TFTC quick grab, out with the geograndkids after going to the Corowa tractor day
Murray River December 2018. I headed away with Fitzy_1965 for a weekend caching towards the Murray River near Corowa. We targeted a few series and as many DNFs from previous trips as possible. We did of course generate even more this time, but overall had a great time despite a sharp thunderstorm on Sunday morning. Things were a bit wet in the early morning, but we found the caches anyway.
Thanks.

17,180. Found during a caching weekend run down to the Murray River in the Corowa region with albida33.
After camping on the Murray last night we woke up to a huge thunderclap overhead and we then packed up in extreme record time as a red rain cell was about to hit us ! Just made it as a big dump of water hit the site. Oh well at least we made an early start to the days caching ! This was the next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids !!

Heading home with Roostaman, after attending the Melbourne mega.
Being a nice sunny day, we picked up a few caches along the way.
Cache located, log signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Richie3Blue3Geokids, for us and others to find.

**# 23390** Found on a drive back north from Parkville with The Drovers.
Another fine Spring day and perfect caching weather.
Many good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
Thanks for the cache Richie3Blue3Geokids,

Had looked this once before but I think it was only a cursory glance. A bit more experience and the hide was quickly found - log signed and returned (no one in the shelter but plenty of traffic). TFTC
A quick park and grab in Corowa. I have been meaning to get this one for a while and now I have.
This was a good hide. I found it but didn’t think it was it so I kept looking but turns out it was it!
Its time to stop for a coffee at the local Maccas before heading home. We went past this one first and decided another quick find wouldn't hurt . It was reasonably quiet at this time of the afternoon so could quickly grab the cache and get the log signed.

After the string of one line cache finder's logs on this one,
it's time for a meaningful cache log
I stopped here on Honour Avenue this morning.
Enjoying a random tour of Corowa - Waygunyah
So to pay me respects I made sure I found this cache
Thanks for the cache,
and pointing out the significance of this site
This road is named Spring Road on one of me maps,
so I guess the name was changed fairly recently.

Parked nearby and walked to gz. Had to make out that we were waiting for some transportation. Soon found it.
Wow I seen this thing about 2 seconds into looking time but when it didn't budge I moved on shortly after I read a comment saying you needed a small hand then I went back and shoved it out
YAY this one was great
Thanks for maintaining it
I added a small gel pen and took nothing

Quick find. Not what we were expecting to find at this location. Pleasantly surprised. Tftc.
A quick drive by find with my cousin's soon and his mate who was loving the geocaching experience. Tftc
Last one of the day which we attempted on our way back home to Jindera after a very successful day.
Many thanks for all the placements along the Balldale Rd and in Corowa.
There must be hundreds of hides throughout the country hidden in these types of places. They make good reference points.
I'd like a dollar for everytime I've been along Honour Avenue, as my father had a business very nearby GZ. So I know this location pretty well.
The kids got the "honours" on this one, making a quick find.
SL at 4.15pm. All good with the cache.
Congrats on all your efforts, you have been very busy in the area highlighting places for us to visit. TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids.

This didn’t take us very long to retrieve at all. Lots of traffic whizzing past us, but we were discreet. SL TFTC
Picked this up while waiting to pick up my kids and thankfully there was no-one about waiting for the bus, so a quick enough find was made here.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for placing the cache for us to find.

Glad to find one after a couple of disappointments today and a close encounter with a snake.
Enjoying the sunshine - pity about the traffic and little yappers. But either way I'm having a great day!!
#12454. It seems winter isn't over yet. With an icy blast and rain continuing Robmc and I decided to head back Corowa way to find some more of the recently published caches. We were fortunate to beat the rain and managed to collect another 19 smilies today.
I am certainly not fond of bus-stop caches and didn't hold out much hope here. Surprisingly I soon had part of the container to hand. That is a mighty strong magnet holding the container in place. Added our names and continued into town for lunch.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids

The weather was looking a bit iffy, so we dropped one car off for a service, and headed to Corowa for a few quick caches, and to brush up on our European languages.
We were going to do this cache on the way out of town, but the road workers were shifting a lot of dirt right outside the Bus Stop.
We didn't hold much hope for the return journey, but although all the heavy machinery was there, no workers were (must have gone for lunch!)
So we quickly detoured and grabbed this cache (before the bus arrived!)
Thanks, Robmc.

Not likely to be any school buses today, although it would be a great day to play 'hookey' from school. The weather is just perfect to be out and about on a cache finding adventure. SL at 10.49am after an easy find where we expected it to be. Left: golden eagle PT #4752 TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids
