Found while out pack training for a walk in WA in October. Log wet and unsignable. Photo attached
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a Christmas 2023 adventure. Found this one on the ground where it obviously isnt supposed to be. Drained the water, signed the log and placed around 2.5m high above where we found it until the CO has an opportunity to visit. Its a great day for caching. TFTC pprass
Out caching with Wollaston and stopped for this cache and were rewarded with a find. The cache was located on the ground so we tied it to a tree with the short bit of wire that was attached to the cache. Toyota handled the terrain well.
That was the hardest cache I’ve been involved in - and when I say involved in …. GinjaBeardNinja went up to get it. Now going home to check for leeches
Well that was obs difficult ! And the natural ladder is all dying off.
Luckily we have a 4wd, the track is definitely NOT sedan drivable, need some clearance on those ruts, but you could walk in the 400 meters but it's a bit muddy at the moment.
Like said in previous posts before, the log is tooootally soaked. Sorry I didn't have new bags or logs to replace

We had a look here a couple of years ago whilst visiting, but couldn't just get up there. I seem to remember thinking I almost could.... We drove down Greggs Road (slowly!), and parked at the intersection with the track heading up to GZ. Greggs Rd is pretty much 4WD only, even this initial part.... Today we had our telescoping TOTT, and retrieved the cache easily. As the kids were going up I spotted something wedged in between the trunks of the adjoining trees - it was the cache's lid....
So yep, the log is pretty damp, but the cache now has its lid back on, it will probably dry out in time.... thanks for a fun climb with the kids....

Found this today while in the area, saw this last time and checked but we didn’t have the ladder, so we came back this trip to nab it, log is quite wet as the lid was sitting in a fork of another tree nearby, replaced lid but log is still quite wet.

Dora the Explorer did the climb this time. It was one of the more challenging climbs. Log book signed. TFTz

Out caching with KWmoo who had previously had a shot at this one but not managed to sign the log, which we rectified today.
A simple park and grab..... it was not! The adrenaline was pumping while I ascended to collect the cache, balanced precariously while signing the log and cautiously descended.
Our recent experiences with tree climbing have not been pleasant so it was nice to take our revenge on tree climbing. I think we will have a break from these types of caches for now.

Out caching with my brother late this afternoon and he suggested this one seeing our family hadn’t succeeded previously. This surprised me greatly, given his wife fell out of a tree while geocaching 3 weeks ago and broke her humerus!! Up he went, like an uncoordinated monkey and we soon had the cache in hand and signed. Back down in one piece, and his wife never has to know Thanks Pprass
Littlest monkey climbed the tree today. Got high enough but sadly couldn’t get the cache container open. Will have to return another day with a ladder so mumma monkey can get that high and hopefully gain entry!
I went with Fitzy_1965 for a long weekend drive up the east coast to Port Macquarie caching along the way and visiting several new towns and villages. A highlight was a get together with Pprass & Kat after a few mega 4wd climbs in the afternoon. Day 3 took us back into the hills west of the coast from Pt Macquarie. One too many, but it was fun. A little caching around the outskirts of Pt Macquarie before finishing the day in the Port caravan park. Very civilised.
This set of caches out to the dam was a fun way of seeing bits of the track in more detail. It was eerie at the base of the dam wall, I am glad I did not have to climb up.
Thanks for the cache pprass

21,995. Found during an epic trip up to Port Macquarie and back with albida33 over a 4 day weekend. Often signed as F65 A33. After heading up to Taree from Goulburn on Friday, we cached up to and reached Port Macquarie yesterday.
Day 3 of our North Coast Adventure, and after slumming it in a Hotel last night (the local Showgrounds and Caravan Parks were not taking anyone who was not self contained. We were even asked if we had bathrooms after I said we were in Swags?????) we were up early for another days caching fun around the Port Macquarie and Wauchope region. We were especially keen to do the Forest Road series today, plus and Challenge Caches which we might be able to get. This was the next find of the day. Quickly spotted the cache, which was soon retrieved. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks pprass !! Fun Cache ! Favourite Point !

Woo hoo. Nice. We needed that combo for our grid. 2 4.5. Quickly found gz, and spotted the offender. Quite a challenge to get it, but we did. My thighs are still stinging. TFTC. 4/7
Woohoo! Got it?
That was nice a challenge. Very good.
Thanks heaps for this cache pprass.

Heading north from Coopernock forest to Ebor today, this cache was on my 'must at least check it out' list. I drove as close as the 2wd Kia could go then walked uphill the last 80-100m with my trusty xmas pressy TOTT.
Hmm ok let's see how we go. With the TOTT fully extended and me hanging onto the branches and trunk as I went, I got high enough. Opened the cache and promptly dropped the lid. Oh, it's gonna be one of those kinda days is it?! I signed the log while there, then popped back down and up again and put everything back how it was. I'll get quite good at this if I keep doing everything twice, lol.
Thanks for the cache, pprass!

Well the TOTT owners were so keen to use their new purchase that I just had to come along as well - we did find some other caches. The new TOTT worked brilliantly and the log was signed. Minor injury ocurred in the packing up of the TOTT but I will recover! Thanks pprass.
Veni, vidi, and this time around, vici! As If stated in his log for 2nd September, ozglory and I decided to go halves in one of those you-beaut fancy ladders. On a caching trip to do a nearby trail I was determined to use our brand, spanking new TOTT. So after completing said trail and a nice pub lunch we set off to conquer this little devil! Happy to say that mission accomplished and we drove feeling very pleased with ourselves. Oh, and I filled in another blank on my D/T grid. Thanks pprass.
I'm not going to call this one a DNF
Hey !! I found it didn't I ??
But despite some determined efforts,
this cache remained stubbornly out of reach
I gotta get me one of those lightweight, telescoping ladders

Our last for the day as we stretched the caching window. Only being up for the day we were not prepaid but decided to have a look so headed over. The container was soon spotted but having had our wheetbix this morning we made our way up with out too much fuss TOTT free to make the find and sign the log. TFTC
Veni Vidi Vici! Well at least two out of three. On a caching expedition with ozglory and we came to this one to see if it was possible. Well, we came, we saw but unfortunately we were not able to conquer this one at this time.

After Bazooka I came down here to see if I could make the climb. Luckily for me I have long legs and flexible joints so I was able to cautiously use the thin limbs to climb up. Lucky I'm not 20 kg heavier. Not sure if the branches would hold me.
Thanks pprass

A big day of caching today. First one on this track. i was a bit hesitant about how difficult the climb would be. However it wasn't that bad at all. The first branch requried a bit of stretch to get onto then it was reasonably straight forward after that. signed the log and made sure to keep hold of everything and didn't drop it. The little one and wife stayed at the bottom and took photos of me in the tree. When scoping out interesting caches to find on my holiday i was surprised to find a cache with the same name as one of mine. Turns out this one was placed before mine. I didn't even know this one existied when i placed mine. Clearly great minds think alike. TFTC
Well bugger me. Three bloody times we walked away from this one as we didn't have any kind of TOTT's with us.
I might as well have a Sunday sermon because on the third time I rose again, almost from the dead. This time with Cheryl prodding me with a decent sized stick to give me some leverage. I used to be able to monkey my way up palm trees when I was a kid, so this time I shimmied with the assistance of the stick up my derriere. Laughing our heads off by this stage, I made the section of tree I was trying for, and low and behold I dropped the flaming lid. So I had to direct Cheryl to where I saw it fall and luckily she wedged it into a tree branch and passed it back to me.
The logged signed and replaced, I shimmied my way back down the trunk with barely a scratch. And we both stood there amazed at what we had just accomplished.
Definitely deserves a favorite point for the fun involved. Now on to the dam, damn it.
Thanks for placing this cache pprass.

