DAB was good for a few caches and it didn't take long before we were in the car with the little Na'wals and off up the highway. We parked the geo wheels and just wondered where to look. A quick read had us in place but this one took ages. And so many cars? What's down here to bring people, not sure. We got wet feet looking for this one and also a cut finger. We searched and searched some more and I didn't think we would find it until DAB called out, got it! Not an easy one at all that both of us thought the D rating could be a bit higher. Now off for some lunch at the bakery.

**Thanks to JelenaGreenleaf for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy**

Seeing as the sun was shining this morning, we thought we would make the most of it. A hastily put together plan and I was soon in the company of Na'wal and the junior na'wals !! We have had our eye on a few caches up Point Cook way for a while, so we hit the road. In no time we had arrived in this busy little suburb.
This was our last cache for today, as the weather was starting to turn nasty. We had no sooner exited the car, when the rain started to fall. This one was very tricky and it was only by pure luck that I stumbled upon it. A clever little hide indeed. TFTC JelenaGreenleaf Big Grin

Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache as the tide was in, but had fun anyway. Will definitely have to try again another time. Thanks for bringing us to see the beach even though we couldn't reach the cache

Thanks. Nice hide. Had to consult Google:p

No luck but lots of rubbish moving on

This one almost had us “fooled” on this lovely April day! We looked for almost 10 minutes stopping for muggles and pretending we were looking for shells, when we finally found it. Nice camouflage. TFTC

Finally went to grab this one, pretty and cool container! Thanks for the beautiful cache, looking forward to the next one!

This was a tough one for us. Took the whole family a long time searching but nice place to be and a great hide! Eventually found it using the hint.
Recommend the waypoint for the hidden steps for beach access if you don't fancy sliding down on your butt!! TFTC!

15:20, 10 February 2018. Time to quit Sad.

Having another date to bump off my caching calendar, I thought this one would be a good candidate to hunt for today, with another further down the highway as an alternate. After cogitating on the benefits of the old EsE2C calendar for tide charts that you don't have to turn your computer on for, I found myself here a bit over two hours after low tide, so a nice clear field to search. No muggles either, but a bit of a pong and, as I was leaving, a lot of wind. At least the search ground was sheltered from the wind, if not the pong and as mentioned in an earlier log, it's a beautiful view across the bay from here.

It looked like a lot of others had, rather than head to the beach access point, slithered down the bank close to GZ to get to the beach. I followed suit, though I was not really dressed for that sort of thing. I spent a fair bit of time hunting, having noted the CO's comment about placement of the new cache I biased my initial search a little bit south of where the iPhone and gypsy indicated. I saw lots of possible hiding spots and lots of likely candidates, but the cache didn't reveal itself today. Judging by the track worn down the slope so close to GZ and the lack of recorded finds since replacement of the cache I thought it might not be here, but no cacher would not record their DNF would they Wink.

So, after deciding it was time to give up, having searched for way too long (partly because I'd realised there's no on-ramp from Duncans Road to Geelong, so I would have to trawl through Werribee to get to the freeway) I resigned myself to the drive down the freeway and headed off. I think I'm going to wait until someone records another find before I hunt for this one again.

Thanks for the hunt JelenaGreenleaf.

Replacement cache is ready to be found a bit to the left of the original hide. GPS co-ordinates come up as the same as the last hide. Please be gentle with the area for your own safety

Making replacement cache now, will be ready to go this week.

The area seems to have copped a storm recently. Hoping to have it back up shortly

If access was from the beach this was impossible today as the tide was very high. Nice little area though

Found: Found as the last few geocaches for us in Australia in 2017 before we headed to the USA for 6 weeks of road tripping. Thanks for this geocache here today.

Doesn't the water come up this high? There were a few people around, getting relief from the heat. A favourite point from me for the risky hide. Thanks for the cache JelenaGreenleaf!

Second find for the day as the kids and wife were at the cinema. I have been waiting to grab the 2 caches down here for a while now and today I had the chance. I had to use the clue for this one a Google it as well, as soon as I understood it I found the cache. A nice little design. TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1455. Continuing our streak at Day 496. This cache was published while we were away in WA. Back home now, and it is quite close to maccamob HQ, The tides were favourable this afternoon so, after a spot of maintenance for one of our own caches, came over to Cambell's Cove for a look. Found the stairs ok and began searching. Found the well-camouflaged cache after a few minutes. Nicely done, and a FP. Our thanks to JelenaGreenleaf.

I am glad of two things today:
1 - I checked tide times before I began
2 - I did this during daylight
Those entry stairs are cool (I did ignore the no pedestrian access sign haha), but glad to have managed them not in the dark. Headed along the beach and searched quite a while. There are lots of good hiding spots. in fact I looked at the hide itself and mused how that doesn't quite belong, but still I kept looking. haha
Eventually realized where it was - nicely done. TNLNSL. TFTC Smile

Suscoe headed out today for a trip towards Melbourne.
We made our way up to Melton on a sunny morning with a clear sky and a strong southerly blowing.
The drizzle appeared later in the afternoon but it didn't cause too much discomfort.
Thanks to JelenaGreenleaf for this hide, we took the hidden way in with an almost high tide we had just enough dry sand to play with.
A very quiet location this afternoon.
A relatively quick find for us too which was good.
All good at GZ too.
A favourite from us.

An excellent hide. The smell of the beach reminded me of growing up in Rockingham.
Thanks for the cache JelenaGreenleaf

Caching with n0w0rries and our Geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
We had to leave them in the car because Eve has a psychotic obsession with water.
She must pick up all of the rocks and carry them to shore before returning and doing it all over again.
It is a bit too cold for this game today and fortunately for us, the tide was rising but there was still ample beach to walk on.
Cache found after a short search, neatly hidden away from sight. Smile
Cute camo. [^]
Found a Duplo girl figurine in the sand, left it nearby Wink for someone else to take.
Thank you for placing this cache JelenaGreenleaf.

Joint [FTF] with the Simsfamily
While listening to the rain on the roof I noticed a newly published cache was still unfound or hadn't been logged yet. Gave the Simsfamily a call who were keen, so we set off up the freeway when Simsfamily said you there's wading involved and it's near high tide, argh well it hasn't stopped us before. Arrived near GZ to the sound of crashing waves, we'll give it a go. Put on the water shoes to and ventured down the very secret stairs for a causal stroll along the beach. Once at GZ after quick search the treasure was found and a surprising clean log. No mermaids to be seen tonight, just silly cachers out in the cold.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Congratulations on your first hide JelenaGreenleaf

SmileSmileSmile Joint [FTF] with Ausfox; SmileSmileSmile

I saw this one get published the other night and considered running out for it but decided against it. Today even though I was on annual leave I still wasn't able to make the journey as I had other things that I needed to do. Fully expecting it to be already gone I didn't think much more about it.
When Ausfox; txt'ed me saying it was still in play and he offered to pick me up on the way through it was an offer too good to refuse.
In the car I asked if he had looked at the tides his response was if we get wet so be it. [:o].
Once at the trail head it obvious the wet feet was unavoidable. I promise you the water is cold at this time of year at night, so if you want to avoid it check the tides before you try it.
Thank you JelenaGreenleaf and congrats on your first hide a favourite point from me