I really wanted this one when I saw it was a DT that I was yet to acquire, so excited when we got to the GZ that BeckNmonts and I didn’t even notice any X - I spotted the cache and we used the TOTT to retrieve that cache - a favourite point from me!! TFTC pprass, I really enjoyed it!
LouLou0212 wanted this cache today, so we detoured from our planned journey. I was busy looking for an x when she spotted the container. We both forgot to look for the x after that, but are curious about what it was! A tool was used which made the retrieval a quick process in the rain. LouLou0212 does not realise this, but she should be happy that she packed a hard shell suitcase for this trip was it was accidentally left in the rain while we retrieved the cache! Thanks for the excuse to have a nice drive, stop and climb pprass
We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns.
Today, we took a drive out toward Wauchope, exploring a few 4WD tracks which ended up taking us south as far as Herons Creek for the day [^] Our GPS was taking us around in circles again, but we eventually located the cache and then it was just a matter of working our how to actually get our hands on it Fortunately we had packed a few useful TOTT's for this trip and before long, Mr Just a Trifle had added our name added to the log book
Thank you pprass for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Returned to the site ,with help geograndsons, Hamish,8 Ed 6 , Lewie 4 plus a TOTT... Thanks pprass ..
The first time we tried to get this cache we came unprepared... would have had the FTF if we had all the required equipment...anyway, all good today with the help of geo son and wife and the correct TOTT, we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Tried to nab on a solo caching day on the motorbike. Score so far today:8.5/15. Clever and straight forward hide, found the GZ and spotted the cache, but I was not quite that prepared enough to recover it, half score on this visit. I will be back........ TFTC
Having located the cache !! and raining at the time !! Shall return to sign the log, very soon !! Thanks pprass.
We left this cache for on the return from the dam. Hadn't looked into what dastardly deeds might be needed to get it. Pleased to find it didn't have the major bushbash we originally thought......and happy we didn't need a TOTT either because we didn't have one. No problems seeing the cache or for MrG's inner possum to scamper up to it. We had a great morning riding the Blue Creek Dam Trail and finding the interesting selection of hides. Today we were the only ones here which made it even better. TFTC pprass.

After spending the night at Trial Bay as a part of the Havoc Incarceration event yesterday, we were headed back home to Newcastle this afternoon, but not before stopping off to visit a few sought after caches.
Given the T rating, I was intrigued by what might lay in wait. The family stayed at the bottom of the hill while I quickly jogged up to the top, and then went in search of the cache. The only difficulty with this one was finding the right spot as my GPS was apparently pointing to an old location. Once the cache was spotted, retrieving it was fairly simple...and I was back to the car in 5 minutes, which was nice as it was getting quite warm out. Loved the adventure.

Mik got stuck there while muggles were tearing up the forest and driving past! TFTC!
We headed back out to the Blue Creek Dam trail this morning, we had a quick look amongst the rubble when we were here on the weekend to no avail.
We were informed by a previous finder that we would need a TOTT in order to access the cache. Luckily ours was long enough and after a bit of climbing the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the cache pprass.

Well that one didn't last very long! From the photos that Team Novo showed me - it is lying on the ground. So if anyone wants an easy T of 4.5 the cache is just 6" off the ground!
Heading north today from the central coast for a gig tonite at Crescent Head, I have organised a fairly big w/e of caching while I'm around. I got to GZ after passing some chain saw muggles at the Greggs Rd intersection just south of here but just could not eyeball this cache. It was indeed very glary today with the overcast conditions but after about 15 mins the thought occurred to me, actually, that even though this cache is only a few months old, and that the most recent finder was just three weeks prior, this cache was probably in one of the trees that has been cut down right here. The stumps look recent enough. There is some scattered logging going on in the area including sections to the north of this intersection, and at least two large trees right on the southern intersection - where my i4GPS is pointing. I might put a watch on this cache and see what the next finders experience.
I took some pics at GZ actually... I might send them to the CO. Thanks anyway, pprass. Hopefully for your sake it is just that I got this one completely wrong.

We had organised with ozglory to go out together on Thursday, to find the caches going to Blue Creek Dam. Today Wednesday we get a phone call saying we're ready to go, not realising what day it was.
This is certainly a 4x4 track to get to the dam wall.
Spotted the cache as we pulled up in the car. We had bought a TOTT with us so we made short work retrieving this one.
Thanks for placing this cache pprass

Found with DiMorgan. This was our first cache for the day, well the month actually. Amuggle was sitting at the first one so we had a committee meeting and decided to do it last. Cache was quickly spotted and fortunately, Bill had brought a very handy TOTT, apart from a rollover roughly the size of the great pyramid of Geza, the first part was done and dusted. Thanks pprass for placing this cache. tnln sl
Didn't come to prepared for this one, but the Geotwins and I found a way eventually. Replaced the container, only to find the log had fallen out, and we had to get back to it again! Replaced securely, now on to the next. Thanks for the challenge.
Found with ThousandYardStare and the co pprass, the trip out to this cache was quite entertaining by clearing the road from the lantana and other objects that would scratch the car- both Peter and Richo had their machetes out and pruning back the track. The next people who come by here should be very thankful! Arrived at GZ, cache was spotted, and a FTF, I couldn't hesitate, I just had to be the dare devil and climb TFTC Pprass
TFTC, in the company of pprass & nursehaley. After we all took turns hacking at branches along the track with machete's so Peter's car would'nt get scratched (again) we got to GZ. Haley had the climbing honours and the log was quickly signed.
